Description
Claims (3)
- 気体の封入された密閉容器と、
前記密閉容器内に配置されたカソードと、
前記密閉容器内に配置されたアノードと、
前記カソードと前記アノードとの間の放電経路上に位置する第1開口を有するアパーチャ部材と、
前記カソードと前記アパーチャ部材との間の放電経路上に位置する第2開口を有するシールド電極と、
前記シールド電極の電位を、接地電位及びフローティング電位のいずれかに切り替える電位制御手段と、
を備え、
前記電位制御手段は、
前記シールド電極と接地電位との間に介在するスイッチと、
放電開始初期後の放電状態を感知する検出手段と、
を備え、
前記検出手段が前記放電状態を感知しない場合には前記スイッチを接続し、感知した場合には前記スイッチを切断する、
ことを特徴とする光源装置。 - 気体の封入された密閉容器と、
前記密閉容器内に配置されたカソードと、
前記密閉容器内に配置されたアノードと、
前記カソードと前記アノードとの間の放電経路上に位置する第1開口を有するアパーチャ部材と、
前記カソードと前記アパーチャ部材との間の放電経路上に位置する第2開口を有するシールド電極と、
前記シールド電極に電気的に接続された導電部材と、
を備え、
前記導電部材の電位は、放電開始初期時には接地電位とされ、その後フローティング電位とされる、
ことを特徴とする放電ランプ。 - 気体の封入された密閉容器と、
前記密閉容器内に配置されたカソードと、
前記密閉容器内に配置されたアノードと、
前記カソードと前記アノードとの間の放電経路上に位置する第1開口を有するアパーチャ部材と、
前記カソードと前記アパーチャ部材との間の放電経路上に位置する第2開口を有するシールド電極とを備える放電ランプの制御方法において、
放電開始初期の期間において前記シールド電極の電位を接地電位とした状態で、前記カソードと前記アノードとの間、及び、前記カソードと前記アパーチャ部材との間にトリガ電圧を印加する予備放電工程と、
前記予備放電工程の後、前記カソードと前記アノードとの間に主電圧を印加した状態で、前記シールド電極の電位をフローティング電位とする主放電工程と、
を備える放電ランプの制御方法。
