Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の複合材料について説明する。本発明の複合材料は、下記一般式(1)で示すカルバゾール誘導体と、無機化合物とを含む。
本発明の発光素子は、一対の電極間に複数の層を有する。当該複数の層は、電極から離れたところに発光領域が形成されるように、つまり電極から離れた部位でキャリア(担体)の再結合が行われるように、キャリア注入性の高い物質やキャリア輸送性の高い物質からなる層を組み合わせて積層されたものである。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態2に示した構成とは異なる構成を有する発光素子について、図5および図6を用いて説明する。本実施の形態で示す構成は、陰極として機能する電極に接するように本発明の複合材料を含む層を設けることができる。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態2および実施の形態3に示した構成とは異なる構成を有する発光素子について、図3および図4を用いて説明する。本実施の形態で示す構成は、発光素子の2つの電極に接するように本発明の複合材料を含む層を設けることができる。
また、第1の層211や第4の層214を厚膜化した場合、駆動電圧の上昇を抑制することができる。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態2〜実施の形態4に示した構成とは異なる構成を有する発光素子について説明する。本実施の形態で示す構成は、複数の発光ユニットを積層した構成の発光素子の電荷発生層として、本発明の複合材料を適用した構成である。

図49から酸化電位は0.25V(vs.Ag/Ag+電極)であることが分かった。また、100サイクルもの走査を繰り返しているにもかかわらず、酸化反応においてはCV曲線のピーク位置やピーク強度にほとんど変化が見られない。このことから、本発明のカルバゾール誘導体は酸化に対して極めて安定であることが分かった。

前記遷移金属酸化物は、チタン酸化物、バナジウム酸化物、モリブデン酸化物、タングステン酸化物、レニウム酸化物、ルテニウム酸化物、クロム酸化物、ジルコニウム酸化物、ハフニウム酸化物、タンタル酸化物、銀酸化物のいずれか一種もしくは複数種であることを特徴とする複合材料。 - 一対の電極間に発光物質を含む層を有し、
前記発光物質を含む層は、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の複合材料を含む層を有することを特徴とする発光素子。 - 請求項6に記載の発光素子と、前記発光素子の発光を制御する制御手段とを有する発光装置。
- 表示部を有し、
前記表示部は、請求項6に記載の発光素子と前記発光素子の発光を制御する制御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする電気機器。
