Claims (4)
- 電動モータ(52)の駆動力で車輪を制動する電動制動力発生手段(23)を備えたブレーキ装置において、
走行中の非制動時に前記電動モータ(52)を制動力を発生しない基準位置から制動力発生方向と逆方向に回転させるように電流を供給し、前記電動モータ(52)の回転が検出されない場合に故障が発生したと判定する故障判定手段(U)を備えたことを特徴とするブレーキ装置。 - 前記故障判定手段(U)は、運転者がアクセルペダルを踏んでいるときに前記判定を行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のブレーキ装置。
- 前記故障判定手段(U)は、前記電動制動力発生手段(23)がブレーキ液圧を発生していないときに前記判定を行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のブレーキ装置。
- 運転者の制動操作によりブレーキ液圧を発生するマスタシリンダ(11)と、
前記電動モータ(52)の駆動力でブレーキ液圧を発生する前記電動制動力発生手段(23)と、
前記マスタシリンダ(11)あるいは前記電動制動力発生手段(23)が発生するブレーキ液圧で車輪を制動するホイールシリンダ(16,17,20,21)とを備え、
前記電動制動力発生手段(23)は前記マスタシリンダ(11)および前記ホイールシリンダ(16,17,20,21)間に配置され、前記電動制動力発生手段(23)がブレーキ液圧を発生していないときには前記マスタシリンダ(11)および前記ホイールシリンダ(16,17,20,21)間が連通することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のブレーキ装置。
