Description
The present invention relates to a rolling method using a plate rolling machine (hereinafter referred to as an intelligent rolling mill) of a type in which a work roll is directly supported by a divided reinforcing roll having individual load cells, and particularly, nine or more divided rolls are provided. The present invention relates to a rolling method using an intelligent rolling mill.
The new type rolling mill illustrated in FIG. 8 is a mechanism that directly supports the
In the example of FIG. 8, a total of 7 split rolls are provided, 3 on the entrance side of the rolling mill and 4 on the exit side. However, more splits are provided according to the plate width range of the plate material to be rolled. Roles may be deployed.
For example, when a plate material having a plate width of 600 to 1800 mm is rolled, the divided roll barrel length is about 220 mm at the maximum. To roll a plate material having a plate width of 1800 mm, nine divided rolls having a barrel length of 220 mm are required. There is.
As another example, when rolling a plate material having a plate width of 800 to 5500 mm, it should be configured so as to substantially include three divided rolls even with the minimum plate width. In that case, the divided roll body length is large. Even about 300 mm. Therefore, in order to roll a plate material having a plate width of 5500 mm, 19 divided rolls having a body length of 300 mm must be provided.
FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing a rolling method according to the prior art using an intelligent rolling mill provided with 19 split rolls having a body length of 300 mm. In this example, the
In the intelligent rolling mill, for example, odd-numbered split rolls are alternately arranged on the exit side and on the entrance side, such as the rolling mill exit side, and the even numbered split rolls on the rolling mill entrance side. Thus, the surface including the rolling direction of the split roll is expressed by being transferred to the vertical plane, so that the split roll is written directly above the work roll.
By the way, in the case of this rolling mill, the minimum load for preventing the slip between the work roll and the divided roll is about 1 tf. However, control errors associated with various disturbances such as plate thickness fluctuation and temperature fluctuation of the rolled
However, when rolling the
If the work
Here, when the rolled
About this problem, although
Further, in
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a rolling method that does not cause an acoustic wave shape defect when rolling a rolled material having a relatively narrow plate width using an intelligent rolling mill provided with nine or more divided rolls. It is to be.
As a result of considering the slip limit of the work roll to the split roll load and the target value of the split roll load for maintaining the slip limit, the present inventor has found that the split roll is located outside the rolled material as viewed from the rolling direction. The technical knowledge that the generation of the ear wave shape defect can be prevented by rolling a part or the whole of the material in a non-contact state from the beginning is obtained. This invention is completed based on the said knowledge, and the place made into the summary is as follows. The invention according to

All rolling methods according to the present invention include a contact roll group consisting of split rolls located in a range covering the plate width of the rolled material as viewed from the rolling direction, and both sides of the contact roll as viewed from the rolling direction, or a work roll. At least a pair of split rolls located on both ends of the roll is brought into contact with the work roll and a part or all of the remaining split rolls are rolled in a non-contact state, so that the force pushing the work roll outside the plate width is greatly increased. As a result, the deflection of the work roll outside the plate width is greatly relieved, and the occurrence of an ear wave shape defect in the rolled material can be prevented.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram showing an embodiment of the rolling method according to the present invention. In this example, the rolling material is viewed from the rolling direction on the assumption of the sheet width information of the
The remaining split rolls here are # 1-7 split rolls and # 13-19 split rolls as shown in FIG. 2, and a part of them is not in contact with the
In this way, a part of or all of the split rolls located outside the rolled material as viewed from the rolling direction and having no rolled material immediately below the divided rolls are prevented from contacting the
In addition, although the division | segmentation roll is arrange | positioned above the rolling
Here, in the example of FIG. 2, in addition to the contact roll group, that is, # 8-12 split rolls, a pair of split rolls located on both sides of the contact roll group as viewed from the rolling direction, that is, # 7 and # The 13-divided roll is in contact with the
This is a preferred embodiment intended to reduce the thickness of the end of the rolled
In addition, when an edge drop is large and it respond | corresponds to this, # 6-7 division | segmentation roll and # 13-14 division | segmentation roll may be made to contact with the
Moreover, in the example of FIG. 2, in addition to the contact roll group, that is, # 8 to 12 split rolls, two pairs of split rolls positioned on both ends of the
This is a measure for supporting the work
In this example, two pairs of split rolls positioned on both ends of the

Even in this case, since the rolled
Therefore, in FIG. 3, in addition to the contact roll group, that is, # 4-6 split rolls, two pairs of split rolls positioned on both sides of the contact roll group as viewed from the rolling direction, that is, # 2, # 3, # The 7 and # 8 split rolls are brought into contact with the
FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram showing another form of the rolling method using the same intelligent rolling mill as in FIG. 3, but in this example, in order to stabilize the rotation of the
By the way, since the intelligent rolling mill estimates and controls the rolling load distribution acting between the rolled material and the work roll in real time, it is necessary to identify in advance the deformation characteristics of the split reinforcing roll system (for example, Patent Document 4). reference).
Therefore, in the intelligent rolling mill, with the kiss roll tightened before starting the rolling operation, the rolling mechanism provided in each divided roll is operated to change the divided roll position individually or plurally, and detect the divided roll load and position. Based on these data, the deformation characteristics including the deformation matrix of the divided reinforcing roll system are identified.
However, when the rolling operation is carried out with a part of the split roll being non-contact like the rolling method according to the present invention, the deformation of the structural member such as the frame supporting the split roll causes a load to act on all the split rolls. It will be different from you.
Therefore, even if the deformation characteristics of the split rolls obtained in a state where a load is applied to all the split rolls are applied to the rolling method according to the present invention, an error occurs in the estimated value of the split roll deformation amount, and the rolling load distribution An error also occurs in the calculation.
In order to solve this problem, in the rolling method according to the present invention, as shown below, a kiss roll tightening test is performed on all the load patterns of the split rolls that may be used in the rolling operation, and deformation is performed. Collect data for property identification, determine the split roll to be non-contact from the sheet width data of the rolled material to be rolled next immediately before rolling during rolling operation, and obtain deformation characteristic data corresponding to the usage status of the split roll The control is executed by estimating the width direction distribution of the rolling load acting between the rolled material and the work roll.
FIG. 5 shows a state where kiss roll tightening data is collected with all divided rolls in contact.
Here, in the case of an intelligent rolling mill provided with nine divided rolls as shown in FIG. 5, there is a possibility that # 1 and # 9 divided rolls are rolled in a non-contact manner as shown in FIG. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, kiss roll tightening data in a state where the # 1 and # 9 divided rolls are not in contact with each other is also collected.
Similarly, as shown in FIG. 4, there is a possibility that the # 3 and # 7 split rolls are rolled without contact. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 7, kiss roll tightening data in a state where the # 3 and # 7 divided rolls are not in contact with each other is also collected.
Thus, by collecting the kiss roll tightening data for all patterns and identifying the deformation characteristics of the split reinforcement roll system in advance, the accurate deformation characteristics of the split reinforcement roll system are used during actual rolling operations. This can greatly improve the estimation accuracy of the rolling load distribution.
