Description
典型的な粉末配合物においては、タルク、カオリン、澱粉、およびステアリン酸マグネシウムが、(多くの場合、すべてを合わせて60重量%を超える)高濃度で、通常使用される。吸収顔料もまた、色を着けるためによく使用される(例えば、有機染料および類似品、酸化鉄など)。フィラーおよび吸収顔料の粒径は、一般に25μm未満である。これらの機能は、充填、ケーキング防止または着色である。しかし、フィラーはまた、端部の面積に対する比が大きいために光散乱剤としての役割も幾分か果たす。ある場合は、フィラーは、必然的にカラートラベル顔料の表面を装飾することになり、したがって、カラートラベル顔料の表面からの光反射を低減させる。粉末配合物における他の成分からの散乱効果(または形態的な乱れ)は、通常、カラートラベル効果を減少または消失させる。しかし、散乱効果は、大粒径の顔料に対してはより小さな影響を与えることになり、したがって、大粒径のカラートラベル顔料の光沢強度は、小粒径のカラートラベル顔料の場合より、少ししか減少しない。大きなカラートラベル顔料粒子を0.01〜100重量%、好ましくは35重量%未満、より好ましくは約1〜20重量%混和すると、所望のカラートラベル効果をうるのに、一般に十分であるが、この混和量は粉末組成物の成分に依存して変化しうる。大きな粒子の濃度の上限は、美的およびコスト的要因によって決定される。
多くの皮膚トポロジーの研究により、人間の皮膚は完全には滑らかでないことが示された。皮膚には、目に見えない山と谷、すなわち皮膚の粗さが存在している。異なる試験方法によるいくつかの皮膚の粗さのデータが報告された。粗さデータは、試験方法、皮膚の条件および多くのその他の要因に応じて、数μmから数十μmの範囲にある。それにもかかわらず、皮膚の粗さは、皮膚上の顔料の性能を損なうのに十分な大きさでありうる。
本発明に記載のカラートラベル顔料の1つのタイプは、基体をベースとする真珠光沢顔料である。本発明の顔料に適したベース基体は、フレーク状の基体である。好ましい基体は、フィロケイ酸塩である。特に好適な基体は、天然および/または合成雲母、酸化アルミニウム、ガラスフレーク、ホウケイ酸塩フレーク、SiO2フレーク、タルク、カオリン、絹雲母、フレーク状酸化鉄またはTiO2フレーク、黒鉛フレーク、BiOClまたはその他の同等材料である。

雲母(粒径10〜150μm、D50=75〜95μm)100gを脱イオン水に懸濁させ、懸濁液を撹拌しながら75℃に加熱する。この温度に到達したときに、SnCl4×5H2O3gおよび水90gに溶解させた塩酸(37%)10mlからなる溶液を、激しく撹拌しながら、雲母の懸濁液に計量してゆっくりと供給する。220mlのTiCl4溶液(TiCl4が400g/l)を、2.0のpHで、計量して供給する。引き続き、このpHを7.0に上昇させ、830mlのナトリウム水ガラス溶液(SiO2は13重量%)を、このpHで、計量してゆっくりと供給し、この間ずっと、10%HClを用いてpHを7.5で一定に維持する。SnCl4×5H2O11.5gおよび脱イオン水350mlに溶解させた塩酸(32%)10mlからなる溶液を、pH=1.8で引き続き計量して供給する。最後に、TiCl4溶液(TiCl4が400g/l)220mlを、pH=2.0で、計量して供給する。SnCl4×5H2O溶液およびTiCl4溶液を添加する間中、このpHを、いずれの場合にも、NaOH溶液(32%)を使用して一定に維持する。
相Aの成分を混ぜ合わせる。ハンマーミルにより粉末化し、0.27インチの矢筈模様(herring bone)の篩に2回掛ける。穏やかに撹拌しながら、相Bを添加する。相Cを混ぜ合わせる;70℃に加熱する。溶液は、透明で均一でなければならない。全体を撹拌しながら、相Cをバッチの上に噴霧する。バッチ全体をジャンプギャップに通す。
水相:相Aの成分を混ぜ合わせる。均一になるまで混合する。相Bを撹拌しながら添加し、未分散顔料が残っていなくなるまで混合する。相Cを混ぜ合わせ、添加する。混合を続け、15分間90℃に加熱する。75℃に冷却する。相Dと相Eを混ぜ合わせ、添加し、未分散粒子が残っていなくなるまで撹拌を続ける。相Fを添加する。
プロペラで撹拌しながら、75〜80℃で油相を水相に添加する。温度を維持し、15分間均一化する。ほどよく撹拌しながら、45℃に冷却する。相Hを混ぜ合わせ、添加する。30℃に冷却する。
粉末成分は、均一に混合し、次いで、63μmの篩を通して篩い分けする。
インビボSPF4.5(被験者5人)、Colipaタスクフォース法
相Bの成分を、混合しながら85℃に加熱する。相Aをブレンドし、相Bに加える。融液が均一になるまで混合を続ける。80℃に冷却し、金型に注ぎ込む。
Claims (18)
- カラートラベル効果を有する顔料を含有する化粧用組成物であって、皮膚に塗布した際にカラートラベル効果を保持するために、少なくとも40μmから150μmまでの粒径D50粒径を有する大粒径のカラートラベル顔料を0.01〜100重量%含有し、
前記大粒径のカラートラベル顔料が、高屈折率コーティング層および低屈折率コーティング層が交互になっている層によってコーティングされており、
前記高屈折率コーティング層の屈折率が、n>1.8であり、
前記低屈折率コーティング層の屈折率が、n≦1.8である化粧用組成物。 - 前記カラートラベル顔料が、少なくとも60μmのD50粒径を有する、請求項1に記載の化粧用組成物。
- 35重量%未満の大粒径のカラートラベル顔料を含有する、請求項1または2に記載の化粧用組成物。
- 1〜20重量%の大粒径のカラートラベル顔料を含有する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記層が金属酸化物である、請求項4に記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記金属酸化物が、TiO2およびSiO2またはFe2O3またはこれらの混合物である、請求項5に記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記大粒径のカラートラベル顔料が、2層を超える金属酸化物層を含有する、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記金属酸化物層が、TiO2−SiO2−TiO2である、請求項7に記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記TiO2がルチルである、請求項6から8のいずれかに記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記カラートラベル顔料が、天然および/または合成雲母、SiO2フレーク、Al2O3フレーク、ガラスフレーク、ホウケイ酸塩フレーク、黒鉛フレークおよびBiOCl、フレーク形態のTiO2、フレーク形態のFe2O3からなる群から選択される基体を含有する、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記カラートラベル顔料が、最上層として、吸収顔料または水に不溶性の染料(類)もしくはレーキ(類)をさらに含む、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の化粧用組成物。
- 前記最上層として、フェロシアン化第2鉄、プルシアンブルー、カルミンレッド、インジゴ、またはカルミン、FD&C染料類もしくはレーキ類、D&C染料類もしくはレーキ類を含む、請求項11に記載の化粧用組成物。
- 少なくとも40μmから150μmまでのD50粒径を有し、
高屈折率コーティング層および低屈折率コーティング層が交互になっている層によってコーティングされており、
前記高屈折率コーティング層の屈折率が、n>1.8であり、
前記低屈折率コーティング層の屈折率が、n≦1.8であるカラートラベル顔料。 - 少なくとも60μmのD50粒径を有する、請求項13に記載のカラートラベル顔料。
- 75から95μmの範囲のD50を有する、請求項14に記載のカラートラベル顔料。
- 前記顔料が、最上層として、吸収顔料、水不溶性の染料(類)または水不溶性のレーキ(類)を含む、請求項13から15のいずれかに記載のカラートラベル顔料。
- 請求項13乃至16のいずれかに記載のカラートラベル顔料を含む化粧用組成物。
- アイペンシルまたはアイハイライター、クリームパウダー、リキッドまたはスティックファンデーションまたはブロンザー、リップグロス、口紅、マニキュア液、アイライナー、マスカラ、整髪用ゲル、シャワーゲル、ボディーローション、スキンクリームまたはシャンプーの形態をした、請求項1乃至12及び17のいずれかに記載の化粧用組成物。
