Claims (13)
- 主分岐と側分枝を含む分岐を有する血管の1つまたは複数の病巣を治療するためのステント搬送デバイスであって、
カテーテル・シャフトと、
前記主分枝内で展開されるように構成された前記カテーテル・シャフトによって担持される第1ステントと、
前記側分枝内で展開されるように構成された前記カテーテル・シャフトによって担持される第2ステントと、
前記第1ステントと前記第2ステントを互いに独立に展開するための展開機構と、
から構成され、
前記第1ステントは、複数の分離可能ステントセグメントから構成され、複数のセグメントのうち、未膨張ステントセグメントは接続されておらず、隣接する未膨張セグメントは互いに直接に係合されており、
前記展開機構は、前記カテーテル・シャフトに結合された膨張可能部材を備え、前記第1ステントと前記第2ステントは当該膨張可能部材により膨張されるように前記膨張可能部材上に配置可能であり、
前記膨張可能部材は、第1のステントの複数のセグメントを同時に展開するように構成される
ことを特徴とするステント搬送デバイス。 - 前記膨張可能部材上に摺動可能に配設されたシースをさらに備え、前記シースは前記膨張可能部材の第2部分の膨張を可能にする一方で、前記膨張可能部材の第1部分を制約するように配置可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記膨張可能部材は、前記第1ステントと前記第2ステントのどちらかを展開せずに、前記血管を拡張させるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第2ステントは自己膨張性があることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第1ステントと前記第2ステントの少なくとも一方が、ステントの展開に続いて広げることができる側壁開口を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第1ステントと前記第2ステントのもう片方は、前記側壁開口を経て配置可能であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記側壁開口は、前記第1ステントまたは前記第2ステントの第1壁部分にあり、前記第1ステントまたは第2ステントは第2壁部分をさらに有し、前記第2壁部分は前記第1壁部分とは異なる幾何形状、材料、または形状を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第2壁部分はバルーン膨張可能であり、前記第1壁部分は自己膨張性があることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第1壁部分は、前記第2壁部分より低い単位長さあたりの材料密度を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第2ステントは、前記第1ステントとは異なる幾何形状、形状、またはサイズを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記カテーテル・シャフトによって担持され、前記第1ステントと前記第2ステントとは独立に展開可能である第3ステントをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第1ステントと前記第2ステントの少なくとも一方の長さまたはステントセグメントの数量は配置するときに選択できることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント搬送デバイス。
- 前記第2ステントは、複数の分離可能ステント・セグメントを備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載のステント搬送デバイス。
