Description
ここで、変数“Qhyst”は、いわゆる「ピンポン」効果を避けるために設定される電波強度のパラメータであることが一般的に知られている。検出されたセルの電波強度が現在選択されているセルの電波強度を“Qhyst”だけ上回る場合は、検出されたセルへの切替が起こる。
また、変数“Treselection”は、移動端末装置の受信品質変化が激しい場合にセルの切り替えが頻繁に起こることを避けるための時間のパラメータであることが一般的に知られている。検出されたセルの電波強度が、現在選択されているセルの電波強度を“Qhyst”だけ上回る時間が“Treselection”に等しいか又はそれより長い場合は、検出されたセルへの切替が起こる。
Claims (8)
- UMTS標準又は3G標準に従う移動体ネットワークシステムでのセルの再選択動作の最適化の方法であって、
前記セルの再選択動作の最適化は、階層的セル構造によらずに、移動端末装置の速度の関数として、セル再選択のために使用される変数“Treselection”及び“Qhyst”を変化させることによって行われ、前記“Treselection”は、速度に依らない時間インターバルであり、前記“Qhyst”は、速度に依らない閾値であり、
前記移動端末装置の速度状態を決定した後、前記時間インターバル“Treselection”の変化が、該時間インターバル“Treselection”の速度依存のスケーリングを行うことによって生じるとともに、前記閾値“Qhyst”の変化が、該閾値“Qhyst”の速度依存のスケーリングを行うことによって生じる、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記移動端末装置の速度状態の決定は、3GPP25.304に従うことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記セルの再選択動作の速度依存の最適化は、前記移動端末装置によって実施され、前記移動端末装置の速度状態が “低速移動”又は“高速移動”のどちらかの状態であるかに応じて前記変数“Treselection”及び“Qhyst”を変化させることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 前記移動端末装置の速度状態は、時間間隔TCRでのセルの再選択の数NCRに基づいて決定されることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか一項記載の方法。
- 前記変数“Treselection”は、前記移動端末装置の速度状態が“低速移動”状態である場合はより長く、前記移動端末装置の速度状態が“高速移動”状態である場合はより短いことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか一項記載の方法。
- 前記変数“Treselection”は、前記移動端末装置の速度状態が該速度状態の決定の前後で同じ状態のままである場合は変化しないことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか一項記載の方法。
- 前記変数“Qhyst”は、前記移動端末装置の速度状態が該速度状態の決定の前後で同じ状態のままである場合は変化しないことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至6のうちいずれか一項記載の方法。
- 前記セルの再選択動作の速度依存の最適化は、前記移動端末装置が“遊休状態”、“URA_PCH”、“CELL_PCH”又は“CELL-FACH”の中のいずれか1つの状態にある場合に行われることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至7のうちいずれか一項記載の方法。
