Claims (12)
- 有機電界発光表示装置の複数の発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給するエミッション駆動部において;
前記発光制御線の各々に接続される複数のステージを備え、
前記ステージの各々は、
第1ノードに、第1信号または第2信号のいずれか1つを供給するための入力部と、
前記第1ノードに前記第2信号が入力されたときに第1レベルの電圧を出力し、前記第1信号が入力されたときに第2レベルの電圧を出力するための出力部と、
電源が入力される初期駆動期間に、前記第1ノードに前記第2信号を供給するための初期駆動制御部と、
を有し、
前記入力部は、
第1電極が第3電源に接続され、第2電極が前記第1ノードに接続され、ゲート電極が第1入力端子に接続される第1トランジスタと、
第1電極が前記第1ノードに接続され、第2電極が第3入力端子に接続される第2トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と第1電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、
第1電極が前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極に接続され、第2電極が第2入力端子に接続され、ゲート電極が前記第1入力端子に接続される第3トランジスタと、
を備え、
前記初期駆動制御部は、
第1電極が前記第3電源に接続され、第2電極が前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極に接続され、ゲート電極が第4入力端子に接続される第10トランジスタと、
第1電極が前記第1ノードに接続され、第2電極が前記第3電源よりも低い電圧に設定される第4電源に接続され、ゲート電極が前記第4入力端子に接続される第11トランジスタと、
を備え、
前記第4入力端子には、前記初期駆動期間において、前記第10トランジスタ及び第11トランジスタがターンオンし得るように、初期制御信号が供給されることを特徴とする、エミッション駆動部。 - 前記第1レベルの電圧は、ハイレベルの電圧を意味し、前記第2レベルの電圧は、前記第1レベルの電圧よりも低いローレベルの電圧を意味することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエミッション駆動部。
- 前記第1入力端子には第1クロック信号が供給され、前記第3入力端子には前記第1クロック信号が反転した第1クロック反転信号が入力されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエミッション駆動部。
- 前記第2入力端子には、直前の前記ステージの出力信号または開始信号が入力されることを特徴とする、請求項1または3に記載のエミッション駆動部。
- 前記初期駆動制御部は、前記初期駆動期間において、前記第2信号として前記第4電源の電圧を前記第1ノードに供給することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエミッション駆動部。
- 前記出力部は、
第1電極が前記第3電源に接続される第4トランジスタ、第6トランジスタ、及び第8トランジスタと、
第2電極が前記第4電源に接続され、第1電極が前記第4トランジスタの第2電極に接続される第5トランジスタと、
第2電極が前記第4電源に接続され、第1電極が前記第6トランジスタの第2電極に接続される第7トランジスタと、
第2電極が前記第4電源に接続され、第1電極が前記第8トランジスタの第2電極に接続される第9トランジスタと、
前記第9トランジスタのゲート電極と第1電極との間に接続される第2キャパシタと、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1または5に記載のエミッション駆動部。 - 発光制御線、走査線、及びデータ線の交差部に位置する複数の画素を有する画素部と、
前記走査線を駆動するための走査駆動部と、
前記データ線を駆動するためのデータ駆動部と、
前記発光制御線を駆動するため、前記発光制御線の各々に接続される複数のステージを有するエミッション駆動部と、
を備え、
前記ステージの各々は、
第1ノードに、第1信号または第2信号のいずれか1つを供給するための入力部と、
前記第1ノードに前記第2信号が入力されたときに第1レベルの電圧を出力し、前記第1信号が入力されたときに第2レベルの電圧を出力するための出力部と、
電源が入力される初期駆動期間に、前記第1ノードに前記第2信号を供給するための初期駆動制御部と、
を有し、
前記入力部は、
第1電極が第3電源に接続され、第2電極が前記第1ノードに接続され、ゲート電極が第1入力端子に接続される第1トランジスタと、
第1電極が前記第1ノードに接続され、第2電極が第3入力端子に接続される第2トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と第1電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、
第1電極が前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極に接続され、第2電極が第2入力端子に接続され、ゲート電極が前記第1入力端子に接続される第3トランジスタと、
を備え、
前記初期駆動制御部は、
第1電極が前記第3電源に接続され、第2電極が前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極に接続され、ゲート電極が第4入力端子に接続される第10トランジスタと、
第1電極が前記第1ノードに接続され、第2電極が前記第3電源よりも低い電圧に設定される第4電源に接続され、ゲート電極が前記第4入力端子に接続される第11トランジスタと、
を備え、
前記第4入力端子には、前記初期駆動期間において、前記第10トランジスタ及び前記第11トランジスタがターンオンし得るように、初期制御信号が供給されることを特徴とする、有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記第1レベルの電圧は、ハイレベルの電圧を意味し、前記第2レベルの電圧は、前記第1レベルの電圧よりも低いローレベルの電圧を意味することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第1入力端子には第1クロック信号が供給され、前記第3入力端子には前記第1クロック信号が反転した第1クロック反転信号が入力されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第2入力端子には、直前の前記ステージの出力信号または開始信号が入力されることを特徴とする、請求項7または9に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記初期駆動制御部は、前記初期駆動期間において、前記第2信号として前記第4電源の電圧を前記第1ノードに供給することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記出力部は、
第1電極が前記第3電源に接続される第4トランジスタ、第6トランジスタ、及び第8トランジスタと、
第2電極が前記第4電源に接続され、第1電極が前記第4トランジスタの第2電極に接続される第5トランジスタと、
第2電極が前記第4電源に接続され、第1電極が前記第6トランジスタの第2電極に接続される第7トランジスタと、
第2電極が前記第4電源に接続され、第1電極が前記第8トランジスタの第2電極に接続される第9トランジスタと、
前記第9トランジスタのゲート電極と第1電極との間に接続される第2キャパシタと、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項7または11に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
