本発明は、集塵を目的としたフィルターの掃除を行なうために設けられた、空気調和機用のフィルターの除塵装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、空気調和機には、機器の通風回路内にごみや埃が詰まり、性能を低下させないように集塵を目的とした脱着可能なフィルターが設置されており、定期的にこのフィルターを取り外して水洗いや掃除機でごみや埃を除去掃除していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の構成では、高所に取り付けられている場合はフィルターを取り外す際に顔や身体に埃などが落ちてきたり、手が汚れたりして不衛生であった。そこで特開平7−88313号公報記載のようなフィルターを取り外さずに水で自動洗浄するもが考案されているが、この場合水タンクに常時水を入れておく必要があり手間がかかる。また、水が汚れてくると汚染したりする場合もあり、水漏れの可能性もあるという課題を有していた。

本発明はこのような従来の課題を解決するものであり、フィルターを取り外すことなくフィルター掃除ができ、常に清浄な状態での運転を可能にした空気調和機用フィルター除塵装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明は、フィルターに堆積した、ごみや埃をブラシでかき落とす機構を有した空調機用フィルターの除塵装置であり、前記機構によって人による掃除が不要となる。したがってフィルターを取り外す際に顔や身体に埃などが落ちてきたり、手が汚れたりして不衛生になることもなく、また水も使わない為、水を補給する手間もなく、水漏れで床を汚す心配もない。

【発明の実施の形態】
上記課題を解決する為の請求項1に記載の発明は、フィルターの前面に上下に移動するブラシを設置したものである。そしてこの構成によれば、上記フィルター表面にごみや埃が堆積すると上から下にブラシを移動させてごみや埃を除去回収し、除去回収したごみや埃は熱交換器の凝縮水用水受け皿に落下し、落下したごみや埃は熱交換器の凝縮水で屋外へ排出される。

また、ブラシはフィルターの下まで移動し、上へ戻る時にブラシに付着したごみや埃を完全に取り除く為、櫛がブラシのごみを掻き取る構造になっている。

請求項2に記載の発明は、ブラシがごみや埃を取りながら下へ移動する際、ごみや埃の回収効率を良くする為、ブラシを移動方向に対し鋭角になる様に取り付けられている。

請求項3に記載の発明は、移動するブラシにて除去回収したごみや埃を熱交換器の凝縮水用水受け皿に落下させず、脱着可能な専用の回収ボックスをフィルターの下に設置したものである。そしてこの構成によれば、ブラシで除去したごみや埃を一ヶ所に回収でき、溜まってからまとめて捨てることができる。

請求項4に記載の発明は、ブラシを回転させてフィルターに堆積したごみや埃の除去性能を向上するようにしたものであり、この時のブラシの回転方向は進行方向に対し逆方向に回転する事でごみや埃の除去効率を向上している。
