Claims (12)
- 遠隔地にある9μm周辺に集まるIR吸収帯を有する化学剤を検出するための閃光分光法による遠距離化学物質検出システムであって、当該システムが、
光源、
パラメトリック装置であって、当該パラメトリック装置の縮退点において前記光源からポンピング波を受信するように構成されたパラメトリック装置、
前記パラメトリック装置によって発生され、遠隔地に送波される、広帯域出力、
前記遠隔地から前記広帯域出力を受信し、吸収スペクトルをつくるように動作できる分光計、及び
既知の化学剤に対応する整合フィルタ、を有してなり、
前記広帯域出力がアイドラー波及び信号波を含み、当該アイドラー波及び当該信号波の内の1つの中心波長が約8μmから約12μmの間にあること、
前記分光計が、前記広帯域出力を受信し、前記広帯域出力が前記遠隔地から受信された後に前記広帯域出力を複数のサブバンドに分散させるように構成された光分散素子を有してなること、及び、
前記分光計が前記サブバンドを受信するように構成された検出器アレイを有してなり、前記検出器アレイが前記サブバンドから多重吸収スペクトルをつくるように動作できることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記広帯域出力は、半値全幅値が広帯域出力中心波長の約5%から約25%である帯域幅または線幅を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記広帯域出力は、半値全幅値が200cm−1より広い帯域幅または線幅を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポンピング波が前記広帯域出力中心波長の約1/2に等しい中心波長を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシステム。

- 前記光源が、4.5μmの波長を有するポンピング波を発生する量子多段ダイオードレーザおよびAlInAs/InGaAs量子多段ダイオードレーザからなる群より選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記パラメトリック装置が、ヒ化カドミウムゲルマニウム(CdGeAs2)、セレン化銀ガリウム(AgGaSe2)、および周期的双晶ヒ化ガリウム(PTGaAs)からなる群より選択される材料でつくられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記検出器アレイが量子井戸赤外光検出器(QWIP)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 遠隔地にある9μm周辺に集まるIR吸収帯を有する化学剤を検出するための遠距離化学物質検出方法であって、当該方法が、
縮退点に構成されたパラメトリック装置にポンピング波を供給する工程、
広帯域出力を発生させる工程、
前記遠隔地に前記広帯域出力を向ける工程、
前記遠隔地からの前記広帯域出力を検出する工程、及び
化学吸収スペクトルをつくる工程、
を有してなり、
前記検出する工程が、前記広帯域出力を2つまたはそれより多くのサブバンドに分散させる工程、前記2つまたはそれより多くのサブバンドのそれぞれの強度を検出する工程、及び、前記2つまたはそれより多くのサブバンドの前記強度を多重化する工程、を有してなり、
前記化学吸収スペクトルを1つまたはそれより多くの既知の化学剤の吸収スペクトルと比較する工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。
