Description
(2)この生ペレットが、当該ペレット内から発生する可燃性揮発分が発火しない程度の温度域で加熱される。この加熱は前記生ペレットに付着している水分を除去して図8に示す乾燥ペレット14を生成する。
(4)炉内上方に設置されたバーナー17での燃焼が前記ペレット層を輻射加熱して還元する。これにより、当該ペレット層の金属化が進む。
(6)前記還元鉄ペレット15の排出後直ちに前記装入装置19が次の乾燥ペレットを装入する。以上のプロセスの繰返しにより還元鉄が製造される(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
次に、本発明の実施の形態1により、還元鉄を製造する還元炉11(回転炉床炉)から排出される高温排ガスを冷却塔2により冷却処理する数値実験による実施例を、以下図5及び6を参照しながら説明する。図5は本発明の実施例に係り、高温排ガス処理システムの冷却塔の速度分布図であり、図(a)は図2の矢視C−Cを示す立断面における要部の速度ベクトルを示す速度分布図、図(b)は図2に示す立断面における要部の速度ベクトルを示す速度分布図である。また、図6は本発明の実施例に係り、高温排ガス処理システムの冷却塔の図2の矢視C−Cを示す立断面における温度分布図である。
煙道3a,3bの夫々一つの導入口6a,6bを経て冷却塔2へ導入するのに対し、本実施の形態2に係る高温排ガスの処理方法においては、前記煙道3aの導入口6aが2つの導入口6a1,6a2に、また前記煙道3bの導入口6bが2つの導入口6b1,6b2に分割され、前記高温排ガス5を、各煙道3a,3bを介して分割された前記導入口6a1,6a2及び6b1,6b2より冷却塔2に導入するものである。

Claims (5)
- ダストを含む高温排ガスを煙道を介して冷却塔に導入し、この冷却塔内で前記高温排ガスに冷却水を散水して冷却する高温排ガスの処理方法において、
前記冷却塔を平面視した際、前記煙道を2系統の煙道に分岐して、前記高温排ガスをこれら2系統の煙道から導入口を介して、夫々の流速及び流量が等しくなる様に前記冷却塔に導入すると共に、
これら2系統の煙道の軸心線を、前記冷却塔の上下方向に延びる軸心線に対し対向かつ直角方向になる様に導入することを特徴とする高温排ガスの処理方法。 - 前記高温排ガスを前記冷却塔の下部に配設された前記導入口から導入し、この冷却塔内で処理した後、前記冷却塔の上部に配設された排気口から排出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高温排ガスの処理方法。
- 前記高温排ガスを、2系統の煙道を介して前記冷却塔に導入する際、前記冷却塔の平面視において、前記各系統の煙道の導入口を複数の同一数に分割して導入することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の高温排ガスの処理方法。
- 前記冷却塔における冷却水の散水を、前記冷却塔の平面視において、この冷却塔の軸心線を中心として前記煙道の軸心線から周方向に45〜135度の範囲で行うことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のうちの何れか一つの項に記載の高温排ガスの処理方法。
- 前記高温排ガスが、還元鉄を製造する還元炉から排出されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のうちの何れか一つの項に記載の高温排ガスの処理方法。
