Description
Claims (9)
- 液滴を容れるための囲壁と、
前記囲壁内に配置された導電性液体の液滴と、
前記液滴の少なくとも2つの側で前記囲壁内に配置された複数の電極とを含み、
前記複数の電極は、該複数の電極に印加される少なくとも第1電圧に応答して、前記導電性液体の液滴の少なくとも第1表面の上に複数の液体レンズが形成されるように、前記液滴の幅にわたり部分的に延在するように配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 前記複数の電極の各電極が、前記複数の電極の他の電極から電気的に絶縁されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記複数の液体レンズが少なくとも第2電圧に応答して形成されるように、前記複数の電極が配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1電圧が前記第2電圧と同じであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 液滴を容れるための囲壁と、
前記囲壁内に配置された導電性液体の液滴と、
前記液滴の少なくとも2つの側で前記囲壁内に配置された複数の電極とを含み、
前記複数の電極は、該複数の電極に印加される少なくとも第1電圧に応答して、前記導電性液体の液滴の少なくとも第1表面の上に複数の液体レンズが形成されるように、前記液滴の幅にわたり部分的に延在するように配置されていることを特徴とする光学ビームスプリッタ。
- 前記複数の電極の各電極が、前記複数の電極の他の電極から電気的に絶縁されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光学ビームスプリッタ。
- 前記複数の液体レンズが少なくとも第2電圧に応答して形成されるように、前記複数の電極が配置されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光学ビームスプリッタ。
- 光ビームを分割する方法であって、前記方法が、
囲壁に収容された導電性液体の液滴の幅にわたり部分的に延在するように前記液滴の少なくとも2つの側で前記囲壁内に配置された複数の電極に少なくとも第1電圧を印加する工程であって、前記印加する工程は複数の液体レンズを前記導電性液体の液滴の少なくとも第1表面の上に形成する、工程と、
光ビームが前記複数の液体レンズ内の少なくとも1つのレンズに入射するように、前記光ビームを受ける工程とを含む方法。
- 第2電圧を前記複数の電極に印加する工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
