Description

The present invention relates to a cowl louver covering between a windshield and a hood panel.

Conventionally, in a cowl louver made of a resin molded product covering between the windshield and the hood panel, the louver main body is integrally formed with the front portion of the louver main body, the rear wall portion, the bottom wall portion, and the front wall portion. There is known a structure in which a front concave portion having a U-shaped cross section is provided integrally and continuously.
In this type of cowl louver, for example, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, between the front surface of the rear wall portion and the rear surface of the front wall portion, a plate shape that is integrally coupled to both surfaces and extends in the front-rear direction. There is a structure in which the reinforcing ribs are integrally formed.
JP 2005-289237 A

By the way, in the structure in which the plate-shaped reinforcing rib is integrally formed between the front surface of the rear wall portion and the rear surface of the front wall portion, the plate-shaped reinforcing rib is deformed by the shrinkage force of the resin molding. Cheap.
Therefore, a bead having left and right side plate portions and an upper plate portion projecting upward with a plate thickness equivalent to that of the rear wall portion and the front wall portion between the front surface of the rear wall portion and the rear surface of the front wall portion. It is known to integrally form a reinforcing convex portion having a shape (trapezoidal cross section).
As described above, by forming the bead-shaped reinforcing convex portion between the front surface of the rear wall portion and the rear surface of the front wall portion, the deformation of the reinforcing convex portion due to the shrinkage force of the resin molding is suppressed. Can do.
However, when the bead-shaped reinforcing convex portion is integrally formed between the front surface of the rear wall portion and the rear surface of the front wall portion, the rigidity becomes too high, and an external force (load) exceeding a predetermined value is applied to the hood panel. In addition, the deformation amount (stroke) of the front concave portion of the cowl louver may be reduced, and the shock absorption may be reduced.

In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to suppress deformation due to the shrinkage force of resin molding, and to increase the amount of deformation (stroke) when an external force greater than a predetermined value acts on the hood panel. It is to provide a cowl louver that can increase absorbency.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a cowl louver according to claim 1 of the present invention is formed integrally with a louver main body, a front portion of the louver main body, and a rear wall portion, a bottom wall portion, and a front wall portion. It is a cowl louver made of a resin molded product that has a front concave portion having a U-shaped cross section and integrally covers the space between the windshield and the hood panel,
While the rear wall portion of the bottom wall portion is fixed to the vehicle body panel, a seal member that is elastically in close contact with the lower surface of the hood panel is attached to the upper portion of the front wall portion,
Left and right side plate portions and an upper plate portion projecting upward with a plate thickness equivalent to that of the front wall portion and the bottom wall portion are provided in a portion extending from the rear surface of the front wall portion to the bottom surface of the bottom wall portion. The reinforcing convex part having is integrally molded,
Wherein between the upper plate upper surface of the reinforcing protrusion and the front face of the rear wall, extending Beauty, and reinforcing ribs which form a plate-like across said both sides are coupled to respective one body thereto both sides in the front-rear direction Is integrally molded,
There is a large or small difference between the coupling area of the reinforcing rib with the reinforcing convex portion and the coupling area with the rear wall portion,
When an external force of a predetermined value or more is applied to the hood panel, the front wall portion and the bottom wall portion are deformed downward with the fixing portion of the vehicle body panel as a fulcrum while breaking the reinforcing rib at a portion having a small coupling area. It is configured to be possible.

According to the above configuration, in the front concave portion of the cowl louver, the bead-shaped reinforcing convex portion integrally formed on the portion extending from the rear surface of the front wall portion to the bottom surface of the bottom wall portion, and the upper surface and the rear surface of the upper plate portion of the reinforcing convex portion The front concave portion of the cowl louver can be favorably reinforced by the plate-like reinforcing rib formed integrally with the front surface of the wall portion. For this reason, compared with the case where it reinforces only with a plate-shaped reinforcement rib, rigidity becomes high and can suppress the deformation | transformation of the reinforcement rib by the shrinkage force of resin molding favorably.
Further, when an external force of a predetermined value or more is applied to the hood panel, the front wall portion and the bottom wall portion are deformed downward with the fixing portion of the vehicle body panel as a fulcrum while breaking the reinforcing rib at a portion having a small coupling area. As a result, the amount of deformation is increased and the shock absorption can be improved.

The cowl louver according to claim 2 is the cowl louver according to claim 1,
The reinforcing rib is set such that the coupling area with the rear wall portion is smaller than the coupling area with the reinforcing convex portion,
When an external force of a predetermined value or more to the hood panel is applied, characterized in that the reinforcing ribs are a configuration that is broken at the bonded portion between the rear wall portion.

According to the above configuration, when an external force of a predetermined value or more is applied to the hood panel, the front wall and the bottom wall are fixed to the body panel while the reinforcing rib is broken at the joint with the rear wall having a small coupling area. As a fulcrum is deformed downward, the amount of deformation is increased and the shock absorption can be improved.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described in accordance with an embodiment.

[Example 1]
A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
1 is a side sectional view showing a cowl louver according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view based on the line II-II in FIG. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a front concave portion of the cowl louver. It is explanatory drawing which shows the state deform | transformed below as.

As shown in FIG. 1, the cowl louver 10 according to the first embodiment covers a space between the windshield 1 and the hood panel 2, and is formed of a resin molded product integrally formed by injection molding of a synthetic resin material. A louver main body 11 on the windshield 1 side and a front concave portion 12 formed integrally with the front portion of the louver main body 11 are provided.
A sealing member 16 made of an elastic material such as soft resin or rubber is attached to the rear end edge of the louver main body 11, and the sealing member 16 is elastically pressed and brought into close contact with the front surface of the windshield 1. A seal lip 17 is extended.

The front concave portion 12 includes a rear wall portion 13 that extends downward from the front edge of the louver body 11, a bottom wall portion 14 that projects from the lower end of the rear wall portion 13 toward the front side, and the bottom wall portion A front wall portion 15 extending in a slanting shape from the front end of 14 in a front-upper direction has an integrally continuous shape and has a U-shaped cross section.
The front concave portion 12 is fixed to the upper surface of the front edge portion 4 of the cowl panel (vehicle body panel) 3 by a fixing means 5 such as a clip at a portion closer to the rear wall portion 13 of the bottom wall portion 14.
Further, a support piece 16 projects from the upper edge portion of the front wall portion 15 toward the front. On this support piece 16, a soft resin or rubber that is elastically in close contact with the lower surface of the hood panel 2 is provided. A seal member 30 having a hollow cross-section seal portion 31 made of an elastic body or the like is integrally mounted.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, in the front recess 12, a portion extending from the rear surface of the front wall portion 15 to the bottom surface (upper surface) of the bottom wall portion 14 is substantially the same as the front wall portion 15 and the bottom wall portion 14. The reinforcing convex part 20 having a trapezoidal cross-sectional shape having left and right side plate parts 21 of a triangular side face projecting upward with an equivalent plate thickness and an upper plate part 22 forming a flat surface is integrally formed. Has been.
Further, between the rear portion of the upper surface of the upper plate portion 22 of the reinforcing convex portion 20 and the lower portion of the front surface of the rear wall portion 13, a plate-like triangular shape that is integrally coupled to both surfaces and extends in the front-rear direction. A reinforcing rib 25 is integrally formed.
The reinforcing rib 25 has a large or small difference between the coupling area with the reinforcing convex portion 20 and the coupling area with the rear wall portion 13.

In the first embodiment, the reinforcing rib 25 is set such that the area of coupling with the rear wall portion 13 is smaller than the area of coupling with the reinforcing convex portion 20. When an external force of a predetermined value or more (for example, a load when a collision object collides) is applied to the hood panel 2, the front wall portion 15 is broken while the reinforcing rib 25 is broken at the joint portion 25 a with the rear wall portion 13. The bottom wall portion 14 is configured to be deformable downward with the fixing portion (fixing means 5) of the front edge portion 4 of the cowl panel 3 as a fulcrum.
A plurality of reinforcing convex portions 20 and reinforcing ribs 25 are provided at predetermined intervals in the vehicle width direction of the front concave portion 12.

The cowl louver according to the first embodiment is configured as described above.
Therefore, in the front concave portion 12 of the cowl louver 10, a reinforcing convex portion 20 having a bead shape (a trapezoidal cross section in the first embodiment) integrally formed in a portion extending from the rear surface of the front wall portion 15 to the bottom surface of the bottom wall portion 14; The front concave portion 12 of the cowl louver 10 is well reinforced by the plate-shaped reinforcing rib 25 integrally formed between the upper surface of the upper plate portion 22 of the reinforcing convex portion 20 and the front surface of the rear wall portion 13. Can do.
For this reason, compared with the case where it reinforces only with the conventional plate-shaped reinforcement rib, rigidity becomes high and the deformation | transformation of the reinforcement rib 25 by the shrinkage force of resin molding can be suppressed favorably.
That is, the plate-like reinforcing rib 25 between the upper surface of the upper plate portion 22 of the reinforcing convex portion 20 and the front surface of the rear wall portion 13 is a plate-like reinforcement extending between the conventional rear wall portion and the front wall portion. It can be made shorter than the rib length. As a result, the rigidity of the plate-like reinforcing ribs 25 can be improved satisfactorily, and the deformation of the plate-like reinforcing ribs 25 due to the shrinkage force of resin molding can be suppressed.

When an external force (for example, a load when the colliding object 40 shown in FIG. 4 collides) acts on the hood panel 2, as shown in FIG. 4, the reinforcing ribs in the front concave portion 12 of the cowl louver 10. 25, the front wall portion 15 and the bottom wall portion 14 are deformed downward with a fixing portion with respect to the front edge portion 4 of the cowl panel 3 as a fulcrum while breaking at a connecting portion 25a with the rear wall portion 13 having a small connecting area.
As a result, the amount of deformation of the front wall portion 15 and the bottom wall portion 14 is increased, and the shock absorption can be improved.

[Example 2]
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing a modified example of the plate-like reinforcing rib in the front concave portion of the cowl louver according to the second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 shows that the front wall portion and the bottom wall portion fix the fixing portion of the vehicle body panel while the reinforcing rib is broken at the connecting portion with the reinforcing convex portion having a small connecting area when an external force exceeding a predetermined value is applied to the hood panel. It is explanatory drawing which shows the state deform | transformed below as a fulcrum.

As shown in FIG. 5, in the joint portion of the reinforcing rib 125, the joint area with the upper plate portion 22 of the reinforcing convex portion 20 is set smaller than the joint area with the rear wall portion 13. When an external force greater than a predetermined value (for example, a load when a collision object collides) is applied to the hood panel 2, the reinforcing rib 125 has the upper plate portion 22 of the reinforcing convex portion 20 as shown in FIG. 6. The front wall portion 15 and the bottom wall portion 14 are deformed downward with the fixing portion of the front edge portion 4 of the cowl panel 3 as a fulcrum while being broken at the connecting portion 125b.
Since the other structure of this Example 2 is comprised similarly to Example 1, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected with respect to the same component, and the description is abbreviate | omitted.
Therefore, this second embodiment also has the same effects as the first embodiment.

In addition, this invention is not limited to the said Example 1 and 2, In the range which does not deviate from the summary of this invention, it can also be implemented with a various form.
