Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rudder angle sensor that detects a rotation angle of a main drive gear (steering shaft) mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile.
However, in the conventional sensor provided with the ferromagnetic material, the number of parts is surely increased by that much. Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a more accurate rudder angle sensor that has as few parts as possible and is not affected by the magnetic flux between adjacent detection means.
The inventor who has advanced the development in order to solve the above-described problems is a potentiometer that can output a fine signal that requires accuracy by magnetic detection and a coarse signal that can be monotonously increased or decreased within the entire rotation range. And further combining the two data, the idea that a more accurate steering angle sensor that is not affected by the magnetism of the magnet can be provided. The present invention has been made from the above viewpoint. The detailed contents of the configuration will be described in the following section. It should be noted that the definitions of terms used in the description of the invention according to any claim shall be applied to the inventions according to other claims to the extent possible in nature.
(Characteristics of the invention of claim 1)
A steering angle sensor according to the first aspect of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as “the steering angle sensor of the first aspect” as appropriate) is a steering angle sensor that is attached to a steering shaft and measures the absolute angle of the steering shaft. Specifically, a main driving gear that rotates reversibly in conjunction with the steering shaft, a first detection means that detects a rotation angle of a fine signal gear that rotates in conjunction with the main driving gear, and a main gear that operates in conjunction with the main driving gear. Second detecting means for detecting the rotation angle of the coarse signal gear that rotates. The first detection means includes a Hall element and a magnet that outputs a fine signal indicating the detected rotation angle of the fine signal gear, and the second detection means is for detecting the detected coarse signal. A potentiometer that outputs a coarse signal indicating the rotation angle of the gear is included . Here, the fine signal gear rotates at a speed higher than that of the main driving gear, and the coarse signal gear rotates at a reduced speed relative to the main driving gear, whereby the first detection means and the second detection gear are rotated. An arithmetic mechanism for calculating an absolute angle is further included from two of the means. Here, the calculation mechanism further assumes that the rotation angle of the fine signal gear is θb, the rotation angle of the main drive gear converted from the coarse signal is θc, the gear ratio of the main drive gear and the fine signal gear is m, and [θc− When an integer that minimizes the absolute value of {θb / m ± (360 / m) × n} is n, the absolute angle θa is θa = θb / m ± (360 / m) × n It is characterized by being given .
According to the steering angle sensor of the first aspect, the first detection means is a magnetic detection type including a Hall element that outputs a fine signal and a magnet, while the second detection means includes a potentiometer that outputs a coarse signal. Does not include magnets. Since the second detection means does not use a magnet, it is not disturbed by the magnetic field generated by the first detection means. That is, the second detection means is not affected by the magnetic flux generated by the first detection means, and further, the first detection means is not affected by the second detection means where no magnetic flux is generated, and the rotational angle detection accuracy is reduced. Absent. Therefore, it is possible to provide a steering angle sensor with higher accuracy that is not affected by the magnetic flux between adjacent detection means with as few parts as possible. Since the first detection means and the second detection means do not interfere with each other, a member that shields magnetism is not necessary. Furthermore, an accurate fine signal repeatedly output at a predetermined angle and a coarse signal output by a potentiometer that monotonously increases or decreases in the entire steering angle region can be obtained, and an absolute angle can be easily calculated by a combination of the fine signal and the coarse signal. Therefore, a highly accurate rudder angle sensor can be provided. In addition to these, the calculation mechanism employs the calculation means, thereby having the effect that the absolute angle can be calculated easily and accurately.

According to the rudder angle sensor of claim 2, in addition to the effects of the steering angle sensor according to
According to the rudder angle sensor according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a rudder angle sensor with higher precision that is not affected by the magnetic flux between adjacent detection means with as few parts as possible.

(Schematic structure of rudder angle sensor)
The schematic structure of the rudder angle sensor will be described with reference to FIGS. The

The driven gear and the first detection means will be described with reference to FIGS. The driven

The
The second detection means 45 includes a
The
The procedure for determining the current absolute angle of the steering shaft from the relationship between the fine signal and the coarse signal will be described with a specific example. As a premise, first, the fine signal gear rotates at a gear ratio of 2: 1 with respect to the main driving gear that rotates reversibly by rotating the steering shaft. Furthermore, it is assumed that the coarse signal gear performs a reduced rotation of less than one rotation for the entire rotation range (+790 degrees to -790 degrees) of the main driving gear that rotates reversibly by rotating the steering shaft.
For example, the measurement value of the fine signal at a certain rotational position of the
As described above, the data processing of the coarse signal is not as accurate as the fine signal data by measuring the output voltage from the
The procedure for determining the absolute angle θa of the steering shaft is calculated as follows. That is, in the calculation in the MPU, the rotation angle of the fine signal gear based on the fine signal output is θb, the rotation angle of the main drive gear converted from the coarse signal output is θc, and the gear ratio of the main drive gear and the fine signal gear is m. When an integer n that minimizes the absolute value of [θc− {θb / m ± (360 / m) × n}] is obtained, the absolute angle θa is θa = θb / m ± It can be calculated from (360 / m) × n. For example, consider the case where the rotation angle of the fine signal gear based on the output value of the fine signal is 123 ° and the rotation angle of the main gear converted from the output value of the coarse signal is 420 °. When applied to the above formula, an assignment formula of [420 ° − {123 ° / 2 ± (360/2) × n}] is obtained. Here, since θa = 123 ° / 2 ± (360/2) × n, if θa finds n closest to 420 °, θa at that time becomes the absolute angle to be obtained, and n / m is the steering
Similarly, when the rotation angle of the fine signal gear based on the output value of the fine signal is 23 ° and the rotation angle of the main gear converted from the output value of the coarse signal is 12 °, ω = 12− (11.5 + 180 From xn), n which minimizes the absolute value of ω is n = 0. It can be seen that the absolute angle θa at that time is θa = 11.5 °. It can be seen that the
As another example, when the rotation angle of the fine signal gear based on the output value of the fine signal is 37 ° and the rotation angle of the main gear converted from the output value of the coarse signal is −162, θa = 18 N = 1 is obtained from 5 ° -180 ° × n. The absolute angle θa is θa = −161.5 °. Since n / m = 0.5, it can be seen that the actual absolute angle θa of the
(Measurement of absolute angle of steering shaft)
With reference to FIG. 9, a flow for measuring the steering shaft rotation angle (absolute angle) of the
The
すなわち、MPU39は、微信号処理系(粗信号処理系)として、オーバーサンプリング部39−3a(オーバーサンプリング部39−3b)と、平均角度算出処理部39−4a(平均角度算出処理部39−4b)と、異常データ検出部39−5a(異常データ検出部39−5b)と、異常データ排除部39−6a(異常データ排除部39−6b)と、補間処理部39−7a(補間処理部39−7b)と、補間済み微信号出力部39−8a(補間済み粗信号処理部39−8b)と、を備えている。
That is, the
Oversampling section 39-3a, for fine signals obtained from the angular compounding unit 37-2, as shown in FIG. 10, between times t n -1~t n, usually one measurement (t n on axis "△" When obtaining the single measurement) data at the position, eight measurements in the "○" position between normally 8 measurements (t n -1~t n, obtains the 8 times oversampling) data , It has a function to acquire excess measurement data (fine signal excess measurement data). As described above, the oversampling in this embodiment is set to 8 times the normal sampling. This setting is obtained as a result of repeated evaluation experiments, and does not preclude changing the setting as necessary. Note that by performing the same processing in between times t n ~t n +1.
The average angle calculation processing unit 39-4a has a function of calculating the average angle Xm from the fine signal measurement data obtained from the oversampling unit 39-3a. The abnormal data detection unit 39-5a has a function of detecting abnormal data that deviates from a predetermined range in the average angle Xm of the fine signal measurement data. The abnormal data exclusion unit 39-6a has a function of eliminating abnormal data detected by the abnormal data detection unit 39-5a. The interpolation processing unit 39-7a has a function of interpolating data selected instead of abnormal data from measurement data and excess measurement data. The interpolated fine signal output unit 39-8a has a function of outputting the interpolated fine signal.
The abnormal data detection unit 39-5a receives a sampling curve (FIG. 10) made up of actually measured values of the detection signal, and detects abnormal data for each of the coarse signal and the fine signal. FIG. 11 shows a sampling curve when the measured data deviates from the range (predetermined range) of the upper limit Xm + ε and the lower limit Xm−ε of the average value Xm. As a result, the protruding portion of the sampling curve is detected by the abnormal data detection unit 39-5a, and the detected abnormal data is eliminated by the abnormal data exclusion unit 39-6a. Although the configuration of the fine signal processing system is as described above, the fine signal processing system and the coarse signal processing system basically have the same function regardless of the difference between the fine signal and the coarse signal. This point is as described above. Therefore, the description of the fine signal processing system corresponds to the coarse signal processing system as it is by using a coarse signal instead of the fine signal.
The interpolation processing units 39-7a and 39-7b select a predetermined data string based on the measurement data immediately before or after the excluded abnormal data, for example, instead of the abnormal data excluded from the measurement data, Find the average value of the data column. This is because the effect of oversampling can be maximized by supplementing the amount lost by the exclusion with the average value.
Further, an interpolation method different from the above interpolation method is based on average data. That is, when the measured value of the abnormal data deviates from the upper limit Xm + ε and the lower limit Xm−ε of the predetermined range, the interpolation processing unit 39-7a (interpolation processing unit 39-7b) It is possible to simply calculate and average the average value of ti-1 and ti + 1 immediately after (ti-1 data + immediately subsequent ti + 1 data) / 2. In this way, the prediction function of the prediction value (a linear function of y = ax + b (a and b are constants, the horizontal axis x is time, the vertical axis y is an angle)) interpolates the sampling curve, and as a result, High precision data will be measured.
The absolute angle calculation conversion unit 39-9 calculates the interpolated fine signal output from the interpolated fine signal output unit 39-8a and the interpolated coarse signal output from the interpolated coarse signal output unit 39-8b. It has a function of calculating the absolute angle of the steering shaft based on the result. That is, both the interpolated fine signal and the interpolated coarse signal are input to the absolute angle calculation conversion unit 39-9, where both signals are converted into the absolute angle of the steering shaft. The calculated steering shaft rotation angle is sent to the
The rudder angle sensor in the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above-described examples, and various modifications and corrections are conceivable. For example, when the measurement data is interpolated, the prediction function of the predicted value is not limited to being approximated by a straight line of a linear function, and the prediction function may be interpolated by approximating a quadratic or higher-order polynomial curve. In this case, it is useful when the number of abnormal data is large, and high accuracy is achieved by obtaining a prediction function (approximation function) of an expected value and obtaining an interpolated sampling curve by the least square method or spline approximation. It is also possible.
