Claims (3)
- 燃焼室(9)内に任意の量の燃料を供給する燃料噴射機構(18)と、前記燃焼室(9)内における既燃ガスおよび混合気の割合を可変させる可変バルブ機構(14,15,16,17)とを有し、前記燃料を圧縮自己着火燃焼させる圧縮自己着火内燃機関において、
前記燃焼室(9)における燃焼開始温度と燃焼後のピーク温度との偏差を算出し、
前記偏差が目標値より大きい場合は、排気工程と吸気工程の間の圧縮上死点近傍において前記可変バルブ機構(14,15,16,17)の吸気バルブ(14)および排気バルブ(15)が両方とも閉じるクランクシャフト(8)の角度範囲である負のオーバーラップ量を増加させ、前記偏差が前記目標値より小さい場合は、前記負のオーバーラップ量を減少させることにより、前記偏差を所定の範囲内に収束させるように制御する圧縮自己着火内燃機関の制御方法。 - 前記既燃ガスが前記燃焼室(9)内の全ガス量に対して占める割合であるEGR率と空燃比から前記偏差を算出することにより、前記偏差を前記EGR率で代替する請求項1に記載の圧縮自己着火内燃機関の制御方法。
- 前記EGR率を、燃料噴射量、空燃比、吸気温度、排気温度、筒内圧力、および、機関諸元から算出するように構成された請求項2に記載の圧縮自己着火内燃機関の制御方法。
