しかし、シュートシャワーを設けるために設備コストが上昇すると共に、多量の水を消費するため、運転コストも上昇する問題点がある。
そこで、本発明の目的は、スカムがスカムボックスの内面に固着するのを抑制できると共に設備コストや運転コストの上昇も回避することが出来る沈殿装置を提供することにある。
