- 光沢差のある画像をシミュレートするシステムであって、
関連するメモリに記憶されている命令を実行するプレビュー画像ジェネレータを備え、
該プレビュー画像ジェネレータが、
背景画像および光沢効果画像を読み取り、
前記背景画像を印刷するときに光沢差画像を生成するために、前記光沢効果画像が、第1および第2のハーフトーンの前記背景画像に対する選択的適用を制御するように構成されており、
中間階調グレーレベルの領域が強調された前記背景画像にもとづいてマスクを形成し、
フィルタリング済みの光沢効果画像を形成するために、前記光沢効果画像に対してエッジ効果フィルタを適用し、
背景が修正されたフィルタリング済み効果光沢画像を生成するために、前記マスクを前記フィルタリング済み光沢効果画像に適用し、
前記光沢差画像の表示を生成するために、前記背景修正済みのフィルタリング済み光沢効果画像を前記背景画像に適用する、
システム。 - 光沢差のある画像をシミュレートする方法であって、
プレビュー画像ジェネレータによって背景画像を提供し、
中間階調グレーレベルの領域を強調する背景画像にもとづいてマスクを形成し、
2つの異なるハーフトーン構造体がバイナリ光沢効果画像にしたがって適用される場合、前記背景画像に光沢差のある透かしを提供するように構成されている該バイナリ光沢効果画像を提供し、
背景修正された光沢効果画像を形成するために前記バイナリ光沢効果画像から取得される画像データに前記マスクを適用し、
前記プレビュー画像ジェネレータによって、前記2つの異なるハーフトーン構造体が前記バイナリ光沢効果画像にしたがって適用される場合、生成される光沢差のある画像をシミュレートするために前記背景画像に背景修正された光沢効果画像を適用し、
シミュレーションによって、ハーフトーン構造体が適用されるならば、光沢差が異なる透かしが他の領域よりさらに明瞭に描写される背景画像の領域を視覚により識別することができる、
方法。 - 光沢差のある画像をシミュレートする方法であって、
プレビュー画像ジェネレータによって背景画像を提供し、
光沢効果画像を提供し、
前記背景画像を印刷したときに光沢差画像を生成するために、第1および第2のハーフトーンの前記背景画像に対する選択的適用を制御するように、前記光沢効果画像が構成されており、
前記プレビュー画像ジェネレータによって、中間階調グレーレベルの領域が強調された前記背景画像にもとづいてマスクを形成し、
抑制済みの光沢効果画像を形成するために前記光沢効果画像を抑制し、
背景が修正された抑制済み光沢効果画像を生成するために、前記マスクを前記抑制済み光沢効果画像に適用し、
前記光沢差画像の表示を生成するために、前記背景修正済みの抑制済み光沢効果画像を前記背景画像に適用する、
方法。 - 前記マスクを形成することは、前記背景画像から取得される画像データに対して階調再現曲線を適用することを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
