中心導体の外径の限界は、言い換えれば、46AWG(American Wire Gauge:アメリカ式針金ゲージ)サイズである。
(PFA:Copolymer of Tetrafluoroethylene and Perfluoroalkoxy)、エチレン・四フッ化エチレン共重合体(ETFE:Copolymer of Ethylene and Tetrafluoroethylene)などが挙げられる。
【0019】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an ultrafine coaxial cable used for a medical device cable or the like, and in particular, a single copper alloy wire is used as a central conductor, and its plating thickness is adjusted to provide electrical characteristics, bending characteristics, and terminal soldering. The present invention relates to a superfine coaxial cable that improves the performance.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Along with the miniaturization of medical equipment, electronic equipment, and IC testers, the cables used for them are also becoming thinner. In particular, for an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus cable in which hundreds of ultrafine coaxial cables having an outer diameter of several tens of μm are combined, a cable having an outer diameter equivalent to that of a conventional cable and an increased number of cores is required.
[0003]
As a central conductor of a conventional ultrafine coaxial cable, a conductor obtained by combining seven copper alloy wires (for example, Cu-0.3 mass% Sn alloy wire) having a wire diameter of 30 μm is widely used. The center conductor is plated with tin or silver in order to improve terminal solderability.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As in the case of a conventional ultra-fine cable, the limit of diameter reduction when using a wire with a center conductor is a center conductor having an outer diameter of about 46 μm, which is a combination of seven strands having a wire diameter of 16 μm. In other words, the limit of the outer diameter of the center conductor is 46 AWG (American Wire Gauge) size. If the central conductor is composed of a single wire, the diameter can be further reduced and the productivity is greatly improved.
[0005]
However, when a single wire is used for the central conductor, there is a problem that the bending characteristics are deteriorated, and it must be carefully handled for use in the movable part wiring.
[0006]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an ultrafine coaxial cable that uses a single wire as a central conductor and has good electrical characteristics, bending characteristics, and terminal solderability.
[0007]

The present invention was devised to achieve the above object, and the invention of

For the single copper alloy wire 2, for example, a wire having a tensile strength of 1000 MPa or more is used in consideration of bending characteristics. This is because the bending property is better as the tensile strength is larger in a region where the bending strain is small. This is because if the tensile strength is less than 1000 MPa, the superior difference from the conventionally used Cu-0.3 mass% Sn alloy wire does not appear clearly. The single copper alloy wire 2 that satisfies this requirement is preferably a fiber reinforced copper alloy that is a high-strength, high-conductivity material. Specifically, a Cu-xmass% Ag alloy, a Cu-xmass% Nb alloy, a Cu-xmass% Cr alloy, a Cu-xmass% Fe alloy (x = 5-20), etc. are mentioned.

A feature of the reference form of the present invention is that a single copper alloy wire is used as a central conductor to further reduce the diameter of the cable, and a plating layer having a thickness of 1 μm or more is formed on the outer periphery of the single alloy wire. This means that the electrical characteristics, bending characteristics, and terminal solderability of the cable have been improved.

In the bending test, a load of 50 gf was applied to the cable end, a bending test was performed at 90 degrees left and right under conditions of bending r = 2 mm and speed 30 cycles / min, and the number of times until the central conductor broke was evaluated.

On the other hand, the cables of Comparative Examples 1 to 3 have a shorter bending life and a worse bending characteristic as the silver plating thickness is reduced. Thereby, it turns out that a bending characteristic becomes favorable, so that silver plating thickness is thick. Also, in the case of a wire, like a cable, the bending characteristics become better as the silver plating thickness increases.
[0042]
For solderability, the jacket, outer shield, and insulator of the cable end are removed to expose the central conductor, and the exposed central conductor is immersed in a solder bath heated to 210 ° C. for 5 seconds, and then the outer appearance of the central conductor. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) observation was performed to determine whether the solder was wet. That is, it was determined whether or not the solder was well adapted to the surface of the central conductor, was uniform, had no irregularities, and spread smoothly.

Table 1 shows the results of comprehensive evaluation of the electrical characteristics, bending characteristics, and terminal solderability described above. Next, the implementation of the embodiment of the present invention.
[0056]
In the above-described reference embodiment, the example of the ultrafine coaxial cable in which the core whose outer periphery of the central conductor is covered with the insulator is described as one core. However, the ultrafine coaxial cable is not limited to the single core, and has two cores. Also included are two-core parallel micro coaxial cables in which the cores are arranged in parallel. An example of a two-core parallel micro coaxial cable to which the present invention is applied will be described below.
