どの多様な用途に使用されている。
本発明の他の目的は、軽量の人造大理石を提供することにある。
本発明の更に他の目的は、捨てられているおがくずをリサイクルできる人造大理石の製造方法を提供することにある。
本発明の更に他の目的は、接着剤を使用することなく合板のような感じの層を一体に形成した人造大理石の製造方法を提供することにある。
性組成物を硬化して形成される第2の層からなり、前記第2の層は第1の層に積層されて一体に形成されることを特徴とする。
本発明の更に他の具体例では、前記アクリル系樹脂がアクリル系単量体とポリアクリレートとの混合物であることを特徴とする。
本発明の人造大理石の製造方法は、硬化性組成物を部分硬化させて第1の層を形成し、前記第1の層の上におがくずの含有された重合性組成物を注いで第1の層の表面に積層される第2の層を形成し、前記積層された第1および第2の層を硬化させる段階からなる。
本発明の更に他の具体例において、前記ポリマーはアクリル系樹脂である。
本発明の更に他の具体例において、前記重合性組成物は、アクリル樹脂100質量部、おがくず5ないし160質量部、無機充填物5ないし80質量部、及び開始剤0.1ないし10質量部からなる。
本発明の人造大理石は、第1の層及び第2の層が積層されて2つの層が一体に形成されており、前記第1の層は通常の人造大理石からなり、前記第2の層はおがくずの含有された重合性組成物を硬化して形成されるものである。
前記アクリル系樹脂は、アクリル単量体の含量が約65質量%以上であり、ポリアクリレート含量が約35質量%以下であることが好ましい。
前記無機充填物は、炭酸カルシウム、水酸化アルミニウム、シリカ、アルミナ、水酸化マグネシウムのように通常的に用いられる無機粉末のうち、いずれも使用可能であり、特に水酸化アルミニウムが、製品の優雅な外観を考慮して最も好ましい。
本発明の第1の層を構成する人造大理石は、この技術分野でよく知られている通常の人造大理石用硬化性組成物から製造されることができる。前記硬化性組成物は、少なくとも一つのポリマーからなるマトリックス及び無機充填物からなることができる。前記ポリマーは、アクリル系樹脂または不飽和ポリエステル系樹脂であり、好ましくはアクリル系樹脂である。前記硬化性組成物は、さらに、多様な柄を具現するためにマーブルチップを含むことができる。
硬化性組成物を部分硬化させて第1の層を形成し、前記第1の層の上に、おがくずの含有された重合性組成物を注いで第2の層を形成する。前記第1の層及び第2の層は、2つの層が積層される構造を有し、前記積層された2つの層を共に硬化させる。
本発明では、前記第2の層を構成する重合性組成物を選択的に発泡させることができる。すなわち、重合性組成物を第1の層の上に注いだ後、アクリル系単量体自体の発熱重合反応により発泡させた上で、硬化させる。
本発明は下記の実施例によって更に容易に理解することができ、下記の実施例は本発明の例示のためのものであり、添付された特許請求の範囲により限定される保護範囲を制限するものではない。下記実施例では、すべての部および%は、特に断わりのない限り質量基準である。
Claims (13)
- 人造大理石からなる第1の層;及び
アクリル系樹脂100質量部、おがくずと無機充填物との混合物10ないし240質量部を含む、重合性組成物を硬化させて形成された第2の層;
からなり、前記第2の層は第1の層に積層されて一体に形成されることを特徴とする人造大理石。 - 前記重合性組成物が、開始剤0.1ないし10質量部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記おがくずと無機充填物との混合物は、おがくず5ないし160質量部及び無機充填物5ないし80質量部からなることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記アクリル系樹脂は、アクリル系単量体とポリアクリレートとの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記無機充填物は、炭酸カルシウム、水酸化アルミニウム、シリカ、アルミナ、水酸化マグネシウムおよびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記重合性組成物は、流動度が13ないし20cm/minであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の人造大理石。
- 硬化性組成物を部分硬化させて第1の層を形成し;
前記第1の層の上に、アクリル系樹脂100質量部、おがくずと無機充填物との混合物10ないし240質量部を含む重合性組成物を注いで、第1の層の表面に積層された第2の層を形成し;そして
前記積層された第1及び第2の層を硬化させる;
段階からなることを特徴とする人造大理石の製造方法。 - 前記硬化性組成物は、少なくとも一つのポリマーからなるマトリックス及び無機充填物からなることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、アクリル系樹脂であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
- 前記硬化性組成物は、さらに、マーブルチップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項7〜9のいずれか1項に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
- 前記重合性組成物は、アクリル樹脂100質量部、おがくず5ないし160質量部、無機充填物5ないし80質量部、及び開始剤0.1ないし10質量部からなることを特徴とする、請求項7〜10のいずれか1項に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
- 前記重合性組成物は、流動度が13ないし20cm/minであることを特徴とする、請求項7〜11のいずれか1項に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
- 前記重合組成物を発泡させた上で、硬化させることを特徴とする、請求項7〜12のいずれか1項に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
