Description
The present invention relates to a method for assembling a continuously variable transmission, and in particular, a continuously variable transmission in which a support member constituting a side wall of a hydraulic chamber is fitted into a driven shaft by inlay fitting, and the support member is prevented from dropping from the driven shaft during assembly. It is related with the assembly method of.
In general, in a belt-type continuously variable transmission, power input from an engine is transmitted to an input shaft via a torque converter, and is transmitted from the input shaft to a differential device via a drive pulley, a V-belt, and a driven pulley. Is driven. A hydraulic chamber incorporating a return spring is provided on the back surface of the driven pulley movable sheave, and a support member that constitutes one side wall of the hydraulic chamber is inlay-fitted to the driven shaft of the driven pulley. And the output gear, bearing, etc. which were fitted to the driven shaft are fastened with a fastening member, so that the back surface of the inner peripheral portion of the support member is pressed and fixed so that the spigot fitting of the support member is not removed.

By the way, in order to obtain a large reduction ratio, an
The same problem occurs not only when the
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to attach an output gear and a bearing to one end of the driven shaft and support the support member fitted in the driven shaft to the driven shaft via these output gears. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for assembling a continuously variable transmission that prevents the disengagement and is excellent in assembly.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention comprises a hydraulic chamber provided on the back surface of a movable sheave of a driven pulley and having a return spring therein, supporting one end of the return spring and forming one side wall of the hydraulic chamber, A support member that is inlay-fitted to the driven shaft of the driven pulley and a spline fit to the driven shaft to support the back surface of the inner peripheral portion of the support member, and an output gear is formed on the outer peripheral portion. A cylindrical gear sleeve, a bearing attached to the outer periphery of the outer end of the gear sleeve or a driven shaft closer to the shaft end than the gear sleeve, and having an outer diameter larger than the root diameter of the output gear; and the driven A tightening member that is screwed to the shaft end of the shaft and presses and supports the support member via the gear sleeve, and a ring gear or a lead of a differential device that meshes with the output gear. And Shongiya, a method of assembling a continuously variable transmission provided with a step of fitting spigot an inner peripheral portion of the support member via a return spring to the driven shaft, of the support member to the driven shaft A step of temporarily fixing a cylindrical temporary fixing member that presses and supports the rear surface of the peripheral portion, and a transmission case having a support wall portion are inserted through a driven shaft on which the temporary fixing member is temporarily fixed, and the support wall portion is A step of bringing the support member close to the back surface, the step of reducing an axial clearance between the support wall portion and the support member to be smaller than an axial fitting length of the spigot fitting portion; and the transmission case with the differential A step of incorporating the ring gear or reduction gear of the device, a step of removing the temporary fixing member from the driven shaft, and a spline fitting of the gear sleeve having the bearing attached to the driven shaft Or after the gear sleeve is spline-fitted, the bearing is fitted to the driven shaft, and the output gear is engaged with the ring gear or the reduction gear of the differential device, and the end of the driven shaft. And a step of pressing and supporting the back surface of the inner peripheral portion of the support member via the gear sleeve. The assembly method of the continuously variable transmission is provided.
When the support member that supports the return spring is fitted in the driven shaft with an inlay, and the back surface of the support member is pressed and fixed by the tightening member via the gear sleeve, the outside of the bearing provided adjacent to the output gear of the gear sleeve When the diameter is smaller than the diameter, the bearing becomes an obstacle when the ring gear or the reduction gear of the differential device is assembled to the transmission case, and the ring gear or the reduction gear cannot be smoothly meshed with the output gear.
Therefore, in the present invention, the back surface of the support member fitted in the driven shaft with the inlay is supported by the support wall portion of the transmission case, and the axial gap between the support wall portion and the support member is axially fitted in the inlay fitting portion. It is set smaller than the total length. Therefore, when the gear sleeve or the tightening member is attached to the driven shaft later, the support member is prevented from completely falling off from the spigot portion of the driven shaft, and by tightening the tightening member, the support member is brought into a normal position. Easy to fix.
There is a gap between the support wall portion of the transmission case and the support wall portion that is smaller than the axial fitting length of the spigot fitting portion, but at least the driven pulley rotates. A sufficient gap is required so that the support wall and the support wall are not in contact with each other.
When assembling the continuously variable transmission according to the present invention, it is preferable to carry out in the following order.
In other words, the driven pulley (one end of the driven shaft) is assembled in one transmission case, the intermediate transmission case (having a support wall) is inserted through the driven shaft and assembled, then the differential device is assembled, The transmission case on the side is assembled and the other end side of the driven shaft is supported.
During the assembly of the driven pulley into the transmission case on one side, it is necessary to support the back surface of the support member with some parts so that the support member does not fall off the driven shaft due to the spring force of the return spring. However, if a gear sleeve (with a bearing) is used as this part, it interferes with the bearing when the differential device is incorporated. Further, when the outer diameter of the bearing is larger than the inner diameter of the support wall portion, the intermediate transmission case cannot be assembled.
Therefore, a method is used in which a part supporting the back surface of the support member is removed before the differential device is assembled, and the gear sleeve and the bearing are attached to the driven shaft after the differential device is assembled. This is because the output gear can be engaged with the ring gear of the differential device without being obstructed by the bearing.
Although it is possible to use a gear sleeve as a component that supports the back surface of the support member, since it is necessary to attach and detach the driven sleeve, the output gear may be damaged. Therefore, a temporary fixing member is preferably used as a dedicated part for supporting the back surface of the support member. This temporary fixing member is a cylindrical part having a function of only supporting the back surface of the support member, and does not have an output gear. By using such dedicated parts, it is easy to attach and detach from the driven shaft, and the output gear is not damaged. The fastening member can be omitted by providing the temporary fixing member with a female screw in advance.
The bearing in the present invention may be a roller bearing or a ball bearing. The bearing may be fitted and fixed to the gear sleeve, or may be directly fitted and fixed to the driven shaft.
In particular, when a ball bearing is used, the inner race needs to be press-fitted and fitted, so it is desirable to pre-fit and fix it to the outside of the gear sleeve. In this case, compared with the case where the ball bearing is directly fixed to the driven shaft, the impact force when the inner race is press-fitted is not applied to the other end side of the driven shaft, but the bearing provided on the other end side of the driven shaft. Axial load is not applied.
When the gear sleeve is fastened and fixed to the driven shaft by the tightening member, the axial load is limited between the tightening member, the gear sleeve, and the support member, so that the bearing provided on the other end side of the driven shaft Will not be affected by axial loads and will not damage the bearings.
In the case of a continuously variable transmission with a three-axis configuration, the output gear may be meshed with the ring gear of the differential device. However, in the case of a four-axis configuration, a reduction gear is interposed between the output gear and the ring gear of the differential device. Also in this case, the output gear can be easily meshed with the reduction gear by spline-fitting the gear sleeve to the driven shaft with respect to the driven shaft, differential device and reduction gear incorporated on one side of the transmission case. .
As described above, according to the present invention, the support member that supports the return spring is fitted in the driven shaft with an inlay, and the support wall portion close to the back surface of the support member is provided on the inner wall of the transmission case that houses the driven pulley. Since the axial clearance between the support wall and the support member is set to be smaller than the axial fitting length of the above-mentioned spigot fitting portion, it is possible to prevent the spigot fitting of the support member from being removed during the assembly, and excellent assemblability. A continuously variable transmission can be obtained.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to examples.

As shown in FIG. 3, the
