Description
周側面は、切削インサートの大側面視において概ね等脚台形の形状を有する反対側に位置する2つの大側面を含み、端面はそれぞれ、4つの角、すなわち対角に位置する2つの高い角および対角に位置する2つの低い角を有し、これらの低い角は高い角よりも切削インサートの正中面Mに近く、正中面Mは、切削インサートの反対側に位置する2つの端面の間に位置し、端面はそれぞれ、カッタボデーのインサートポケットに当接することが可能な当接面を有する。両方の大側面の側面視において、前記当接面は概ねV字形である。
Claims (19)
- タンジェンシャル切削インサート(10、210)であって、
前記切削インサート(10、210)の端面視において概ね長方形の形状を有する反対側に位置する2つの端面(12,212)であって、間にある正中面に関して鏡面対称である2つの端面(12、212)と、
前記反対側に位置する2つの端面(12、212)の間に延びる周側面(14、214)と、
それぞれの端面(12、212)と前記周側面(14、214)との交線に形成された周縁(40、240)であって、それぞれの周縁の少なくとも2つの部分が切れ刃(50、250)を構成する周縁(40、240)と
を含み、前記周側面(14、214)は、
前記切削インサート(10、210)の大側面視において概ね等脚台形の形状を有する反対側に位置する2つの大側面(18、218)
を含み、
端面(12、212)はそれぞれ、4つの角(24、26、224、226)、すなわち対角に位置する2つの高い角(24、224)および対角に位置する2つの低い角(26、226)を有し、前記低い角(26、226)は、前記高い角(24、224)よりも、前記切削インサート(10、210)の正中面Mに近く、
端面(12、212)はそれぞれ、カッタボデー(82)のインサートポケット(84)に当接することが可能な当接面(30、230)を有し、
両方の大側面(18)の側面視において前記当接面(30、230)は概ねV字形であることを特徴とするタンジェンシャル切削インサート(10、210)。 - 前記周側面(12、212)は、前記大側面(18、218)および前記端面(12、212)を概ね横断する反対側に位置する2つの小側面(16、216)を含み、小側面(16、216)はそれぞれ、前記切削インサート(10、210)の小側面視において、面取りされた2つの角を有する概ね長方形の形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の切削インサート(10、210)。
- 前記正中面Mに関して鏡面対称であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の切削インサート(10、210)。
- 両方の大側面(18)の側面視において前記当接面は凹面S上にあることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 前記当接面(30)は平らな3つの部分(32、34)、すなわち平らな2つの外側部分(32)とそれらの間の平らな内側部分(34)とを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記切削インサート(10)の端面視において、それぞれの平らな外側部分(32)に対して1本、合計2本の正中線(L1、L2)が定義され、前記正中線(L1、L2)は重ならず、共通の直線上にないことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 前記2本の正中線(L1、L2)は平行であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 前記2本の正中線(L1、L2)は前記大側面(18)と平行であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 前記切削インサート(10)の端面視において、前記当接面(30)は細長いS字形であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 切れ刃(50)はそれぞれ、主切れ刃(52)、副切れ刃(54)およびこれらの間の角切れ刃(56)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 前記大側面(18)、小側面(16)および長い角側面(22a)とそれぞれの端面(12)との交線にそれぞれ長縁、短縁および角縁(42、44、46)が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- それぞれの角切れ刃(56)は所与の高い角(24)に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 主切れ刃(52)はそれぞれ、実質的にその関連長縁(42)の全長に沿って延びることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 副切れ刃(54)はそれぞれ、関連短縁(16)の長さの少なくとも半分に沿って延びることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の切削インサート(10)。
- 前記切削インサートの前記正中面Mに対して垂直な平面で切った前記切削インサートのそれぞれの断面において、特定の端面(212)の前記当接面(230)は、前記特定の端面(212)の一方の前記主切れ刃(252)のリーディングセクション(266)よりも前記正中面Mに近いことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の切削インサート(210)。
- 前記大側面(218)、小側面(216)および長い角側面(222a)とそれぞれの端面(212)との交線に、それぞれ長縁、短縁および角縁(242、244、246)が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の切削インサート(210)。
- それぞれの角切れ刃(256)は所与の高い角(224)に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の切削インサート(210)。
- 請求項1に記載の少なくとも1つの切削インサート(10、210)と、
前記少なくとも1つの切削インサート(10、210)がその中に保持された少なくとも1つのインサートポケット(84)を有するカッタボデー(82)と
を備え、
前記少なくとも1つのインサートポケット(84)は、ベース(92)を概ね横断する隣接する側壁および後壁(88、90)を含み、前記後壁(90)は概ね凸形であり、
前記側壁(88)は、前記少なくとも1つの切削インサート(10、210)の所与の小側面(16、216)の所与の軸方向当接領域(96、296)に当接する軸方向配置面(94)を有し、
前記後壁(90)は、前記後壁(90)の中央領域(102)の両側に位置する2つの接線方向配置面(98、100)を有し、
前記2つの接線方向配置面の第1の面(98)は、前記少なくとも1つの切削インサート(10、210)の前記当接面(30、230)上に位置する2つの接線方向当接面(104、304)の一方に当接し、前記2つの接線方向配置面の第2の面(100)は、前記2つの接線方向当接面(104、304)の他方に当接する
