Description
The present invention relates to a fuel processor and fuel cell power generation system, suppressing fuel processor that heat radiation amount in the high temperature portion is increased especially by the heat conduction from the high temperature part to the low temperature section, and the fuel having the fuel processor it relates to cell power generation system.
With the recent increase in awareness of global environmental conservation, power generation efficiency is high, exhaust heat can be used, and the use of low-noise, low-vibration, environmentally friendly fuel cell power generation systems is expected compared to other power generation devices. . The fuel cell power generation system includes a fuel processing device that reforms a raw material fuel to generate a fuel gas rich in hydrogen when the raw material fuel is city gas, LPG, digestion gas, methanol, GTL, kerosene, and the like, and a fuel processing device. A fuel cell is provided that supplies the generated fuel gas to the fuel electrode and supplies an oxidant gas containing oxygen such as air to the air electrode to generate electric power through an electrochemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen.
By the way, the fuel processing apparatus which reforms the raw material fuel to generate the fuel gas reaches a temperature of about 100 ° C. to 800 ° C. during its operation. Depending on the purpose of the reaction, the fuel processing apparatus is divided into several parts such as a reforming part, a shift part, and a selective oxidation part from the upstream side. Each of these divided portions has a different reaction temperature. Usually, the reforming portion into which the raw material fuel is introduced has the highest temperature, and the temperature decreases as the raw material fuel reaction process proceeds, and fuel gas is generated and derived. The temperature of the selective oxidation part is the lowest. In any case, the fuel processing device that becomes hotter than the normal outside air temperature during operation is covered with a heat insulating material from the viewpoint of reaction efficiency and safety, and the outer periphery serves as reinforcement of the heat insulating material and reflection of radiant heat. In general, a covering sheet made of metal such as aluminum or copper is wound (see, for example, FIG. 6).
However, since the metal sheet has a relatively high thermal conductivity, if the entire fuel processing apparatus having a temperature distribution is covered with the metal sheet, the amount of heat radiation at the high temperature portion is increased. Then, when the reforming method in the fuel processing apparatus is the steam reforming method, the heat supplied to the reforming section that requires a high temperature by the endothermic reaction is deprived, and the reaction efficiency for generating the fuel gas is deteriorated. It will be.
In view of the above-described problems, the present invention insulates a fuel processing apparatus, and suppresses an increase in the amount of heat released in a high temperature part due to heat conduction from a high temperature part to a low temperature part even when the fuel processing apparatus is covered with a covering sheet. An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell power generation system and a heat insulating structure including the same.

The
The
The
The
The
The
The covering
FIG. 2 is a one-side longitudinal sectional view of the

During steady operation, the temperature of the reforming
The reformed gas generated by the reforming reaction of the reforming
CO + H 2 O → CO 2 + H 2 (2)
This modification reaction is an exothermic reaction. If the reaction temperature is lowered, there are an advantage that the CO concentration of the reformed gas after the modification is lowered and a reaction rate is lowered. Here, the temperature of the high
The shift gas exiting the low

The
Here, since the covering

The temperature gradient Sp of the cover sheet of the conventional fuel processing apparatus shown in FIG. 5A is a temperature TpH slightly higher and a temperature slightly lower than a temperature TzM that is substantially between the highest temperature TzH and the lowest temperature TzL of the outer surface of the heat insulating material. It is indicated by a straight line connecting TpL. The temperature gradient straight line Sp of the covering sheet and the temperature gradient straight line Sz of the outer surface of the heat insulating material intersect at a substantially middle point in the hierarchical direction of the fuel processor. The amount of heat proportional to the triangular area Xp indicated by the diagonal lines in the figure corresponds to the amount of heat lost due to heat conduction from the high temperature portion to the low temperature portion.

The temperature gradient Sc of the

The approximate heat dissipation when the cover sheet of the conventional fuel processor not divided shown in FIG. 5 (a) is covered is the area Xp = 0, where h is the length in the hierarchical direction of the fuel processor. The amount of heat is proportional to 5 h × (TzH−TpH) × 0.5. On the other hand, when the covering sheet of the fuel processing apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention divided into three as shown in FIG. 5 (b) is covered, the approximate heat dissipation amount is the sum of the heat dissipation amounts of the covering sheets.
