包装袋供給装置のベルトコンベア上に一群の包装袋を自動的に補給する包装袋の補給方法において、
一群の包装袋を長手方向に倒して積み重ねるように載置することができる多数のマガジンと、セット位置にて該マガジンを上下方向に所定間隔をおいて保持することができると共に一群の包装袋が載置された各マガジンを下方へ順次移動させる第1移動手段と、その第1移動手段の最下位に移動したマガジンを水平方向に移送する移送手段と、その移送手段により送り込まれるマガジンを上方へ順次移動させる第2移動手段と、供給位置にて該第2移動手段により最上位に送り込まれたマガジンに載置された一群の包装袋の一側縁を押え部材によって挟持すると共に当該押え部材により挟持された包装袋を前記包装袋供給装置のベルトコンベア上に貯留される包装袋の最後尾に接続するように供給する送り込み手段と、包装袋を供給した後の空マガジンを前記セット位置まで帰還させる回送手段とを備え、前記セット位置にて一群の包装袋を第1移動手段に待機する空マガジンに載置し、その第1移動手段により最下位に移動したマガジンを移送手段によって第2移動手段まで移送し、その第2移動手段により最上位に送り込まれたマガジン内の一群の包装袋を送り込み手段によって前記ベルトコンベア上に貯留される包装袋の最後尾に接続するように供給し、ついで、包装袋が供給された後の空マガジンを回送手段により元のセット位置まで帰還させて第1移動手段により最上位に保持させることを特徴とする包装袋供給装置への包装袋の補給方法。
