Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a water faucet, and more particularly to a water faucet that is attached to a wall surface or the like and is suitably used for water supply to, for example, a washing machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
What is shown in FIG. 3 is known as a water tap attached to a wall surface and used for water supply to a washing machine. The water faucet (200) of FIG. 3 has a water faucet body (201) made of a casting, and has a water inlet (202) opened rearward at the rear end, and at the front end. It has a valve unit housing opening (203) that is open and a water outlet (204) that is open downward, and a substantially U-shaped partition wall (205) as viewed from the side is provided in the front end portion of the faucet body (201). A water passage hole (206) is formed in the upper horizontal portion (205A) of the partition wall (205), and a valve seat (207) is provided on the upper peripheral edge of the water passage hole (206). The faucet body (201) has a shape in which a front end portion thereof is greatly bulged forward because it is necessary to provide a secondary flow path in front of the partition wall (205). On the other hand, the valve body unit (208) accommodated in the water faucet body (201) through the valve body unit accommodation port (203) is a rubber valve body which is brought into contact with or separated from the valve seat (207). (209), a male screw (209) attached to the lower end, a handle (210) attached to the upper end, and a female screw (203A) provided in the valve body accommodating port (203) 211A) and a spindle (211). A rubber packing (212) is interposed between the spindle (211) and the valve body unit accommodation port (203) to seal the gap, and the packing (212) is connected to the valve body unit accommodation port ( 203) is pressed from above by a holding nut (213) screwed into a male screw (203B) provided on the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion of 203).
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When the water faucet body (201) having a complicated internal structure as shown in FIG. 3 is made by casting, a core having a complicated structure corresponding to that must be used, and when molten metal is poured into the mold. In many cases, a thin part of the core breaks or the gas generated from the core due to the heat of the molten metal does not escape sufficiently, resulting in defective products. It was.
[0004]
In addition, due to the structural constraints as described above, the faucet body (201) has to have a shape with its front end greatly bulging forward, so that it does not look good and the protruding length from the wall surface is short. Therefore, there was a limit to space saving.
[0005]
Further, in the water tap (200), the packing (212) that seals the gap between the valve body (209) and the spindle (211) and the valve body unit accommodation port (203) is made of rubber. Therefore, when used for a long period of time, deformation, deterioration, etc. may occur and there may be a problem of water leakage. In addition, when the hydrant (200) is used for supplying water to the fully automatic washing machine, when the water is automatically stopped at the water introduction part of the washing machine, the water inside the hydrant body (201) A high water pressure is applied to the rubber packing (212) sealing the gap between the spindle (211) and the valve body unit accommodation opening (203) due to the reverse flow. Therefore, in this case, in particular, the sealing function of the packing (212) is likely to be deteriorated, and there is a problem that water leaks from the gap between the spindle (211) and the valve body unit accommodation port (203).
[0006]
The object of the present invention is to achieve a reduction in the occurrence rate of defective products and cost reduction of the faucet body and improve the appearance of the faucet body for a faucet that is attached to a wall surface and used for water supply to a washing machine, for example. In addition, it is to enable space saving. Another object of the present invention is to prevent water leakage even when the water tap is used for a long period of time, and to prevent the problem of water leakage even when used for supplying water to a fully automatic washing machine or the like. .
[0007]

[0021]
The connecting member (9) includes a hexagonal cross-section engaging recess (91) into which the engaging convex portion (62) of the movable valve plate (6) is fitted at the lower end surface, and the movable seal plate (8) at the upper end surface. This is a short columnar shape having an engaging recess (92) having a hexagonal cross section into which the engaging protrusion (82) is fitted. The connecting member (9) may have a cylindrical shape in which the inner contour of the cross section is a hexagon corresponding to the engaging convex portions (82) and (62). In addition, the engagement recesses (91) and (92) of the connecting member (9) and the engagement protrusions (62) and (82) of the movable valve plate (6) and the movable seal plate (8) fitted in these are shown in FIG. It is not limited to the hexagonal cross section as shown in 1 and 2, but may of course have other cross sectional shapes. Furthermore, engagement convex portions are provided on the upper and lower ends of the connecting member (9), and engagement concave portions into which these are fitted may be provided on the upper surface of the movable valve plate (6) and the lower surface of the movable seal plate (8). It doesn't matter.
[0022]
The compression spring (11) is formed of a compression coil spring and is arranged around the connecting member (9). However, when the connecting member (9) is cylindrical, the compression spring (11) may be arranged inside the connecting member (9).
[0023]
At the lower end portion of the spindle (10), an engagement portion (102) having a quadrangular cross section that is fitted into the engagement recess (81) of the movable seal plate (8) is provided. Note that the engaging portion (102) and the engaging recess (81) of the movable seal plate (8) into which the engaging portion (102) is fitted are not limited to those having a quadrangular section as shown in FIGS. You may have. Further, an engaging convex portion may be provided on the upper surface of the movable seal plate (8), and an engaging convex portion into which the engaging convex portion is fitted may be provided at the lower end portion of the spindle (10). An annular groove (103) is provided in the upper part of the engaging part (102) of the spindle (10), and the bottom wall of the groove (103) and the vertical penetration of the fixed seal plate (7) facing the bottom wall An O-ring (20) for holding the spindle (10) vertically is interposed between the inner surface portion of the hole (71). An annular flange portion (104) is provided in the middle portion of the length of the spindle (10), and this flange portion (104) is provided on the upper surface of the fixed seal plate (7) and the top wall portion (19B) of the lid (19). So that the spindle (10) does not come out upward. The handle attachment portion (101) at the upper end of the spindle (10) is provided with a large number of teeth (101a) extending in the vertical direction and arranged in the circumferential direction.
[0024]
As the handle, a general-purpose product having an engagement hole into which the handle mounting portion (101) is fitted can be used, and is not particularly limited. Although not shown in the drawing, a stopper for restricting the rotation range of the handle between the opening position and the closing position may be provided, for example, at a required portion of the spindle (10) and the lid (19). Good.
[0025]
In the above-mentioned water faucet (1), in the closed state, the fixed valve plate (5) and the movable valve plate (6) do not overlap with each other because the vertical water passages (51) (61) do not overlap each other. It is in such a positional relationship. In addition, in the casing (4), water from the water supply pipe allows the elbow, the horizontal cylinder part (2B) of the faucet body (2), the communication hole (23) of the vertical cylinder part (2A) and the annular groove (23 ) Through the water introduction hole (41), and due to the pressure of the water and the elastic force of the compression spring (11), the movable valve plate (6) is placed on the upper surface of the fixed valve plate (5) and the movable seal plate. (8) is pressed against the lower surface of the fixed seal plate (7), so that water leakage is surely prevented. The fixed valve plate (5), the movable valve plate (6), the fixed seal plate (7), and the movable seal plate (8) are all made of ceramics, have high wear resistance, and are not easily deformed by heat. Since it does not occur, the problem of water leakage does not occur even if it is used for a long time. When the handle is rotated by a predetermined angle (about 90 °) in a predetermined direction from the closed state, the movable valve plate (6) is passed through the spindle (10), the movable seal plate (8), and the connecting member (9). ) Is rotated, whereby the vertical water passages (51) and (61) of the fixed valve plate (5) and the movable valve plate (6) overlap and communicate with each other, and the water discharge pipe (13) passes through the water outlet (22). ), The water is discharged from the plug. In order to shift from the opened state to the closed state, a handle operation opposite to the above may be performed.
[0026]
When the water tap (1) is used for supplying water to the fully automatic washing machine, the tip of the water discharge pipe (13) and the water introduction part of the fully automatic washing machine are usually connected by a hose. In this case, when water is automatically stopped at the water introduction part of the fully automatic washing machine during the water supply, the water flows backward to the water tap (1) side, but flows back to the fixed valve plate (5) and the movable valve. The pressure of water introduced into the casing (4) from the vertical water passages (51) (61) of the plate (6) is the direction in which it is pressed against the lower surface of the fixed seal plate (7) against the movable seal plate (8). Since these seal plates (7) and (8) are made of ceramics, there is no risk of both seal plates (7) and (8) being damaged, and there is a problem of water leakage from the same portion as in the prior art. Does not happen.
[0027]
It should be noted that the above-described embodiment is merely an example, and it is of course possible to implement the present invention as appropriate without departing from the gist of the present invention described in the claims.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
The faucet according to the present invention is as described above, and since the internal structure of the faucet body is simplified, for the faucet body, a core having a simple structure corresponding thereto is used. In addition to being able to be manufactured by casting, it can be manufactured by forging or cutting, thereby reducing the incidence of defective products and reducing costs. In addition, the faucet body is composed of the vertical cylinder part and the horizontal cylinder part, and the front end does not bulge forward like the faucet body of the conventional faucet. Since the length is shortened, it is possible to save space. Moreover, in the water tap according to the present invention, the movable valve plate provided in the casing of the valve cartridge is on the upper surface of the fixed valve plate, the movable seal plate is on the lower surface of the fixed seal plate, respectively, and the water pressure or the elasticity of the compression spring is compressed. Because it is pushed by force, there is no problem of water leakage and it can be used safely for a long time. In particular, even when used for water supply to a fully automatic washing machine or the like, the seal parts of the spindle portion, that is, the movable seal plate and the fixed seal plate are caused by the backflow of water generated by water stoppage upstream of the water tap. There is no risk of damage and there is no concern about water leakage.
