Description
The present invention relates to a polymer-immobilized platinum catalyst prepared by immobilizing a platinum catalyst in an amphiphilic crosslinkable polymer and an organic synthesis reaction method using the catalyst, and more particularly, to the polymer. The present invention relates to a hydrosilylation reaction, a hydrogenation reaction, and a boronation reaction using an immobilized platinum catalyst.
Attempts to fix metals on various supports and use them as catalysts have been made for a long time, but most of them use coordination bonds of nitrogen and phosphorus atoms and generally have insufficient catalytic activity, and are recovered and reused. There are problems such as metal flowing out and activity gradually decreasing.
In recent years, polymer-immobilized catalysts in which a metal catalyst is supported on a polymer using microencapsulation have been developed (Non-Patent Documents 1 to 4). However, even in these polymer-immobilized catalysts, there are problems that the solvent resistance is insufficient or the supported metal leaks depending on the type of reaction (Patent Document 1).
In addition, it has been reported that a minute platinum cluster is supported on polymer micelles and used as a catalyst. However, since such metal-polymer micelle complexes exist as colloidal solutions, there are problems with stability, and recovery and reuse. Is difficult (Non-Patent Document 5).
Under these circumstances, the present inventors developed a technology for stably immobilizing a palladium catalyst by supporting it as a nano-sized cluster on a polystyrene-based copolymer having a cross-linking group by a microencapsulation method and then thermally cross-linking it. did. Palladium in the crosslinked polymer is zero-valent and exists extremely stably while no ligand such as a phosphorus atom is coordinated (Patent Documents 2 and 3, Non-Patent Documents 6 and 7).
On the other hand, platinum is an important catalyst that accelerates many chemical reactions like palladium, and immobilization to various inorganic substances and organic compounds has been attempted so far (Non-Patent Documents 8 to 10).
However, these platinum catalysts have problems such as a decrease in reactivity, a decrease in selectivity, and a decrease in activity after recovery and reuse. In general, platinum is immobilized on a polymer carrier via a functional group having a strong coordination property with respect to platinum such as a phosphorus atom or a nitrogen atom. And is not suitable for adjusting selectivity.
The hydrosilylation reaction is an important reaction both industrially and in the laboratory (Non-Patent Document 11), and rhodium and manganese are used as industrial metal catalysts (Non-Patent Documents 12 and 13). Although homogeneous platinum is known to exhibit catalytic activity in this reaction (Non-patent Document 14), it is easy to recover, does not leak metal, and does not decrease activity even when reused. Is desired.
The present invention uses a polymer-immobilized platinum catalyst that is useful as a catalyst for hydrosilylation reactions and the like, is easy to recover and reuse after use, has no metal leakage, and does not decrease its activity even when used repeatedly. It is an object to provide a reaction method.
The present inventors fixed a polymer obtained by supporting platinum on a polymer having a specific structure, that is, a polymer having an aromatic side chain, a hydrophilic side chain, and a crosslinking group, and then crosslinking the polymer. The present inventors have found that a platinum catalyst can solve the above-described problems and have completed the present invention. That is, a phase separation state is caused by adding a poor solvent having a different polarity to the solution of the crosslinkable polymer and platinum dissolved in a good solvent. As a result, platinum is supported on the aggregate of crosslinkable polymers in a highly dispersed ultrafine particle state by interaction with the aromatic ring. Thereafter, by cross-linking the platinum-containing crosslinkable polymer aggregate, platinum was stably fixed while maintaining high catalytic activity, and a polymer-immobilized platinum catalyst effective for various reactions could be obtained. The polymer-immobilized platinum catalyst of the present invention has less metal leakage than the conventional immobilized platinum catalyst, is easy to recover and reuse, and does not cause a decrease in activity after recovery. Furthermore, it is easy to fix to a carrier such as resin, glass, or bead using a crosslinking group.

After dissolving such a polymer and the above platinum precursor in a good solvent , platinum can be incorporated into the polymer aggregate or micelle-like aggregate by adding a suitable poor solvent to cause phase separation. At this time, a phenomenon in which part or all of the ligand of the platinum precursor is eliminated is observed. Further, platinum is usually fixed at zero valence, but when the platinum precursor is ion, it can be fixed as zero valent platinum by reducing treatment at the time of phase separation. Here, the concentration of the polymer in the good solvent is about 0.1 to 100 mg / ml, the amount of platinum precursor is 0.01 to 0.5 (w / w) with respect to the polymer, and the amount of the poor solvent is 0.2 to 0.2 with respect to the good solvent. 10 (v / v) is used, and the addition time of the poor solvent is usually 10 minutes to 2 hours. The temperature at the time of phase separation is not particularly limited, but is usually performed at room temperature.

The platinum in the polymer-immobilized platinum catalyst thus obtained is considered to be bonded as an ultrafine particle by weak interaction with the aromatic ring, and various reactions such as hydrosilylation reaction and boron It shows a high catalytic activity for the reaction.
ヒドロシリル化反応においては、基質としてアルケン又はアルキンを用いて、本発明の触媒の存在下でこれにSiR3H(式中、Rは、同じであっても異なってもよく、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、又はシリルオキシ基を表す。) In the hydrosilylation reaction, alkene or alkyne is used as a substrate, and SiR 3 H (in the formula, R may be the same or different in the presence of the catalyst of the present invention, alkyl group, alkoxy group). Or a silyloxy group) is reacted. The catalyst amount is 0.1% to 10% (mol / mol) as platinum with respect to the reaction substrate, and the solvent is not limited as long as it dissolves the substrate, but a two-phase solvent such as hexane-water is preferable. The reaction temperature may be appropriately selected from 0 ° C to 80 ° C, but is preferably room temperature to 50 ° C. The reaction is usually fast and completes in 5 minutes to 1 hour. In the hydrosilylation reaction of alkyne, a cis isomer is obtained stereospecifically, and the reaction proceeds well even with an alkene having a large steric hindrance. After the reaction, the catalyst can be easily recovered by filtration, and the recovered solvent can be reused simply by washing and drying. No leakage of metal from the catalyst was observed during the reaction and recovery, and no decrease in activity was observed even after repeated use.
Regarding the boronation reaction, in the bisboration reaction, alkene or alkyne is used as a substrate, and B (OR) 2 -B (OR) 2 (wherein R is an alkyl group, etc.) in the presence of the catalyst of the present invention. The boron compound represented by this is reacted. In the boronation reaction of an allyl compound, allyl halide is used as a substrate and is represented by HB (OR) 2 (wherein R represents an alkyl group or the like) in the presence of the catalyst of the present invention. The boron compound is reacted. The amount of catalyst is 1% to 10% (mol / mol) as platinum with respect to the reaction substrate, and an organic solvent is usually used as the solvent. The reaction temperature can be appropriately selected from room temperature to 100 ° C. Usually, the reaction is completed in about 1 to 48 hours. The diboronated product obtained by the bisboration reaction is useful as an intermediate for synthesizing a polysubstituted alkene by a boron conversion reaction. Moreover, the allyl boronated compound obtained by the boronation reaction of an allyl compound can be isolated, and can be utilized for the allylation reaction of a carbonyl compound without isolation. In these boronation reactions, the catalyst can be easily recovered by filtration after the reaction, and the recovered solvent can be reused by simply washing and drying.
The following examples illustrate the invention but are not intended to limit the invention.

Production Example 1
Styrene (13.42 g, 128.9 mmol), 4-vinylbenzyl glycidyl ether (3.06 g, 16.1 mmol), tetraethyleneglycol mono-2-phenyl-2-propenyl ether (5.0 g, 16.1 mmol), AIBN (189.6 mg, 1.15 mmol) The product was dissolved in chloroform (20 mL) and stirred under reflux for 48 hours under an argon atmosphere. After cooling, the reaction mixture was poured into methanol (600 mL) to solidify the polymer. After decanting and removing the supernatant, the residue was dissolved in a small amount of tetrahydrofuran and poured again into methanol. The precipitated polymer was filtered and dried at room temperature under reduced pressure. 16.2 g of polymer was obtained (76% yield).
The method for immobilizing the platinum catalyst is shown in the following formula (Formula 6).
As a result of elemental analysis, the obtained PIPt leaves 0.88 phosphorus atoms per platinum atom, which is different from the case of palladium in which no phosphorus atoms remain. This is considered to be due to the strong affinity of the platinum atom with the phosphorus atom. As a result of various NMR (SR-MAS, 31 P-NMR) analyses, it is presumed that phosphorus in the polymer remains in the state of oxidized triphenylphosphine oxide.

And heated at 80 ° C. for 24 hours. After cooling to room temperature, the reaction mixture was diluted with hexane, and the solid component was filtered off. The filtrate was washed with water and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. After filtration, the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure, 1,2,4,5-tetramethylbenzene was added as an internal standard substance, and the product was quantified by 1 H NMR analysis. As a result, as shown in the following formula, a bisboronated product was obtained in a yield of 98%.
