Description
下記に、本発明に係る公知の構成又は機能に関する具体的な説明が本発明の要旨を不明にすると判断された場合に、その詳細な説明を省略する。
図1を参照すると、基地局(BS又はNode B)10は、複数のアンテナを有し、複数のアンテナを通じて送信信号列を伝送し、或いは移動端末(MS又はUE)20,22,24からの信号列を受信する。基地局10は、図面に示さないが、移動端末20,22,24とのチャンネルを形成している。説明の便宜のために、第1の移動端末20と形成されたチャンネルを“第1のチャンネル”とし、第2の移動端末22と形成されたチャンネルを“第2のチャンネル”とし、第kの移動端末24と形成されたチャンネルを“第kのチャンネル”とする。
図2を参照すると、ステップ210は、基地局が特定の移動端末に信号を送信する(信号送信段階)。基地局によって送信された信号は、移動端末と形成された特定チャンネルを通じて伝送される(チャンネル段階)。

Claims (10)
- 多重アンテナ方式を使用する基地局で適応変調符号化を通じて出力される複数のビット列を複数の送信アンテナを通じて伝送するためのビームフォーミングを遂行する方法であって、
移動端末からのフィードバック情報を受信する段階と、
前記フィードバック情報から加重値選択情報を獲得する段階と、
前記加重値選択情報によって所定の加重値マトリックスを選択する段階と、
前記選択された加重値マトリックスにより送信アンテナ別に相異なる加重値を割り当てる段階と、
該送信アンテナを通じて伝送しようとするビット列を前記該送信アンテナに対して割り当てられた加重値によって乗算する段階と、
前記加重値によって乗算されたビット列を前記該送信アンテナに出力する段階と、
を有し、
前記加重値マトリックスは下記のようなパターンを有し、
- 前記複数の送信アンテナのうち、相互干渉が最小化できる送信アンテナを一つの送信アンテナグループに分類することを特徴とする請求項1記載のビームフォーミング遂行方法。
- 前記送信アンテナは4個で構成され、前記4個の送信アンテナは2個の送信アンテナグループに分類されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のビームフォーミング遂行方法。
- 前記ビット列の個数が、前記送信アンテナグループを構成する送信アンテナの個数に比例することを特徴とする請求項1記載のビームフォーミング遂行方法。
- 多重アンテナ方式を使用する基地局におけるビームフォーミングを遂行する装置であって、
一つのビット列を複数のビット列に多重化し、前記複数のビット列の各々に対する適応変調符号化を遂行する一般信号処理部と、
移動端末からフィードバックされる加重値選択情報によって送信アンテナ別に相互に異なる加重値を割り当て、前記一般信号処理部から出力される複数のビット列のうち該送信アンテナを通じて伝送しようとするビット列を前記該送信アンテナに対して割り当てられた加重値によって乗算し、前記加重値によって乗算されたビット列を各送信アンテナグループの前記該送信アンテナに出力する空間信号処理部と、
前記移動端末からフィードバックされる加重値選択情報(k)により各送信アンテナグループ別加重値(W1、W2)を決定するフィードバック情報処理部と、
前記加重値選択情報により所定の加重値マトリックスを選択し、前記選択された加重値マトリックスにより送信アンテナ別加重値を割り当てる加重値マトリックスと、
を含み、前記加重値マトリックスは、下記のようなパターンを有し、
- 前記一般信号処理部は、
一つのビット列を複数のビット列に多重化するマルチプレクサと、
移動端末からのフィードバック情報によって、前記複数のビット列の各々に対する適応変調符号化を遂行する複数の適応変調符号化部と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項5記載のビームフォーミング遂行装置。 - 前記空間信号処理部は、
複数の送信アンテナグループに分類される複数の送信アンテナと、
前記送信アンテナグループ別に加重値が提供され、前記複数のビット列を前記送信アンテナグループ別に加重値によって乗算して対応する送信アンテナグループに出力するコンバイナと、を含み、
ここで、前記送信アンテナグループの送信アンテナに対して同一の加重値を割り当てることを特徴とする請求項5記載のビームフォーミング遂行装置。 - 前記複数の送信アンテナのうち、相互干渉が最小化できる送信アンテナを一つの送信アンテナグループに分類することを特徴とする請求項5記載のビームフォーミング遂行装置。
- 前記送信アンテナは4個で構成され、前記4個の送信アンテナは2個の送信アンテナグループに分類されることを特徴とする請求項5記載のビームフォーミング遂行装置。
- 前記ビット列の個数が、各送信アンテナグループを構成する前記送信アンテナの個数に比例することを特徴とする請求項5記載のビームフォーミング遂行装置。
