【0011】
金属ナノワイヤーは、例えば、N.R.Jana, L.Gearheart and C.J.Murphyによる方法(Chm.Commun.,2001, p617-p618)や、C.Ducamp-Sanguesa, R.Herrera-Urbina, and M.Figlarz等の方法(J. Solid State Chem.,100. 1992, p272〜p280)によって製造することができる。
【0022】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a composition comprising metal nanorods and metal nanowires. More specifically, for example, a composition in which metal nanorods and metal nanowires are dispersed in a resin as a binder, and has light absorption characteristics for a specific wavelength in the visible light / near infrared light region, and further high electromagnetic wave shielding The present invention relates to an achromatic metal nanofiber-containing composition in which light absorption in the visible light region is corrected by using a dye and / or a pigment having a selective absorption function in a wavelength region of 780 nm or less in combination.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When a metal fine particle is irradiated with light, a resonance absorption phenomenon called plasmon absorption occurs. This absorption phenomenon has different absorption wavelength ranges depending on the type and shape of the metal. For example, a colloidal gold particle in which spherical gold fine particles are dispersed in water has an absorption region around 530 nm. If the shape of the fine particles is made into a rod shape with a short axis of 10 nm, in addition to absorption around 530 nm caused by the short axis of the rod. It is known to have absorption on the long wavelength side due to the long axis of the rod (for example, SS. Chang et al, Langmuir, 1999, 15. p701-709).
[0003]
[Problem to be Solved by the Invention]
Conventionally, it is known that metal fine particles exhibit such plasmon absorption, but a coating composition (paint) utilizing this phenomenon has not been known so far. For example, JP-A-11-80647 and JP-A-11-319538 describe colloidal solutions containing colloidal particles of noble metal or copper and a polymer pigment dispersant. The purpose is to increase the stability, and the shape of the metal fine particles is not specified to obtain an absorption effect on near infrared light or an electromagnetic wave shielding effect. In addition, Japanese National Publication No. 9-506210 describes metal carbide nanoparticles and a method for producing the same, but the ratio of the short axis to the long axis of the metal fine particles is specified to improve the absorption function for near infrared light. Is not recognized, and it is not shown to be embodied in paint.
[0004]
Also, for the purpose of forming a metal wiring pattern, it is known to use plasmon-absorbing inorganic fine particles supported on a solid surface as a fine rod grown to a diameter of less than 100 nm and an aspect ratio of 1 or more ( JP 2001-64794). However, in this method, since the fine rod grows in a state of being supported on the solid surface, it cannot be dispersed in various solvents and binders, so that it cannot be made into a paint. In addition, plasmon absorption of metal fine particles is used only for the purpose of growth in the synthesis process, and is not used for selective absorption of specific wavelengths of visible light and near infrared light caused by the long axis of metal nanorods.
[0005]
Furthermore, JP-A-2000-56127 describes a multilayer film in which silver thin films and oxide thin films such as indium oxide are alternately laminated as a filter that absorbs near infrared light and shields electromagnetic waves. An application as an optical filter for a plasma display panel (PDP) is shown. However, in order to form this multilayer film, a large-scale apparatus such as sputtering is required, and since it has a multilayer structure, there is a problem that it takes time for manufacturing and increases costs.
[0006]
[Means for solving the problems]
The present invention uses a combination of a metal nanorod having a specified length and an aspect ratio of a major axis and a metal nanowire having a specified length of a major axis and a minor axis (including a metal nanofiber mixture including a metal nanorod and a metal nanowire, In other words, it has selective light absorption performance with respect to visible / near-infrared light having a wavelength of 400 nm to 2000 nm, has excellent heat resistance, and has high electromagnetic shielding performance. The present invention relates to an achromatic metal nanofiber-containing composition in which light absorption in the visible light region is corrected by using a pigment in combination. According to the present invention, the above composition and the coating composition thereof, a light absorption filter, an electromagnetic wave shielding filter, and the like are provided.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described based on embodiments.
The composition of the present invention comprises a rod-shaped metal nanofiber having a major axis of less than 400 nm and an aspect ratio of greater than 1 (referred to as a metal nanorod), a major axis of 400 nm or more and a minor axis of 50 nm or less. Adsorbing to certain wire-like metal nanofibers (referred to as metal nanowires) and metal nanofiber mixture (metal nanorods and metal nanowires) and affinity to non-aqueous solvents, Solsperse 13940, Solsperse 24000SC, Solsperse 28000, Solsperse 32000, Floren DOPA-15B, Floren DOPA-17, Azisper PB814, Azisper PB711, and a basic polymer type dispersant, a dispersion medium and a binder It is a metal nanofiber containing composition.
[0009]
Gold, silver, copper, and alloys thereof can be used as the metal species of the metal nanorods and metal nanowires. The metal nanorod used in the present invention has a major axis of less than 400 nm and an aspect ratio (major axis / minor axis ratio) of more than 1, preferably an aspect ratio of 2 to 10. Incidentally, those having an aspect ratio (major axis / minor axis ratio) of 1 are spherical metal fine particles, and a selective absorption effect with respect to a specific wavelength in the visible light and near infrared light regions cannot be obtained. By using metal nanorods having a major axis of less than 400 nm and an aspect ratio of greater than 1, preferably 2 to 10, the wavelength of the major axis of the metal nanorods is in the visible / near infrared region of 400 nm to 2000 nm. It is possible to have an absorption effect selective to a specific wavelength.
[0010]
The metal nanowire used in the present invention has a major axis of 400 nm or more and a minor axis of 50 nm or less, preferably a major axis of 450 to 1500 nm, a minor axis of 1 to 45 nm, and an aspect ratio of 20 or more. . Since such metal nanowires are in an intertwined state with long and narrow fibers, they can have excellent conductivity with a surface resistance of 1.0 Ω / □ or less, and are therefore high. An electromagnetic wave shielding effect can be obtained. Specific metal types, shaft lengths, aspect ratios, and the like may be appropriately determined according to the purpose of use.
[0011]
Metal nanowires are, for example, methods by NRJana, L. Gearheart and CJMurphy (Chm. Commun., 2001, p617-p618) and methods by C. Ducamp-Sanguesa, R. Herrera-Urbina, and M. Figlarz ( J. Solid State Chem., 100. 1992, p272-p280). In addition, manufacture of metal nanowire is not restricted to these methods.
[0012]
The composition of the present invention may contain either a dye or a pigment or both together with the metal nanofiber mixture as required. A pigment having a selective absorption function in a wavelength region of 780 nm or less is used. Dyes or pigments that can give colors of the three primary colors of red, green, and blue (which may be complementary colors of red, green, and blue depending on the purpose) can be used without particular limitation. For example, representative dyes include red colored layers such as azo dyes, green colored layers such as phthalocyanine dyes, and blue colored layers such as anthraquinone dyes.
Examples of the near infrared light absorbing dye include cyanine dyes and metal chelate dyes. Furthermore, for example, in the case of pigments, the red colored layer is cadmium red, molybdenum red, red rice, red lead, quinacridone red, etc., the green colored layer is chrome green, chromium oxide, phthalocyanine green, etc., the blue colored layer is cobalt blue, bitumen Typical examples include ultramarine blue and phthalocyanine blue.
The dyes and pigments are not limited to the above.
[0013]
The metal nanofiber-containing composition of the present invention contains metal nanowires together with metal nanorods, and has a light absorption performance for specific wavelengths of visible light and near infrared light by the metal nanorods. Excellent electromagnetic shielding performance due to high conductivity. Further, by using a dye or a pigment together, light absorption in the visible light region can be corrected, and an achromatic optical filter material can be obtained. The dye is generally an organic compound and thus has low heat resistance, but generally the pigment has high heat resistance, and an achromatic optical filter material having excellent heat resistance can be obtained by using the pigment in combination.
[0014]
In the composition of the present invention, the content of the metal nanofiber mixture composed of metal nanorods and metal nanowires is suitably 0.01 to 1900 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the binder (resin). If the content of the metal nanofiber mixture is less than this, the effect is insufficient. On the other hand, if the content of the metal nanofiber mixture is more than this, the resin amount of the binder is relatively reduced, so that the moldability and The film formability is lowered. The amount ratio of the metal nanorod (R) and the metal nanowire (W) may be determined according to the application. Usually, R: W = 100: 1 to 50 is generally appropriate as a weight mixing ratio.
[0015]
In the embodiment containing either or both of the dye and the pigment together with the metal nanofiber mixture, the content of the dye is suitably 0.01 to 900 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the binder. The pigment content is suitably 0.01 to 900 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the binder. If the content of the dye or pigment is less than this, the effect of correcting the light absorption in the visible light region cannot be sufficiently obtained, while if the content of the dye or pigment is more than this, the cost increases.
[0016]
The metal nanofiber-containing composition of the present invention is a mode in which a metal nanofiber mixture composed of metal nanorods and metal nanowires is dispersed in a binder (resin), or the metal nanofiber mixture is dye and / or in a wavelength region of 780 nm or less. A mode in which the pigment is dispersed in a binder (resin) together with a pigment having a selective absorption function is included. The binder (resin) is used as a base material component such as a coating component or a film or sheet containing metal nanofibers. A coating composition (paint) having transparency to light in the visible light region to the near infrared light region and various resins for molding can be used without particular limitation. The resin may be any one of water-based, non-aqueous, and water-soluble resins, or a mixture of two or more. For example, various organic resins such as acrylic resin, polyester resin, alkyd resin, urethane resin, silicone resin, fluorine resin, epoxy resin, polycarbonate resin, polyvinyl chloride resin, and polyvinyl alcohol, radically polymerizable to form a resin. Oligomers and monomers can be used. These may be used in combination with a curing agent or a radical polymerization initiator.
[0017]
As the dispersion medium, a solvent in which the binder is dissolved or stably dispersed may be appropriately selected, and any of an aqueous solvent and a non-aqueous solvent may be used. Specifically, water, alcohols such as methanol, ethanol, propanol, hexanol and ethylene glycol, aromatic hydrocarbons such as xylene and toluene, alicyclic hydrocarbons such as cyclohexane, ketones such as acetone and methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, Representative examples include esters such as butyl acetate, ethers such as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, and mixtures thereof, but are not limited thereto.
[0018]
The dispersant has a number average molecular weight of several thousand or more, has adsorption sites such as nitrogen atoms and sulfur atoms in the main chain that are highly adsorbable to the metal nanofiber mixture, and has affinity for non-aqueous solvents. Examples include basic polymer type dispersants having a plurality of side chains. As such a dispersant, commercially available ones can be used, for example, those sold under the trade names of Solsperse 13940, Solsperse 24000SC, Solsperse 28000, Solsperse 32000 (above, Avicia products), Products marketed under the trade names of Floren DOPA-15B and Floren DOPA-17 (above, Kyoeisha Chemical Co., Ltd.), products sold under the trade names of Ajisper PB814, Ajisper PB711 (above, Ajinomoto Fine Techno Co., Ltd.) Etc.
[0019]
In the metal nanofiber-containing composition of the present invention, those containing a resin component as a binder can be used in various forms such as a resin film or resin sheet, and a coating composition. Furthermore, this invention includes the base material etc. which have the coating film formed with the coating composition which consists of a metal nanofiber containing composition.
[0020]
A transparent resin film or resin sheet in which a metal nanofiber mixture is dispersed in a resin can be used as a transparent electromagnetic wave shielding filter. In addition, a transparent electromagnetic wave shielding filter can be formed by coating a coating composition containing a metal nanofiber mixture on a substrate surface such as a transparent resin film or a transparent glass plate. These resin films and coating film formed bodies can be used by laminating them or by laminating with other transparent materials.
[0021]
In general, a filter having a surface resistance value of 2.5Ω / □ or less and a transmittance of 70% or more in the visible light region can be used as an electromagnetic wave shielding filter for a plasma display panel (PDP). Since the transparent electromagnetic wave shielding filter of the present invention has a visible light transmittance of 70% or more, preferably 80% or more and a surface resistance value of the filter surface of 1.0Ω / □ or less, the electromagnetic wave shielding filter for PDP It is suitable as. Moreover, since the composition of this invention is disperse | distributed in the state in which the metal nanowire was mutually entangled, it has high electroconductivity with a comparatively small dispersion amount, and the outstanding electromagnetic wave shielding effect is acquired. Therefore, when used as a PDP filter, the sharpness of the image is maintained. Furthermore, the transparent filter formed by the composition of the present invention can also be used as a transparent conductive film.
