Claims (17)
- 円筒形態で巻き取られ、中央には所定の空間が形成された電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体が内蔵され、上部が開放された円筒形缶と、
前記電極組立体の空間に挿入し、前記電極組立体に密着するように外側に弾性力が作用するセンターピンと、
前記円筒形缶の上部に結合するキャップ組立体と、
を含み、
前記センターピンは、一定の長さを有し内部に中空部を有する棒形態であり、長手方向に切欠溝が形成されていることを特徴とする円筒形リチウムイオン電池。 - 前記電極組立体は、正極板、セパレータ及び負極板からなり、前記正極板には正極タブが接続して上部のキャップ組立体に連結され、前記負極板には負極タブが接続して円筒形缶の下部の底面に連結されており、前記センターピンは前記負極タブの上に位置したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記切欠溝は相互密着するか、相互所定の距離離隔するか、または相互重なっているかのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記センターピンは、外側に拡張するように付勢される弾性体であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記センターピンは、一定温度で直径が大きくなる形状記憶合金であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記センターピンは、Fe系、Cu系、または、TiNi系中のいずれかの1つの形状記憶合金であって、一定温度で直径が大きくなることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記センターピンは、電極組立体が有する高さの90〜110%に形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、
前記円筒形缶の上部に略リング形態で結合した絶縁ガスケットと、
前記絶縁ガスケットの内側の下段に結合すると共に、前記正極タブが連結され、また、内圧が上昇する際に裂けてガスを放出する導電性安全ベントと、
前記導電性安全ベントの上部に位置し、前記導電性安全ベントが作動する際に分断されて電流が遮断される電流遮断板と、
前記電流遮断板の上部に位置し、過電流時に電流が遮断される陽性温度素子と、
前記陽性温度素子の上部に位置し、外部に正極電圧を提供する導電性正極キャップと、
を含んでなることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。 - 前記電極組立体と円筒形缶の底面との間には下部絶縁板が位置し、前記電極組立体とキャップ組立体との間には上部絶縁板が位置したことを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池。
- 正極板、セパレータ及び負極板を積層し、一端に巻取軸を結合して略円筒形態で巻き取って電極組立体を形成する電極組立体形成ステップと、
前記電極組立体を円筒形缶に結合させると共に、前記巻取軸を前記電極組立体から分離する電極組立体結合ステップと、
前記巻取軸が分離した電極組立体の空間に、挿入後に直径が大きくなり、前記電極組立体に密着するように外側に弾性力が作用するセンターピンを挿入するセンターピン結合ステップと、
前記円筒形缶の上部にキャップ組立体を結合して前記電極組立体及びセンターピンが外部に離脱しないようにするキャップ組立体結合ステップと、
を含み、
前記センターピンは、一定の長さを有し内部に中空部を有する棒形態であり、長手方向に切欠溝が形成されていることを特徴とする円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極組立体形成ステップにおいて、前記正極板に正極タブが接続され、前記負極板に負極タブが接続され、
前記電極組立体結合ステップにおいて、前記負極タブが円筒形缶の下部の底面に連結され、
前記センターピン結合ステップにおいて、前記センターピンが前記負極タブの上に位置され、
前記キャップ組立体結合ステップにおいて、前記正極タブが上部のキャップ組立体に連結されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。 - 前記切欠溝はセンターピンの結合後に相互に密着するか、相互に所定距離離隔するか、または、相互に重なるかのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項10又は11に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。
- 前記センターピン結合ステップで利用されたセンターピンは、外側に拡張するように付勢される弾性体であることを特徴とする請求項10から12のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。
- 前記センターピン結合ステップで利用されたセンターピンは、一定の温度で直径が他の温度より大きくなる形状記憶合金であることを特徴とする請求項10から12のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。
- 前記センターピン結合ステップで利用されたセンターピンは、一定の温度で直径が他の温度より大きくなるFe系、Cu系、または、TiNi系中のいずれかの1つからなる形状記憶合金であることを特徴とする請求項10から12のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。
- 前記センターピン結合ステップ後にはセンターピンの直径が拡張されるようにセンターピンを加熱する加熱ステップが更に含まれたことを特徴とする請求項10から12、14及び15のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。
- 前記センターピン結合ステップ後には圧縮されたセンターピンが外側に拡張されるようにセンターピンを圧縮する外力を除去する外力除去ステップが更に含まれたことを特徴とする請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載の円筒形リチウムイオン電池の製造方法。
