Description
Claims (20)
- 液体で満たされた間隙を有する、中実の、寸法的に安定した芯の上端を、振動式オリフィスプレートの表面に押し付けて配置する噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯の配置方法であって、該オリフィスプレートが該プレートを貫通して形成された複数の微小オリフィスを有し、オリフィスプレートが振動すると芯の間隙を満たしている液体を散布するように構成され、
前記芯が、その上端の一部が前記振動式オリフィスプレートに接した状態で配置されるとき、芯の上端とオリフィスプレートの表面との間の空間から大気中に延出する液体のない流路を維持しながら、前記芯を前記振動式オリフィスプレートに向けて移動させるステップを有し、
液体のない流路を維持しながら芯を移動させる前記ステップが、芯の上端に切り抜き部を設けるステップを含み、該切り抜き部が側面及び底面を有し、該底面が前記振動式オリフィスプレートに接触しないように芯の先端面よりも下にある、
噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯の配置方法。 - 前記切り抜き部を設けるステップが、大気に対し遮断されていない流路が形成されるように前記切り抜き部を設けることを含む、請求項1に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯の配置方法。
- 前記切り抜き部を設けるステップが、前記芯がオリフィスプレートに押し付けられて配置されるときに、芯の間隙を満たす液体が前記切り抜き部によって除去された体積分を満たさないように切り抜き部の寸法を決定するステップを含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯の配置方法。
- 前記寸法を決定するステップによって、前記切り抜き部が約10度乃至約50度の角度を成す、請求項3に噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯の配置記載の方法。
- 前記寸法を決定するステップによって、前記切り抜き部が約15度乃至約30度の角度を成す、請求項3に噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯の配置記載の方法。
- 振動式オリフィスプレートによって噴霧される液体を収容する噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯であって、前記オリフィスプレートが該プレートを貫通して形成された複数の微小オリフィスを有し、前記リザーバ内の液体を散布するように構成され、
前記芯は、液体を下端から上端に引き上げるための毛管流路を有する、寸法的に安定した材料を含み、該芯の先端面と前記振動式オリフィスプレートの対向面との間の領域から大気に対し遮断されていない流路を設けるように構成される切り抜き部を有し、
前記切り抜き部は、前記芯の先端面から垂下する側面、及び、前記振動式オリフィスプレートに接触しないように前記芯の先端面より下に配置される底面を含む、噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。 - 前記寸法的に安定した材料が、高分子量ポリエチレンでできている、請求項6に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
- 前記切り抜き部が、約10度乃至約50度の角度を成す、請求項6または請求項7に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
- 前記切り抜き部が、約15度乃至約30度の角度を成す、請求項6または請求項7に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
- 前記切り抜き部は、該切り抜き部によって除去された体積分を液体が満たさないような寸法で形成される、請求項6〜請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
- 液体を噴霧するための振動式オリフィスプレートを使用する噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリであって、
噴霧される液体を収容する容器と、
前記容器内の液体に浸漬される下端、及び前記容器より上に配置される上端を有する細長い芯と、を含み、
前記芯が、前記容器から、前記容器の外側にある前記芯の上端に液体を引き上げるための毛管流路を有する、寸法的に安定した材料を含み、
前記噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリが噴霧装置に配置されるとき、前記芯の先端面と、振動式オリフィスプレートの対向面との間の領域から大気に対し遮断されていない流路を設けるように構成された切り抜き部を、前記芯の上端が有し、
前記切り抜き部が、前記芯の先端面から垂下する側面、及び、振動式オリフィスプレートに接触しないように前記先端面より下に配置される底面を含む、
噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリ。 - 前記寸法的に安定した材料が高分子量ポリエチレンから成る、請求項11に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリ。
- 前記切り抜き部が、約10度乃至約50度の角度を成す、請求項11または請求項12に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリ。
- 前記切り抜き部が、約15度乃至約30度の角度を成す、請求項11または請求項12に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリ。
- 前記切り抜き部は、前記切り抜き部によって除去された体積分を前記容器からの液体が満たさないような寸法で形成される、請求項11〜請求項14のいずれか1項に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリ。
- 振動式オリフィスプレートによって噴霧される液体を収容する噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯であって、前記オリフィスプレートが該プレートを貫通して形成された複数の微小オリフィスを有し、前記リザーバ内の液体を散布するように構成され、
前記芯は、下端から上端に液体を引き上げるための毛管流路を有する、寸法的に安定した材料を含み、前記芯の上端が振動式オリフィスプレートに押し付けられて配置されるとき、前記芯の上端と前記振動式オリフィスプレートの表面との間の空間から大気中に延出する液体のない流路を設けるように、空気若しくは液体を吸収するように構成される異なる材料を上端に有する、
噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。 - 前記異なる材料の少なくとも1つが、前記芯の上端に埋設される繊維性材料である、請求項16に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
- 前記繊維性材料が、ナイロン、綿、及びポリプロピレンのうちの1つを含む、請求項17に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
- 前記異なる材料の少なくとも1つが、前記芯の上端に埋設される可撓性発泡体である、請求項16に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
- 前記寸法的に安定した材料が、高分子量ポリエチレンを含む、請求項16〜請求項19のいずれか1項に記載の噴霧装置用交換式リザーバ・アセンブリに使用する芯。
