Claims (8)
- インクジェットプリントヘッドであって、
複数の薄膜層を含むプリントヘッド基板と、
前記プリントヘッド基板内に形成され且つ長手方向の範囲に沿って延在する、複数のインク滴発生器が並置された複数列状アレイと、
約15kHzから約18kHzまでの範囲内の周波数においてそれぞれの前記インク滴発生器にエネルギーを与えるための、前記プリントヘッド基板内に形成されたドライブ回路と、
前記FET駆動回路に対して電力を供給するための電力トレース
とを備え、
前記プリントヘッド基板内に形成され且つそれぞれが前記インク滴発生器の前記列状アレイに隣接する、FET駆動回路の列状アレイと、前記FET駆動回路のアクティブ領域に重なるグランドバスとを、前記ドライブ回路が含み、該アクティブ領域がそれぞれ、前記FET駆動回路のソース領域とドレイン領域とゲート領域とを含み、
前記FET駆動回路の各々の寄生抵抗と、前記電力トレースの寄生抵抗とを組み合わせた抵抗の変動が、前記インク滴発生器どうしの間で低減されるように、前記FET駆動回路の各々の寄生抵抗が選定されていることにより、前記FET駆動回路は、前記電力トレースによって与えられる寄生抵抗の変動を補償し、及び、
前記プリントヘッド基板は、1平方ミリメートル当たりに少なくとも10.43個のインク滴発生器という、インク滴発生器実装密度を有することからなる、インクジェットプリントヘッド。 - 前記FET駆動回路の各々は、(250,000オーム・マイクロメートル2)/Aよりも小さなオン抵抗を有し、該Aは、マイクロメートル2で表した前記FET駆動回路の面積であることからなる、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記FET駆動回路の各々は、最大でも16オームのオン抵抗を有する、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記FET駆動回路の列状アレイの各々は、最大でも180マイクロメートルの幅を有する領域内に含まれる、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記FET駆動回路の列状アレイの各々は、最大でも250マイクロメートルの幅を有する領域内に含まれる、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記複数のインク滴発生器が並置された複数列状アレイは、複数のインク滴発生器が並置された4列状アレイを含み、該インク滴発生器の各列状アレイは、所定間隔だけ互いに離れた少なくとも100個のインク滴発生器を有し、
前記FET駆動回路の複数の列状アレイは、FET駆動回路の4列状アレイを含むことからなる、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。 - 前記インク滴発生器の前記4列状アレイは、最大でも630マイクロメートルだけ互いに離れた第1の列状アレイ及び第2の列状アレイと、最大でも630マイクロメートルだけ互いに離れた第3の列状アレイ及び第4の列状アレイとを含むことからなる、請求項6に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記プリントヘッド基板の側縁部に近づくにつれて広くなる幅を、前記グランドバスの各々が有している、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
