インターネットを利用して、ニュースを配信するシステムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来の電子メールを利用したニュース配信システムの一例を、図１２を用いて説明する。

ニュース配信サーバ１１１から、新規ニュースを取得しようとするユーザは、まず、ユーザ端末１２１からニュース配信サーバ１１１にアクセスして、会員登録フォーム（図示せず）を要求する。ユーザは、会員登録フォームに、氏名、メールアドレス等を記入すると、ユーザ端末１２１は、これをニュース配信サーバ１１１に送信する。ニュース配信サーバ１１１は、会員登録フォームに記入されたデータを、会員情報データベース（図示せず）に登録する。

ニュース配信サーバ１１１は、ニュース提供業者の端末１３１から新規ニュースを取得すると、会員情報データベースに登録されたメールアドレスを用いて、その新規ニュースをユーザ端末１２１にメール送信する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記のようなシステムでは、以下のような問題が生じている。

第一に、ユーザは、ニュース配信サーバ１１１から送られてくる電子メールの中から、所望の情報を探さなければならず、面倒であり、時間がかかる。また、ユーザが特定の情報のみ欲しいときでも、ユーザ端末１２１は、ニュース配信サーバ１１１からすべてのメールを受け付けなければならなず、その処理が効率的でない。

第二に、ニュース配信サーバ１１１は、ユーザが関心を持たないようなニュースも、各ユーザ端末に送信しているため、その処理が効率的でない。

また、ニュース配信サーバ１１１を、ユーザによって指定されたキーワードが記述されているニュースのみ、提供するように設定した場合、以下のような問題が生じる。

第一に、キーワードが記述されていないニュースは、一律に、ユーザ端末に提供されないため、ユーザが関心を持つ可能性のあるニュースであっても、ユーザは取得できない。

第二に、各ユーザ端末に配信するニュースが限定され、広範囲に提供できないため、ニュースに記載されている広告等の機能を損なうことになる。

この発明は、このような問題を解決して、ユーザにかかる負担を軽減し、ユーザが関心を持つであろうニュースを幅広く、効率的に配信するシステムを実現することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段および発明の効果】
(1) この発明のニュース配信システムは、インターネットに接続可能なユーザ端末装置と、インターネットに接続されており、第１の関連データベースにアクセス可能なニュース分析コンピュータとを備えており、前記ユーザ端末装置は、前記ニュース分析コンピュータに対して、第１の社会的存在を示す言葉を送信し、前記ニュース分析コンピュータは、当該第１の社会的存在と社会的関連性を有する第２の社会的存在を示す言葉を、当該第１の社会的存在を示す言葉をキーとして、前記第１の関連データベースから１または複数抽出し、前記ニュース分析コンピュータは、当該第２の社会的存在を示す言葉が記述されたニュースを、前記ユーザ端末装置に提供することを特徴としている。

1 全体の構成、処理の概要
図１に、この発明の一実施形態におけるニュース配信システムの全体構成を示す。

ニュース配信サーバ１１は、インターネットを介して、ユーザ端末２１と、ニュース提供業者のコンピュータ３１に接続されている。このニュース配信サーバ１１には、企業の職員名が登録されている会社職員録データベースと、人物間の縁戚・交友関係が登録されている縁戚・交友関係データベースを備えている。以下に、このシステムの処理（アウェアネス・サービス）の概要を示す。

このシステムを利用して、ある企業に関する情報を知ろうとするユーザは、ユーザ端末２１からニュース配信サーバ１１にアクセスして、ユーザ名、メールアドレス、企業名を指定して、会員登録を行う。ニュース配信サーバ１１は、この企業名をキーに、会社職員録データベースから、当該企業の職員名を抽出する。さらに、職員名をキーに、縁戚・交友関係データベースから、縁戚・交友関係にある人名を抽出する。

4.1 会員登録処理
図４に、ユーザが会員登録を行う際の、ニュース配信サーバ１１、ユーザ端末２１の処理を示す。

まず、「ＡＡ電機株式会社」に関する情報を取得しようとするユーザは、ユーザ端末２１からニュース配信サーバ１１にアクセスして、図５に示す会員登録フォームを要求する（ＳＴ１１）。ニュース配信サーバ１１からこれを受け取ると（ＳＴ１２）、そこに氏名、メールアドレスとともに、「ＡＡ電機株式会社」を入力して、ニュース配信サーバ１１に送信する（ＳＴ１３）。ニュース配信サーバ１１は、会員登録フォームに記入されたデータを、図６ａに示す会員情報データベースに登録する（ＳＴ１４）とともに、ユーザＩＤ、パスワードを生成して（ＳＴ１５）、これをユーザ端末２１に送信する（ＳＴ１６）
4.2 職員データ、縁戚・交友データの抽出処理
図７に、職員データ、縁戚・交友データの抽出を行う際の、ニュース配信サーバ１１の処理を示す。

なお、この実施形態では、ユーザが指定する企業、その企業の職員、その職員と縁戚・交友関係にある人名が記述されたニュースを配信するシステムを、一例として説明している。しかしながら、これに限られるものではなく、例えば、以下のようなニュースを配信するようなシステムであってもよい。
