【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an air leaf suspension.
[0002]
[Prior art]
There are various types of suspensions that are used to suspend the vehicle axle on the side rails. Among them, the leaf suspension, which consists of multiple leaf springs, has a simple structure. It has the features of low cost, high strength and high durability, and has been widely used in vehicles such as trucks.
[0003]
However, the conventional leaf suspension cannot be denied that its riding comfort is inferior to that of the current air suspension, and the combined use of leaf springs and air springs reduces riding costs while reducing costs. Research and development of an air leaf suspension that can be improved is underway.
[0004]
FIG. 2 shows an example of a conventional air leaf suspension. In FIG. 2, 1 is a pair of left and right side rails that extend in the vehicle front-rear direction and forms part of the chassis frame, and 2 is a vehicle front-rear along the

[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an air leaf suspension capable of achieving a lower spring constant than a conventional leaf spring while suppressing the occurrence of windup during braking. It is said.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a leaf spring in which an axle is connected to a lower surface of a middle portion in the longitudinal direction and extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and whose front and rear ends are pivotally attached to a side rail, and an upper surface of the middle portion in the longitudinal direction of the leaf spring and the side rail. an air leaf suspension with an air spring interposed between, just below the extending to and air spring from directly below the air springs to a position in close proximity to the lower surface of the side rail to rise obliquely toward only the vehicle rear side It is characterized by providing a helper leaf that warps upward from the middle to the middle and warps along the lower surface of the side rail as it approaches the lower surface of the side rail so as to form an S shape as a whole. .
[0013]
In this way, even if a rotational moment about the axis occurs in the axle during braking, the helper leaf abuts the lower surface of the side rail when the leaf spring behind the axle is about to bend upward, As the helper leaf bends and generates a reaction force, the bending is suppressed, so that the windup of the leaf spring during braking is suppressed, thereby deteriorating the feeling during braking (the effectiveness of the brake) ), And plastic deformation and premature breakage of the leaf spring due to excessive stress are prevented.
[0015]
Further, in the present invention, it is preferable to attach a rubber insulator to the upper end portion of the helper leaf so as to face the lower surface of the side rail, and in this way, the helper leaf is in contact with the lower surface of the side rail. While the impact is alleviated, it is possible to tune the feeling during braking by selecting a rubber insulator appropriately.
