(実施例1)
紙パルプ工場の製造工程廃水を嫌気性処理する際に、回収したMAP500mg/リットルを添加した。MAPは、消化汚泥の分離液より回収した。回収したMAPの粒径は2.0mmであったが、粉砕することで0.2mm以下として利用した。原水BOD 4200mg/リットルに対し処理水のBODは420mg/リットルであり、BOD除去率は90%であった。汚泥のメタン生成活性度を測定したところ、0.8kg−BOD/kg−汚泥/dであった。また、処理水中のPO4−Pは30mg/リットル、NH4−Nは10mg/リットルであり、無機栄養塩類は十分に足りていた。なお、嫌気性処理工程におけるpHは7.5であった。
(実施例2)
実施例2では、図3に示す処理装置における回収MAPの利用を評価した。回収MAPの添加位置を酸発酵槽2とした以外は、実施例1と同様とした。すなわち、消化汚泥の分離液より回収した平均粒径2.0mmのMAPを粉砕して平均粒径0.2mm以下の粒子として、500mg/リットルの添加量で、酸発酵槽2に添加し、pH7.5に維持したEGSB槽1からの処理水7のBOD、処理汚泥のメタン生成活性度並びに処理水中のPO4−P及びNH4−Nを測定した。なお、BODの分析は下水処理試験方法に準拠し、メタン生成活性度はグラニュール汚泥、培地、廃水を混合した密閉容器を振とうし、発生したメタンガス量として測定し、PO4−Pはモリブデン青吸光光度法で、NH4−Nはインドフェノール青吸光光度法でそれぞれ測定した。
(実施例3)
実施例3では、回収MAPの利用として、図6に示す生物処理装置におけるMAPの再循環利用を評価した。図6に示す処理装置は、EGSB槽1と、EGSB槽1から排出される処理水を受け入れMAPを生成させるリン酸マグネシウムアンモニウム生成槽10と、リン酸マグネシウムアンモニウム生成槽10からMAPをEGSB槽1に循環させる配管11と、を具備する。配管11は原水供給配管に接続されている。さらに酸発酵槽2がEGSB槽1の上流に設けられていて、酸発酵槽2には原水供給配管から原水5とMAP6が導入されるように構成されている。
(比較例1)
実施例1と同様に、紙パルプの製造工程廃水を嫌気性処理する際に、回収したMAPを500mg/リットルとなるように添加した。MAPは粉砕せず、2mmのものを添加した。原水BOD:4000mg/リットルに対し処理水のBODは2000mg/リットルであり、BOD除去率は50%であった。汚泥のメタン生成活性度を測定したところ、0.5kg−BOD/kg−汚泥/dであり、実施例1に比較して活性度が低かった。また、処理水中のPO4−Pは0.1mg/リットル以下、NH4−Nは0.1mg/リットル以下であり、無機栄養塩類が不足していた。無機栄養塩類が不足したことで汚泥の活性度が低下したと判断される。なお、嫌気性処理工程におけるpHは7.5であった。
Claims (2)
- 嫌気性処理槽及び/又は好気性処理槽と、該嫌気性処理槽及び/又は好気性処理槽の上流にある酸発酵槽と、該処理槽から排出される処理水を受け入れて粒子状リン酸マグネシウムアンモニウムを生成させるリン酸マグネシウムアンモニウム生成槽と、該粒子状リン酸マグネシウムアンモニウムを該酸発酵槽に循環させる配管と、を具備する回収リン酸マグネシウムアンモニウムを利用する有機性廃棄物及び/又は有機性廃水の生物処理装置。
- 前記リン酸マグネシウムアンモニウム生成槽には、さらに、マグネシウム、アンモニウム及び/又はリンを含む薬剤の添加手段及び/又はpH調整手段が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の生物処理装置。
