本発明は、パンツ型の使い捨ておむつに関する。特に、使い捨ておむつのサイズ調整機構の改良に関する。

【従来の技術】
パンツ型のおむつは、一般的に、乳幼児の成長に合わせてＳ，Ｍ，Ｌ等のようにサイズ分けされている。大人用のおむつの場合にも、着用者の体格に合わせていくつかのサイズが用意されている。ところで、複数の異なるサイズのおむつであっても、全ての着用者にフィットするとは限らない。ウエスト周りが平均より細い場合や、太股の周りが平均より細いというケースがある。このため、実開平５−３９５３１号公報に示されるように、ウエスト開口部及び脚開口部にサイズ調整用の止着部材を別設したおむつが提案されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
パンツ型のおむつにおいては、所謂オープン型のおむつに比べてスリムで見栄えが良いというのがメリットの１つである。しかしながら、上述した止着部材を備えた従来のパンツ型おむつでは、止着部材の端部がブラブラしておむつ本体から浮いた状態になる。このため、見栄えが悪いだけでなく、乳幼児などが不用意に当該止着部材を剥がしてしまうことがある。

本発明は上記のような状況に鑑みて成されたものであり、見栄えがよく、且つ、サイズ調整部を不用意に解除することの少ない使い捨ておむつ提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、請求項１に記載の使い捨ておむつは、前胴周り域と後胴周り域と股下域とによってパンツ形状をなし、胴周り開口と一対の脚周り開口とを備えたパンツ型使い捨ておむつにおいて、前記胴周り開口及び脚周り開口のうちの少なくとも一方の周縁部外面の一部に、止着部材が直接取付けられている。そして、前記止着部材の接着面は前記外面と同一方向を向き、前記外面同士が前記止着部材を介して着脱可能に形成されている。ここで、「止着部材の接着面が外面と同一方向を向き」とは、例えば、止着部材が外面上に取り付けられ、その接着面が外面と同様におむつの外側（着用者の肌と反対側）に向いている状態を言う。また、「外面同士が止着部材を介して着脱・・」とは、止着部材があたかも外面の一部のように機能し、サイズ調整時には接着部分はズボンのタックのような姿勢をとる意味である。
