Description
The present invention relates to a drive shaft data transmission unit that transmits data related to a drive shaft such as a rolling facility, a bearing cup grease injection lid that can transmit the data, and a drive shaft monitoring system that monitors the drive shaft.
For example, a drive shaft of a rolling mill for steel is connected between a rolling roller and a drive motor, and plays a role of transmitting the rotational force of the drive motor to the rolling roller. A cross shaft joint is provided in the middle of the drive shaft. In the rolling equipment, the steel material is rolled in a state where the movement of the rolling roller is allowed by the joint. However, during rolling of steel, a large load due to impact or the like is applied to the cross joint, so that it is difficult to avoid damage due to long-term use. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the progress of damage and replace the cross shaft joint as soon as possible. More specifically, the cross shaft joint is provided with a bearing cup for each of the four trunnions of the cross shaft, and a drive shaft portion and a driven shaft respectively disposed on the drive motor side and the rolling roller side of the drive shaft. The joint is assembled to the drive shaft by connecting each end of the part to two different bearing cups. However, the load applied to the trunnion and each bearing cup from the rolling roller side during steel rolling is extremely large, and the trunnion surface was easily peeled off depending on the usage time. In addition, the degree of surface peeling sometimes differs between the four trunnions. Therefore, in rolling equipment, the cross shaft joint is periodically removed from the drive shaft, and the trunnion and bearing cup are separated to completely disassemble the cross shaft joint, thereby reducing the degree of surface peeling at each trunnion. It was required to visually check and replace the cross joint etc. as necessary, and this periodic inspection work required a lot of labor and time.
On the other hand, a system provided with a temperature sensor that detects the temperature at the cross joint and a transmitter that wirelessly transmits the sensor output is proposed as a conventional system, for example, as described in Patent Document 1 below. .
By the way, the conventional system monitors the temperature at the cross joint used for the drive shaft connecting between the pair of differential devices provided in the vehicle. In this system, the temperature sensor and the transmitter are connected. The included unit was attached to the center of the cross shaft of the cross shaft joint.
However, in a rolling facility or the like, the cross shaft of the cross shaft joint is covered in the axial direction by the four bearing cups, and the end portions of the drive shaft and the driven shaft are substantially at the center of the cross shaft. The cross shafts are connected so as to be in close contact with each other, and are incorporated in the drive shaft without being exposed to the outside. For this reason, it was difficult to attach a transmitter or the like to the cross shaft as in the conventional system. In addition, although it is conceivable to attach a transmitter or the like to each shaft portion of the drive shaft, in the configuration in which the two drive shafts are arranged close to each other as in the above-described rolling equipment, the mounting space for the drive shaft shaft portion It was difficult to secure. For this reason, in such rolling equipment, the drive shaft cannot be monitored by sensor output.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a new technical means that can accurately monitor the progress of damage based on the detection data of a sensor even in a drive shaft of a rolling facility.
The drive shaft data transmission unit of the present invention is a data transmission unit attached to the drive shaft,
The drive shaft includes a cruciform joint having a bearing cup, and is connected to a sensor facing an inner wall surface of a hole formed around the central axis of the trunnion of the cruciform joint in order to detect damage to the drive shaft. A wireless data transmission unit that transmits detection data from the sensor is attached to the inside of a lid that is attached to a hole formed in the bearing cup.
In the drive shaft data transmission unit configured as described above, a data transmission unit that transmits detection data from the sensor is attached to the bearing cup. This makes it possible to attach the data transmission unit etc. unlike the conventional example, even when the cross shaft of the cross shaft joint is incorporated into the drive shaft with almost no external exposure, such as in rolling equipment. The drive shaft can be accurately monitored using the sensor detection data from the transmitter.

In this case, the data transmission unit can be attached to the cup without providing a recess or the like in the bearing cup.
Further, the bearing cup grease injection hole lid of the present invention is a lid attached to a grease injection hole formed in a bearing cup of the cross shaft joint in a drive shaft provided with a cross shaft joint,
A radio that is connected to a battery power source and a sensor facing an inner wall surface of a hole formed around the central axis of the trunnion of the cross joint for detecting damage to the drive shaft and transmits detection data from the sensor A data transmission unit including a data transmission unit of a system is mounted inside .
The lid for the bearing cup grease injection hole configured as described above has a battery power source and a data transmission unit, and a wireless unit capable of transmitting data from the sensor is mounted on the lid. The wireless unit can be attached to a grease injection hole formed in the cross joint of the shaft. Therefore, it is possible to monitor the drive shaft whose progress of damage cannot be monitored, and the periodic inspection work can be omitted.
The drive shaft monitoring system of the present invention is a system for monitoring a drive shaft that is used in rolling equipment and has a cross shaft joint,
In order to detect damage to the cross shaft of the cross shaft joint, a sensor is provided so as to face the inner wall surface of the hole formed around the central axis of the trunnion of the cross shaft joint ,
A data transmission unit including a wireless data transmission unit connected to the sensor and transmitting detection data from the sensor is attached to the inside of a lid attached to a hole formed in a bearing cup of the cross joint. It is characterized by this.
In the drive shaft monitoring system configured as described above, the detection data of the sensor can be acquired from the data transmission unit attached to the bearing cup, so that the progress degree of damage to the drive shaft can be easily detected. It is possible to perform maintenance work of the drive shaft including replacement work of the cross shaft joint at an appropriate time without carrying out periodic inspection work on the drive shaft, thus simplifying this work easily. Can be planned. In addition, since the sensor is provided on the cross shaft, it is possible to monitor the progress of the damage of the drive shaft with high accuracy and obtain a more accurate diagnosis result.
According to the present invention, the data transmission unit that wirelessly transmits the detection data from the sensor for detecting damage to the drive shaft can be attached to the drive shaft of the rolling equipment. It is possible to accurately monitor the degree of progress of damage to the drive shaft, and it is possible to appropriately perform diagnosis of the drive shaft and maintenance work based on the diagnosis result.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a data transmission unit for a drive shaft, a lid for a bearing cup grease injection hole, and a drive shaft monitoring system according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a drive shaft used in rolling equipment of a steel manufacturer, and FIG. 2 is a view of a main part of a cross joint from the axial direction of the drive shaft (including a partial cross section). . In the figure, a
The

The data transmission unit 1 that performs wireless data transmission is mounted inside the mounting

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the data transmission unit 1 is connected to the

Similarly to the data transmission unit 1, the other
As shown in FIG. 4, the drive shaft monitoring system S includes

Further, in addition to the above-described computer functions of the
In the present embodiment configured as described above, since the data transmission units 1 to 4 including the

In the above description, the case where the data transmission unit is disposed inside the grease injection hole has been described. However, the present invention is connected to a sensor for detecting damage to the drive shaft, and the detection data from the sensor is used. Any wireless transmission data transmission unit may be attached to the bearing cup. If the operation of the drive shaft is not hindered, the data transmission unit may be attached outside the bearing cup. Further, for example, a concave portion or the like may be provided on the surface of the bearing cup, and the data transmission unit may be disposed inside the cup. However, as described above, the case where the data transmission unit is arranged inside the grease injection hole formed in the bearing cup is preferable because the unit can be attached easily and at low cost.
Further, in the above description, the case where the attachment portion of the lid is opened has been described. However, a configuration that protects the data transmission portion attached to the lid by providing a sealing member that seals the opening portion of the lid. But you can. However, when such a sealing member is made of metal, it is preferable to pull out the antenna to the outside.
In the above description, the case where the battery power source using two AA batteries is disposed above the wireless substrate and provided in the grease injection hole is described. For example, a button battery may be attached to a battery holder provided on the sensor substrate, or a lead storage battery constituting a power supply unit common to the four data transmission units may be installed on the cross shaft. However, as described above, the case where the battery power source is arranged on the opening side of the hole is preferable because the battery replacement operation can be easily performed.
In the above description, the case of using one displacement sensor directly connected to one data transmission unit has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the installation of the data transmission unit and the sensor is not limited thereto. The number or sensor type (form) is not limited to the above. That is, the sensor only needs to detect a physical quantity that changes due to damage to the drive shaft (surface peeling at the trunnion). For example, a vibration sensor is disposed opposite to the center of the cross shaft and It may be configured to detect vibration. Further, detection data such as force, temperature, or iron powder concentration in grease that increases in accordance with the above-described peeling may be acquired. Further, a plurality of sensors may be connected to one data transmission unit, and the detection data may be transmitted for each sensor from this unit.
In the above description, the case where the drive shaft monitoring system using the data transmission unit for transmitting the sensor detection data to the outside is described, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the receiver Instead of using a transceiver capable of transmitting an instruction signal from a panel computer or the like, a system capable of bidirectional wireless communication in which the transmission circuit of the wireless board is provided with a reception function for receiving a transmission wave from the transceiver It can also be applied to.
