BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for obtaining a substantially uncharged electrically insulating sheet by balancing the positive and negative charges on the front and back of a charged sheet in which a positive charging area and a negative charging area are mixed.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Charging in an electrically insulating sheet such as a plastic film may cause quality problems in the post-processing process. For example, when there is a locally strong charge or discharge mark called a static mark resulting from electrostatic discharge, ink or coating agent spots are formed during printing on the sheet or coating of the coating agent. Moreover, in the manufacturing process of vapor deposition films for capacitors and packaging, static marks may appear after film processing such as vacuum vapor deposition or sputtering. Therefore, in order to avoid such problems, conventionally, a grounded brush-like conductor is brought close to the charging sheet, and a corona discharge is generated at the tip of the brush to eliminate static electricity, and a needle-like electrode is commercially available. 2. Description of the Related Art An AC type or DC type voltage application type static eliminator that uses a high frequency voltage or a high DC voltage to generate a corona discharge for static elimination is used.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art described above, to balance the positive and negative charges of a single-leaf charged sheet in which a positively charged area and a negatively charged area are mixed, and to balance the positive and negative sides. substantially producing non-charged electrically insulating sheet, to provide a very simple way.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides ions having different polarities generated by corona discharge under a DC electric field on both surfaces of a single-leaf charged sheet in which a positively charged region and a negatively charged region are mixed. Directing and attracting positive ions directed to one surface of the charged sheet and negative ions directed to the other surface of the charged sheet with the charged sheet sandwiched between them, either the front or back of the charged sheet Positive ions are collected on the other side of the charging sheet, and negative ions are collected on the other side of the charging sheet, and positive ions on one side of the charging sheet and negative ions on the other side of the charging sheet are collected on the charging sheet. to equilibrium on the front and back of, and is characterized in the manufacturing method of an insulating sheet. It is also preferable to use a sheet having a discharge mark as the charging sheet. It is also preferable to use a sheet that has been subjected to corona discharge treatment as the charging sheet. Furthermore, also preferable to neutralize the charge sheet by equilibrium and negative ions of the positive ions and the other surface of the charge sheet on the front and back either side of the charge sheet on the front and back of the charge sheet.
In addition, the charged sheet is subjected to corona discharge treatment on the electrically insulating sheet, and then directs ions having different polarities generated by corona discharge under a DC electric field on both surfaces of the electrically insulating sheet. front and back either to one of the positive ions of the surface of the negative ions of the other surface of the charge sheet is equilibrium on the front and back of the electrical insulating sheet is also preferred. Furthermore, it is also preferable to measure the charge amount of the charging sheet and control the amount of ions generated based on the obtained charge amount.
[0009]
The charged sheet to which the present invention is applied is an electrically insulating sheet. Typical examples include sheets and sheets of plastic films and fabrics, but polyethylene terephthalate film, polyethylene naphthalate film, polypropylene film, polystyrene film, polycarbonate film, polyimide film, polyphenylene sulfide film, nylon film, A plastic film such as an aramid film or a polyethylene film is particularly suitable for applying the present invention because of its high electrical insulation.

Examples and Comparative Examples
In the following examples and comparative examples, the effect of static elimination was evaluated by measuring the surface potential of the film before static elimination and the surface potential of the film after static elimination. Further, the toner used in the copying machine was sprinkled on the portion to be neutralized of the film after neutralization, and the charged state was examined by the state of the adhesion. This is a simple identification method of charge distribution called the dust figure method (“Static Handbook” edited by the Electrostatic Society, 1981).
(Example 1) In the form shown in FIG. 4, a biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate film having a width of 200 mm and a thickness of 12 μm was used as the charging sheet S, and was run at a speed of 50 m / min. 【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, as is clear from the comparison between the example and the comparative example, the positive and negative charges of the single-leaf charged sheet in which the positively charged region and the negatively charged region are mixed are balanced, and balance, the substantially uncharged insulating sheet can be produced in a very simple way. That is, even a single-leaf charged sheet in which a positively charged region and a negatively charged region are mixed can be effectively discharged with a small number of discharging electrodes, and a charged pattern can be removed. Therefore, compared with the above-described conventional technology, the same static elimination ability can be made compact and inexpensive, and the electrical insulating sheet obtained by the present invention has charging defects such as static marks and corona treatment marks. Therefore, inconveniences such as poor deposition in the post-processing process and non-uniform distribution of the coating agent are unlikely to occur.
