Claims (5)
- 二層記録可能なディスクにおいて情報を記録するための記録方法であり、実際の最適書き込み出力を決定するための最適出力制御(OPC)プロシージャを行なうステップを有し、前記最適出力制御プロシージャが、前記ディスクにおけるOPC領域において行なわれる記録方法であって、前記二層ディスクの第2層において前記情報を記録する前に、前記第2層上の前記OPC領域において、前記最適出力制御プロシージャが行なわれ、前記第2層上の前記OPC領域が、データストリームが前記二層ディスクの第1層から前記第2層に切り換わる半径の近くに設置され、記録されるべき前記情報が、前記二層ディスクの前記第1層と前記第2層とに実質的に均等に配分され、両方の層において前記半径より先には情報が書き込まれないように前記第1層と前記第2層とに書き込まれることを特徴とする記録方法。
- 前記第2層上の前記OPC領域が、前記二層ディスクの前記第2層のミドルゾーンに設置される請求項1に記載の記録方法。
- 他の最適出力制御(OPC)プロシージャを行なう他のステップを有し、前記他の最適出力制御プロシージャが、該他の最適出力制御プロシージャによる使用のために確保される、前記二層ディスクの前記層のうちの少なくとも1つにおける固定位置に設置される他のOPC領域において行なわれる請求項1又は2に記載の記録方法。
- 前記他の最適出力制御プロシージャが、前記二層ディスクの前記第1層に設置される第1固定OPC領域と、前記二層ディスクの前記第2層に設置される第2固定OPC領域とにおいて行なわれる請求項3に記載の記録方法。
- 請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の方法のいずれかを用いるために採用される二層記録可能なディスクにおいて情報を記録するための記録装置。
