Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin or a disposable diaper, and more particularly to an absorbent article in which surface liquid flow is prevented and liquid leakage is prevented.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-71105 discloses a large-diameter recess formed by partially compressing a surface sheet and an absorbent body, and the surface sheet positioned in the large-diameter recess is further recessed than the large-diameter recess. And the absorber of the sanitary goods which has a small diameter recessed part made to fuse | melt with the said absorber is described. This absorbent body has a two-stage nesting structure for the recesses due to a decrease in liquid permeability caused by the surface sheet forming a melt film when the top sheet and the absorber are fused to form a recess. By fusing the topsheet and the absorber only in the deeper concave portion, the liquid permeability is prevented from lowering. However, in this absorbent body, if the area of the large-diameter concave portion is large, a large step occurs between the portion of the surface sheet where the large-diameter concave portion is present and the non-existing portion when worn, and the feel is greatly different and the touch is reduced. End up. In addition, the large-diameter concave portion becomes a depressed space, and there is nothing in the space that obstructs the flow of the liquid. Only part of the liquid is taken into the large-diameter recess, and the entire space cannot be effectively used for liquid absorption.
[0003]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-108262 discloses a sanitary napkin having a pressing groove extending in the longitudinal direction, and the groove having a high pressing portion and a low pressing portion that are alternately arranged in the length direction of the bottom surface. Is described. However, in this napkin, since the compressed groove is continuously formed in a linear shape, deformation inhibition that the napkin is difficult to bend in the direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the compressed groove occurs. As a result, it is not easy to fit the napkin to the wearer's body.
[0004]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 64-45801 describes an absorbent pad in which a tuft zone and a channel for inducing liquid are formed on the entire surface. The channel includes a storage area and a transport area, the storage area having a density greater than the density of the tuft area but lower than the density of the transport area. Transport areas are separated from each other by storage areas. However, this absorbent pad is intended to diffuse the liquid widely due to the surface uneven structure of the pad, and when the surface sheet is used by being overlaid on the pad, the surface sheet is the surface of the pad. The uneven structure along the uneven structure is not obtained. Therefore, the excreted liquid easily flows along the surface of the surface sheet, and liquid leakage is likely to occur.
[0005]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can effectively absorb excreted liquid, can prevent surface liquid flow and liquid leakage resulting therefrom, and has a good fit.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to an absorbent article having a liquid-permeable surface sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and a liquid-retaining absorbent interposed between the two sheets, and the surface on the surface sheet side. By providing an absorbent article having a large number of substantially circular concave portions formed by integrally compressing a sheet and the absorbent body and having convex portions formed by raising the bottom surfaces of the concave portions in the concave portions. Is achieved.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will be described below based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. The top view of the sanitary napkin as an example of the absorbent article of this invention is shown by FIG. FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along line II-II in FIG.
[0008]
As shown in FIG. 1, the napkin 1 of this embodiment is used by being mounted on the wearer's underwear. The napkin 1 has a substantially vertically long shape, a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and a liquid-retaining absorbent body 4 interposed between both sheets 2 and 3. have. The top sheet 2 is folded from the left and right side edges of the absorbent body 4 to the lower surface side to cover the left and right side parts of the lower surface of the absorbent body 4. And the surface sheet 2 folded in the lower surface of the absorber 4 is joined with the back surface sheet 3 by predetermined joining means, such as a hot-melt adhesive. Moreover, both the surface sheet 2 and the back surface sheet 3 are extended outward from the front and rear end edges of the absorber 4, and the extended surface sheet 2 and the back surface sheet 3 are bonded by a predetermined joining means such as heat sealing. It is joined. An adhesive (not shown) for fixing the napkin 1 to the clothes is applied to the outer surface of the back sheet 3. A plurality of adhesives are applied in stripes extending in the width direction of the napkin 1.
[0009]
As a component member of the napkin 1 having the above configuration, the same members as those used for a normal napkin can be used. For example, as the surface sheet 2, a nonwoven fabric made of thermoplastic resin fibers or a holed film of thermoplastic resin can be used. As the back sheet 3, a film made of a thermoplastic resin can be used. The film may have moisture permeability. As the absorbent body 4, it is possible to use a material obtained by wrapping a mixture of pulp and superabsorbent polymer particles with absorbent paper.
[0010]
A large number of substantially circular recesses 5 are formed on the surface of the napkin 1 on the surface sheet 2 side. The recess 5 is formed by integrally compressing the top sheet 2 and the absorber 4. Moreover, the recessed part 5 is disperse | distributed to the right-and-left both sides of the napkin 1 intermittently and independently independently substantially over the whole longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. FIG. And the recessed part 5 is not formed in the area | region along the vertical center line of the napkin 1. FIG. In each recess 5, there is one protrusion 6 formed by raising the bottom surface of the recess 5. The convex part 6 has a curved outline in a longitudinal section. The convex portion 6 is located at a substantially central portion in the concave portion 5.
[0011]
By having such a concave portion 5 and a convex portion 6, in the napkin 1, even if the excreted liquid flows along the surface of the topsheet 2, it flows into the concave portion 5, and the side walls of the concave portion 5 and the convex portion 6. Quickly absorbed through. Moreover, since the recessed part 5 is intermittently formed independently independently, it is easy to bend (it is easy to deform | transform) in any direction compared with the conventional napkin in which the linear compression groove is formed, and a wearer's Fits snugly. By these actions, surface liquid flow and liquid leakage resulting therefrom are effectively prevented. Furthermore, since the convex part 5 is formed in the concave part 6, compared with the case where the convex part is not formed (for example, when the large-diameter concave part described in JP-A-8-71105 described above is formed). Thus, the difference in feel between the portion where the recess 6 is formed and the portion where the recess 6 is not formed is less worrisome, and the discomfort during wearing is eliminated. In particular, since the concave portion 5 is unevenly distributed on both the left and right side portions of the napkin 1 where the wearer's skin is most likely to hit, if the convex portion 6 does not exist, it is easy to feel a sense of incongruity due to the concave portion 5, Since the convex part 6 is formed in the concave part 5, there is no possibility of that. In addition, the liquid that has flowed into the recess 5 is dispersed by the protrusions 6 formed in the recess 5, so that the absorption of the liquid is also promoted.
[0012]
When attention is paid to a region between the recesses 5 adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 (a region indicated by A in FIG. 1), the recess 5 is positioned so that the recess is located at any position on the left and right of the region A. It is arranged. As a result, when the discharged liquid flows in the width direction of the napkin 1, the liquid always flows into any one of the recesses 5, and the path of the liquid flow is dispersed to effectively prevent side leakage. In the present embodiment, since the recesses 5 are arranged in a staggered pattern as shown in FIG. 1, the liquid flowing in the width direction of the napkin always flows into any of the recesses 5. The distance between adjacent recesses 5 in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 (the length connecting the centers of the recesses 5) is 5 to 30 mm, particularly 8 to 15 mm, although it depends on the size of the recesses. And it is preferable from the point of improvement of a feeling of wearing. For the same reason, the distance between the adjacent recesses 5 in the width direction of the napkin 1 is preferably 3 to 30 mm, particularly 4 to 10 mm.
[0013]
The height of the convex portion 6 is substantially equal to or smaller than the depth of the concave portion 5. In other words, the top portion 6a of the convex portion 6 may not protrude greatly above the surface B passing through the peripheral edge 5a of the concave portion 5 (this surface is the same surface as the skin contact surface of the napkin 1). preferable. When the convex part 6 protrudes larger than this surface B, the convex part 6 tends to hit a wearer's skin and tends to cause a sense of incongruity. When the height of the convex portion 6 is smaller than the depth of the concave portion 5, the height of the convex portion 6 is high enough to allow the convex portion 6 to come into contact with the wearer's skin when the napkin 1 is worn. . Although depending on the thickness of the absorber 4 and the size of the convex portion 6 and the concave portion 5, the height of the convex portion 6 is 0.5 to 1.2 times, particularly 0.7 to 1 times the depth of the concave portion 5. Preferably there is. As a result, when the napkin 1 is attached, a part of the convex portion 6 comes into contact with the skin effectively, and the occurrence of a step due to the formation of the concave portion 5 becomes less worrisome. The feeling of discomfort disappears further. In addition, as described above, the convex portion 6 has a curved contour in its longitudinal section, so that it does not give an uncomfortable feeling when it comes into contact with the skin.
[0014]
The height of the convex part 6 refers to the length from the deepest part in the concave part 5 to the top part 6 a of the convex part 6. The depth of the recess 5 refers to the length from the deepest part in the recess 5 to the peripheral edge 5 a of the recess 6. The depth of the recess 5 itself is preferably 0.5 to 5 mm, and particularly preferably 2 to 4 mm, from the viewpoint of the balance between securing the absorption capacity of the excreted liquid and wearing feeling. For the same reason, the depth of the concave portion 6 with respect to the thickness of the absorber 4 is 10 to 99%, particularly 50 to 90%, and the height of the convex portion 6 is 0.5 to 6 mm, particularly 2 to 5 mm. It is preferable.
[0015]
Recess 5, the area in a plan view including the convex portion 6, i.e., that area of the region formed by the peripheral edge of the concave portion 5 is 25~400Mm 2, in particular 50 to 200 mm 2 is the absorption capacity of the excreted liquid It is preferable from the viewpoint of the balance between securing the feeling and wearing feeling. Moreover, the bending rigidity value of the napkin 1 is in an appropriate range, which is preferable from the viewpoint of being easily fitted to the body.
[0016]
For the same reason, the total sum of the areas of the protrusions 5 with respect to the area of the skin contact surface of the napkin 1 is preferably 1 to 30%, particularly 5 to 20%.
[0017]
On the other hand, the area of the convex portion 6 in plan view is preferably 5 to 100 mm 2 , particularly 25 to 60 mm 2 from the viewpoint of obtaining a comfortable wearing feeling and maintaining the shape of the napkin 1. Here, the area of the convex part 6 means the area of a region defined by connecting the deepest part in the concave part 5.
[0018]
The napkin 1 of the present embodiment is preferably manufactured by the following method. First, the top sheet 2 is overlaid on the upper surface of the absorber 4. Next, a pressure is passed between the pair of embossing rolls. One of the pair of embossing rolls is a smooth roll, and the other is an engraving roll. The engraving pattern of the engraving roll is a pattern in which a donut-shaped recess is formed. Then, during clamping, the absorber 4 is passed between the rolls so that the absorber 4 faces the smooth roll and the topsheet 2 faces the engraving roll. The embossing roll may not be heated or may be heated to a predetermined temperature. An appropriate temperature for heating the embossing roll is selected according to the material of the topsheet 2, the thickness of the absorber 4, the line speed, and the like. After the clamping, both side portions of the top sheet 2 are folded to the lower surface side of the absorbent body 4, and the back sheet is overlapped on the lower surface side of the absorbent body 4, and the folded top sheet 2 and back sheet 3 are hot melt adhesive. It joins by joining means, such as. Furthermore, the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 extending in the front-rear direction from the front and rear ends of the absorbent body 4 are joined by a joining means such as heat sealing, whereby the napkin 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is obtained.
[0019]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The second embodiment will be described only with respect to differences from the first embodiment, and the description detailed with respect to the first embodiment will be appropriately applied to points that are not particularly described. 3 and 4, the same members as those in FIGS. 1 and 2 are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0020]
In the napkin 1 in the present embodiment, two types of recesses 5 and 7 are formed. Both concave portions 5 and 7 are unevenly distributed at the position of the rear portion of the napkin 1 so as to extend in the width direction. And the recessed part does not exist in the center part and front part of the napkin 1. FIG. The napkin 1 of this embodiment is excellent in preventing leakage from the rear end of the napkin 1.
[0021]
The recessed part 5 is the same as the recessed part in the napkin of 1st Embodiment. Another recess 7 has a larger diameter than the recess 5. Three convex portions 6 are formed in the concave portion 7. Each convex part 6 is arrange | positioned in the position where the line which connects each convex part 6 draws an equilateral triangle. Each convex portion 6 is arranged so that the position of the center of gravity of the regular triangle coincides with the position of the center of the concave portion 7. By disposing the plurality of convex portions 6 in the concave portion 7, the flow of the liquid flowing into the concave portion 7 is further dispersed in the concave portion 7, so that the liquid can be absorbed more quickly. Moreover, since the surface area in the recessed part 7 also increases, absorption of a liquid becomes quicker also by this.
[0022]
When attention is paid to the area between the recesses 5 and 7 adjacent in the width direction of the napkin, the recesses 5 and 7 are arranged so that the recess is located at any position before and after the area. As a result, when the excreted liquid flows toward the rear end of the napkin, it always flows into one of the recesses 5 and 7, and the path of the liquid flow is dispersed to effectively prevent back leakage. . In this case, of the recesses 5 and 7, the small-diameter recess 5 is disposed closer to the center of the napkin 1 and the large-diameter recess 7 is disposed closer to the end of the napkin 1. The bending rigidity value of 1 becomes a more appropriate range, and the followability to the movement of the body is improved. Further, of the recesses 5 and 7, the recess 5 having one protrusion 6 is arranged closer to the center of the napkin 1, and the recess 7 having a plurality of protrusions 6 is relatively end of the napkin 1. By disposing closer, the step of the concave portion at a position closer to the end, which is a part that is relatively in contact with the skin than the central portion, is further reduced, and the touch is improved. In particular, in the present embodiment, the small-diameter concave portion 5 is arranged at a relatively central portion of the napkin 1 and is surely formed in any large-diameter concave portion 7 when the excreted liquid flows toward the rear end of the napkin. By arranging the large-diameter concave portion 7 so as to flow in, rear leakage is completely prevented.
[0023]
The present invention is not limited to the embodiment. For example, in each of the above-described embodiments, the concave portion is unevenly distributed in a predetermined region of the napkin. Instead, the concave portion may exist in the entire area of the skin contact surface of the napkin. However, from the viewpoint of further reducing the uncomfortable feeling of wearing, it is preferable that the concave portion is unevenly distributed in a predetermined region of the napkin. As a pattern for unevenly distributing the recesses, in addition to the pattern in the above-described embodiment, a pattern in which the recesses are unevenly distributed so as to extend in the width direction at the position of the front part of the napkin, or a ring that substantially surrounds the excretion site of the wearer A pattern in which the concave portions are unevenly distributed so as to form the film is mentioned.
[0024]
Further, in the first embodiment, one type of recess is formed, but instead of this, the size is different so that a recess having a larger (larger diameter) is positioned gradually toward the side edge of the napkin. You may form a recessed part more than a seed | species.
[0025]
The present invention is not limited to the sanitary napkin described above, and can be similarly applied to other absorbent articles such as incontinence pads, panty liners, and disposable diapers.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
According to the absorbent article of the present invention, excreted liquid can be effectively absorbed, and surface liquid flow and liquid leakage resulting therefrom can be prevented.
Moreover, according to the absorbent article of this invention, a feeling of fitting becomes favorable.
