Description
【0001】
【0086】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement in a camera capable of switching shooting control such as focus and exposure according to a subject to be shot.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, a camera using a silver halide film emits a mechanical opening / closing sound, that is, a so-called shutter sound associated with an opening / closing operation of a shutter mechanism when a release button is operated. If there is no shutter sound, the photographer or the person who is the subject may not know the timing of the end of exposure.
[0003]
Normally, an electronic camera or the like does not have a mechanical shutter mechanism, and no shutter sound is emitted during exposure. In view of this, there has been proposed a camera that gives a sense of security by switching the display in the finder or transmitting a sound at the release timing to instruct the photographer of the photographing timing.
[0004]
For example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-177404, when a still image is taken with an electronic camera or a video camera, a sound corresponding to a shutter sound is generated along with a release operation, and a person who becomes a photographer or a subject Describes a technique that makes it possible to confirm the end of shooting, makes the shooting timing natural, and makes it easier to use a silent camera when shooting. Similarly, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-56312 discloses a technique in which when a release operation is performed in an electronic camera, the display in the finder is switched to a predetermined display indicating the end of exposure so that the photographer can visually recognize it. Proposed.
[0005]
Moreover, with the personal use of cameras, not only can you take average photos, but you can also take photos with unique effects by selecting various shooting modes according to the user's will. Is widely available.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In conventional cameras with various shooting modes, when shooting is performed after selecting and setting the desired shooting mode, there is no notification as to whether or not the shooting mode has been executed. The image could not be confirmed without development printing.
[0007]
Even if it was intended to select and set from various shooting modes, it was not possible to know whether or not it was executed according to the setting.
[0008]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-56312 described above switches the display in the viewfinder during exposure to make it easy to understand only the timing of the release, and does not allow display corresponding to various other shooting modes. .
[0009]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-177404 makes an electronic camera emit a shutter sound corresponding to a conventional film camera, and it is not possible to notify about switching of a photographing mode as described above.
[0010]
On the other hand, as judged by the recent presentation at the photographic society, manufacturers have not yet been able to follow the diversification of users, and at the end, they are going to introduce mass-produced products for a simple market that has left a large mass. It's almost finished. This simple market is a type of user image that can be divided into categories such as Shibuya, a high school girl in Ikebukuro, and a young OL who enjoys traveling abroad. Certainly, although this market can be expected to have a decent market size, it is also true that these special user groups are minorities on a global scale. If you keep making products that focus only on such special solutions, you may lose sight of the right direction in the future.
[0011]
Therefore, instead of the idea of providing the same product in large quantities to standardized groups, it is necessary to try to deal with more users by refining products that respect the individuality and sensitivity of individual users. It is.
[0012]
Therefore, according to the present invention, the shooting mode is surely set by emitting a sound pattern or sound set in advance or arbitrarily set at the time of exposure by selecting and setting a shooting mode that exhibits special effects developed with diversification of cameras. It is an object of the present invention to provide a camera that can notify a photographer that the effect has been made at the time of exposure and allows the photographer to concentrate on shooting without having to confirm the setting visually.
[0014]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention Controls the shooting mechanism that performs ranging, photometry, and exposure for shooting, a sound generation unit that generates sound with a plurality of sound generation patterns, and changes in the operation and shooting mode of the shooting mechanism for performing shooting, and the sound generation When the pattern is associated with the above action and set so that a different utterance pattern that can be identified is emitted, and when the action instructed at the time of shooting with the camera is one of the operation completion, non-operation and malfunction A control unit that controls the sound generation unit to generate the set sound generation pattern. Then, when associating the sound generation pattern with the operation, the control unit deletes the association between the sound generation pattern and the other operation if the sound generation pattern has already been associated with another operation. Provide a camera.
[0016]
The camera having the above-described configuration emits a sound pattern or various sounds that are set in advance or arbitrarily set in association with the shooting mode when the shooting mode is selected and set, and in the desired shooting mode. In addition to visual confirmation of settings by notifying that shooting has been performed correctly and that has taken effect at the time of exposure, confirmation of settings and warnings as sound, and effects of set shooting modes Let the photographer know that has affected the shooting.
[0017]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0018]
FIG. 1A shows a schematic configuration of a camera according to the first embodiment of the present invention and will be described. In the following description, “shooting mode” is a generic term for various modes related to shooting such as distance measurement, photometry, exposure conditions, and continuous shooting. In addition to electronic sounds that can be freely adjusted in length, height, sound, mechanical sounds such as shutter sounds, animal sounds, musical instrument sounds, natural sounds such as wind and waves, and languages It basically includes a message that suggests a sound that allows humans to distinguish the difference.

As described above, in the present embodiment, since the sound generation pattern at the time of distance measurement is changed according to the distance measurement point of the distance measurement mode that is set, any of the photographing compositions shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B is used. In this case, it is possible to prevent a photograph having a focus at a position different from the user's intention from being taken. In addition, since the user can check the shooting mode set while looking through the viewfinder, the user can keep his / her vision focused on framing and never miss a photo opportunity.
[0047]
In this embodiment, an example in which a sound is produced when the sound generation timing is in focus has been described. However, if it is troublesome, a sound may be selectively produced during exposure.
[0048]
In addition, since the sound corresponding to the demonstration sound generation at the time of mode setting and the sound generation at the time of exposure is generated, the user can check in advance in what shooting mode what sound should be generated.

Also, since the human pupil is usually wide in dark places, exposure is performed by irradiating the strobe light in this state, and depending on the distance to the subject, the moment when the strobe light is reflected through the pupil to the retina of the subject is photographed. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6A, a so-called “red-eye phenomenon” occurs in which the pupil of the subject shines with an unnatural color.
[0052]
The red-
[0053]
The pre-emission by the multiple times of light emission is less effective when the exposure is performed after one pre-emission, and the operation of closing the pupil of the subject cannot be followed. In view of this, an effort is made to save time for constricting the pupil by repeatedly emitting light until exposure. However, some people mistake the pre-flash for the main flash and move before exposure. Therefore, in order to show the continuation of the pre-flash by applying this embodiment, as shown in FIG. During the pre-flash period A, a buzzer or the like may be continuously sounded to notify that the exposure operation is continuing. Of course, if the red-eye prevention mode is not set, there is no pre-flash, and there is no sound during period A in the figure.
[0054]
Next, a second embodiment will be described.
In the first embodiment described above, only the sound generation pattern by electronic sound has been described. However, a configuration may be provided in which a user can input and set sound using a microphone or the like.

This is because if the selected pronunciation pattern is output even in another shooting mode, the photographer is confused and the original effect is lost, so the storage unit 7 (and the audio memory 22) stores it in association with the shooting mode. Prior to this, the selected sound generation pattern is prevented from being emitted twice even if another shooting mode is selected. In addition, another shooting mode from which the association with the pronunciation pattern is deleted may be automatically assigned with another pronunciation pattern, or may be silenced by clearing the setting.
[0070]
Next, the shooting mode and the sound generation pattern are stored in the storage unit 7 (and the sound memory 22) in association with the shooting mode (step S49). After this storage is completed, the process returns to step S41.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the sound at the time of exposure is changed according to the flash mode, so that the user can confirm with his / her ears which shooting mode the flash has lit at every shooting.
[0075]
As a result, it is possible to provide a camera that can concentrate on framing and has a strong shutter chance. In addition, it is possible to easily and reliably recognize that the camera is moving according to the shooting mode selected by the user, and it is possible to provide a camera that can be used with peace of mind and is fun to shoot.
[0076]
Next, FIG. 10 shows a schematic configuration of a distance measuring unit using an autofocus technique called super combination AF as a fourth embodiment, and a camera equipped with the distance measuring unit will be described.

FIG. 10A shows a configuration example in which distance measurement is performed by detecting a subject position of the subject 31 by pre-emission.

In this determination, when the image pattern cannot be determined as the main subject, that is, when the position of the main subject cannot be specified (NO), after selecting the active method or the passive method in consideration of luminance information, etc. Then, distance measurement is focused on the central portion of the screen where the existence probability of the subject is high (step S64).

On the other hand, if it is determined in step S3 that the image pattern is the main subject (YES), the distance measurement is performed based on whether the image signal (optical signal) forming the image pattern is strong and has sufficient contrast. It is discriminated whether it is performed by the passive method or not (step S66).

In this determination, when sufficient contrast cannot be obtained by the image signal (optical signal) (YES), distance measurement by the active method is performed. Accordingly, the

Then, the position of the main subject is specified from the sound generation pattern, and the active method of distance measurement is selected, and the sound generation unit 409 notifies the user of the sound generation pattern 2 (voice) (step S71) and returns. .
