Description
【0001】
この種の方法に関する指摘は、例えばH.Treptowの論文(Chemiefasern/Textilindustrie誌、1985年6月号、411〜412ページ)から引用される。
【0017】
The present invention produces thin stufferbox-crimped tows from LOY, POY, or FOY filaments, and further sanitary fabrics such as diapers, sanitary bands, padding, further underwear pads, incontinence pads, etc. The present invention relates to a method for performing additional processing on an article.
[0002]
The upset crimping method is applied when manufacturing staple fibers overwhelmingly. For this purpose, a tow that is as thick as possible is first made, and for example, a plurality of yarn bundles are pulled out of the pot, put together in a tow, and led to the upsetting chamber. This is, for example, as disclosed in EP0139832B1. The total thickness of the tow reaches 4,000,000 dtex.
[0003]
In melt spinning, where many fibers are supplied for this type of upset hair reduction and spinning at a speed of 500 m / min or more, at a draw ratio of 1: 4, at least 2,000 m / min by direct drawing. A tow stretched at a speed of This tow is therefore stored in, for example, a pot, since it can be led to additional processing steps that are often not direct and often run at very low speeds. Furthermore, the thickness of such a tow is too large for the purpose of some additional processing, especially for producing sanitary textile articles.
[0004]
For the method described above, a set-up chamber crimping device is required, for example as described in EP0139832B1 and DE3440975A1.
[0005]
Hygiene articles that absorb liquids often include so-called “acquisition layers” made of non-woven materials containing fibers such as, for example, loose fiber fleeces. EP0937791A1 describes a method of forming this absorbent fiber layer with a thin tow made of continuous filaments.
[0006]
There is no description in this European patent application regarding upset curly hair, the total fineness of the tow introduced herein, or the method by which the filament tow described herein is to be produced in general.
[0007]
Many methods are already known for crimping fiber tows by the upset curling method, but there is an improved and flexible method that makes it easier to adapt to the requirements of the following process. It has been.
[0008]
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to operate economically and simply, adapt the total fineness of the crimped tow to the respective requirements in the additional processing, and the tow required in the subsequent additional processing steps. It is to provide a method for making a tow that can be adjusted directly to the thickness and that can be connected online to additional processing and that is particularly suitable for the manufacture of sanitary textile articles.
[0009]
This problem is solved by a method of producing a thin crimped tow from LOY, POY or FOY filaments, including: That is,
a) Wind individual LOY, POY, or FOY filament spun yarn on each reel.
b) The individual spun yarn is pulled out from the reel attached to the reel frame, and the number of reels and the fineness of the individual filament or spun yarn are matched to the total fineness of the thin crimped tow.
c) Twist filament spun yarn.
d) An adjusting agent is applied to the twisted filament spun yarn.
e) A filament spun yarn that has been twisted and applied with a regulating agent is drawn out by a drawing device comprising two drawing rollers (3, 4), but in the drawing device, the drawing, additional drawing, and / or tension comparison adjustment are slightly performed. This is done through simple tensile deformation and preheating.
f) The next heating and softening of the filament spun yarn is performed with a heating device in preparation for crimping.
g) Upsetting and crimping the heated filament spun tow.
[0010]
In this case, the total fineness of the installed tow is 2 to 9 ktex, preferably 3 to 8 ktex, and the upsetting crimp is carried out at a speed of 200 to 1000 m / min, preferably 300 to 800 m / min.
[0011]
The upsetting crimp is preferably carried out at a speed of 300 to 500 m / min.
[0012]
Within the framework of the invention, melt-spun polyester filaments are particularly advantageous.
[0013]
According to the invention, multicomponent filaments, in particular bicomponent filaments, are very advantageous.
[0014]
In a special embodiment of the method according to the invention, a plurality of filament types with different properties are applied.
[0015]
Yet another object is to apply the above-mentioned tow to the production of sanitary textile articles, especially in an on-line method. The method according to the invention can be carried out, for example, in the following manner.
[0016]
The LOY, POY, or FOY filament spun yarn introduced as a raw material can be produced by a method known per se. Some suggestions regarding this type of method are for example H.C. Quoted from Treptow's paper (Chemiefasern / Textilindustrie, June 1985, pages 411-412).
[0017]
LOY spun yarn is understood as a slightly oriented yarn, POY spun yarn is understood as a partially oriented yarn, and FOY spun yarn is a fully drawn yarn. (Full oriented yarn).
[0018]
In addition, methods for producing these filament spun yarns are well known to those skilled in the art, and according to this production, where the spun yarn can be obtained on the market, each of these filament spun yarns is wound on a reel. It is suitable for the purpose that the fineness of these filament spun yarns is in the range of 30 to 300 dtex. The fineness of each filament is preferably in the range of 1 to 16 dtex, particularly 3 to 10 dtex.
[0019]
The number of reels introduced depends on the fineness that the upset crimped tow to be produced should have. With a simple calculation, the required number of reels can be determined according to the fineness of the filament spun yarn. In this calculation, it should be taken into account that the spun yarn may be further drawn in some cases.
[0020]
The filament spun yarn is then twisted, followed by a modifier. This adjusting agent assists the end of the tow (bonding of filaments inside the tow) and is selected according to the purpose of introduction after the tow. For example, applications in the hygiene field require specially approved regulators for this. The number of twists or turns of the filament spun yarn that is useful for binding spun yarn should be chosen as low as possible. This is simply to ensure a perfect spill from the reel provided on the frame. After twisting, a homogeneous tow should be produced from the individual filament yarns. In this case, a high number of twists or number of turns of individual filament spun yarn seems to be an obstacle.
[0021]
Subsequently, the filament spun yarn twisted and applied with the adjusting agent is led to a drawing device composed of two drawing rollers, where the first drawing roller is at a temperature of 30 ° C. to 70 ° C. and the second drawing roller is 100 ° C. Operates at a temperature of ~ 190 ° C. Here, in the LOY and POY spun yarns, drawing suitable for the desired properties of the spun yarn is performed, and the draw ratio decreases as the pre-drawing of the spun yarn increases. In the FOY spun yarn, there is no need for further stretching, and as a result, only the tensile state is adjusted and adjusted by a slight tensile deformation (preferably 1% to 2%) in the stretching apparatus.
[0022]
The heating in the stretching apparatus serves as a pre-stage for the main heating performed in the subsequent heating apparatus. This main heating with low pressure steam at about 100 ° C. causes the filament to soften and bend easily due to the subsequent crimping process.
[0023]
After leaving the heating device, the tow is led to an upsetting crimper where it is crimped. It is suitable for the purpose to carry out upsetting crimp at a speed of 300 to 800 m / min. It is advantageous to carry out upset crimps in such a way that about 3-5 bends per cm of filament are produced. Particularly suitable as filament spun yarns are polyester filament spun yarns, particularly spun yarns based on polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polytetramethylene terephthalate, and the like.
[0024]
Multicomponent filaments, especially bicomponent filaments, are very suitable. Multicomponent, in particular bicomponent filaments, can be core-sheath type yarns or side-by-side bicomponent fibers.
[0025]
In yet another advantageous embodiment, the introduced filament yarn is composed of filaments of various properties. A so-called hybrid filament spun yarn, that is, a spun yarn having filaments made of polyester having different melting points, for example, a polyester spun yarn is preferable. However, hybrid yarns made from different polymers such as polyethylene filaments and polyester filaments can also be introduced.
[0026]
After leaving the crimper, the crimped tow is placed on a belt conveyor and placed in a cardboard box or rolled up, stored, and sent to the next stage.
[0027]
However, the crimped tow is preferably sent directly to the additional processing step, particularly online. As a result, the tow is advantageously further processed into sanitary articles having a woven structure, such as diapers, sanitary bands, fillings, incontinence pads.
[0028]
The manufacture of such sanitary articles is known per se. In this regard, reference is made to EP0937792A1, whose disclosure is included herein.
[0029]
FIG. 1 schematically shows the method according to the invention. A series of reels are attached to the
[0030]
Next, the filament spun yarn tow subjected to the adjusting agent is guided to a drawing device composed of two
[0031]
Next, the tow is sent to an upsetting crimper and the tow is installed, and in this case, it is suitable for the purpose to obtain 3 to 5 curved portions per cm.
[0032]
The invention is illustrated in more detail by the following examples.
[0033]
Examples 1 and 2
Fiber tows were made from POY and FOY polyester filaments. In this case, the following filament was used.
[0034]
Test with POY: 282 dtex, 48 filament FOY: 167 dtex, 32 filament POY 304 reels were attached in accordance with the number of reel carriages supported. The total number of filaments was twisted together through the inflow cam and pulled by a rotating roll through a regulator bath (typical regulator component, 50 ° C.). Stretching was performed at a stretch ratio of 2.0 between this roll that reached 45 ° C. and another rotating roll that reached 210 ° C. The whole stretched filament tow was then led through a steam box heated with low pressure steam (3 bar) to a upset crimper with a roll width of 15 mm and crimped. The fiber tow thus produced was placed in a plastic container. The process speed was 120 m / min. Based on the adjusted stretch ratio of 2.0, this resulted in an outflow rate of 240 m / min. The overall thickness of the manufactured tow was 4.3 ktex.
[0035]
The following textile technical data were confirmed for the tow produced.
[0036]
Fineness / dtex: 3.1
Tensile strength / cN / tex: 50
Tensile elongation /%: 42
Thermal shrinkage (200 ° C.) /%: 12
Crimp: Curved part / cm: 4
Testing with FOY Testing with FOY were carried out with adapted adjustments compared to POY. The basic differences are that the number of reels is as small as 210, stretching is omitted, and the temperature between the two rolls is as low as 112 ° C. The process speed was adjusted to 170 m / min. The overall tow thickness was 3.5 ktex.
[0037]
The following textile technical data were confirmed for the tow produced.
[0038]
Fineness / dtex: 5.2
Tensile strength / cN / tex: 44
Tensile elongation /%: 42
Thermal shrinkage (200 ° C.) /%: 9
Crimp: Curved part / cm: 5
It was particularly surprising that it was possible with the present invention to produce a thin tow that could be led directly to additional processing after upsetting crimp. In this way, the production of sanitary textile articles such as diapers, sanitary bands, fillings, incontinence pads, etc. can be directly linked to the upset crimping process online.
[0039]
The fineness required for the additional processing steps can be obtained in a simple manner using the method according to the invention.
[0040]
This method is very flexible and is also particularly suitable for operations where upsetting crimping and additional processing are to be performed in one operation. This method makes it possible to produce tows with different finenesses in a simple manner and to provide the total fineness required for each additional processing step.
