Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an optical scanning device such as an electrophotographic printer, facsimile, copying machine, and the like, and more particularly, to an optical box having an upper opening and a cover sealing structure that closes the opening.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional sealed structure of an optical box having an opening at the top of the optical scanning device and a cover for closing the opening, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-14930 discloses that an elastic material is applied to the peripheral edge of the upper end of the optical box and the outer surface of the cover. A structure that is brought into contact and fixed with screws has been proposed.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above conventional example, since the cover is fixed by a plurality of screws and there is an elastic material on the outer surface, there is a problem that it takes a lot of trouble to remove the cover.
[0004]
An object of the present invention is to provide an optical scanning device capable of improving the detachability while maintaining the sealing property of the cover in view of the problems of the conventional example.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the first means is an optical scanning device having an optical box having an upper opening and an optical scanning system housed therein, and a cover for closing the opening. The cover is made of resin. A locking piece that engages with the optical box, a portion that contacts the back side with respect to a locking portion of the locking piece with the optical box, and the optical box that faces the back side. An elastic member is inserted into the space between the two .
[0006]
The second means is characterized in that, in the first means, the elastic member is constituted by a leaf spring and is affixed to the casing and press-fitted into the space .
[0007]
Third means is characterized in that the elastic member in the first means constituted by rubber press-fitted into said space.
[0009]
The fourth means is characterized in that in the first to third means, a projection for releasing the locking of the locking piece is formed on the cover.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 is a configuration diagram showing an embodiment of an optical scanning device according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view showing the optical scanning device of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a configuration diagram showing a cover locking piece of FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing the locking structure of the locking piece and the housing of FIG. 3, FIG. 5 is a block diagram showing a leaf spring as an example of the elastic body, and FIG. 6 is a block diagram showing rubber as another example of the elastic body. FIG. 7 is a configuration diagram showing the protrusion of FIG. 3 in detail.
[0011]
The optical scanning device 1 shown in FIG. 1 is a known laser optical system, and laser light emitted from a semiconductor laser (also referred to as LD) 11 serving as a light source passes through a collimating lens 12, an aperture 13, and a cylinder lens 14 to be watched. The light is deflected by a polygon mirror 15 attached to a motor that rotates in the rotation direction (arrow direction), passes through the imaging lens 16, and reaches a photosensitive member (not shown). These optical components 11 to 16 are accommodated in a housing 2 opened upward as an optical box, and the opening of the housing 2 is closed by a cover 30 as shown in FIG. 2 in order to prevent entry of dust and the like.
[0012]
Further, a part of the scanning light is changed in direction by the reflecting member 21 in order to synchronize each scanning (writing is controlled based on the signal) prior to the scanning of the photosensitive member, and the correcting optical member ( Lens) 22, and reaches the photoelectric element 19 mounted on the same substrate as the drive substrate 18 of the laser light source 11. The photoelectric element 19 receives light and converts it into an electric signal to constitute a synchronization detecting means. Among the above, a unit composed of at least the light source 11, the collimating lens 12, the drive substrate 18 and the support member 17 that fixes and supports them is referred to as a light source device (LD unit) 10.
[0013]
Here, in a device using a laser as a light source, it is required by safety standards that safety measures should be taken so that the laser beam does not harm the human body (eyes, skin, etc.). It is required that the cover 30 cannot be removed without using a tool. In a simple example, if the cover 30 is stopped using a screw, a driver is required to remove the screw, so that the request can be satisfied.
[0014]
Further, when the cover 30 is made of a resin, as shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of hooks 31 (four in the example in the figure) are configured and provided so that they cannot be removed with fingers. Can meet your demands. However, since the cover 30 is required to withstand a force of 30 N, if it is configured only to be hooked, the hooking force has to be increased, and it is difficult to remove the cover. Therefore, in this case, the hooking force was made weaker than required in consideration of the ease of removal, and a structure was obtained in which the proof strength was obtained with a separate part. This separate part is configured to be removed using a tool.
[0015]
The cover 30 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. The cover 30 is made of resin and has a plurality of hook portions 31 (four in the illustrated example). When the tip of the hook 31 is hooked on the hooked portion 29 (see also FIG. 1) of the housing 2 as shown in FIG. 4, the cover 30 is closed between the hook 31 and the housing 2. A space 32 is created. If this space is filled, the hook portion 31 cannot move and the cover 30 cannot be removed. As a means for filling this space, another part of an elastic body is used.
[0016]
As Example 1, another component of the elastic body is configured by a leaf spring 35 as shown in FIG. The leaf spring 35 is attached to the housing 2 with a double-sided tape 34 or the like. The hook portion 31 of the cover 30 can be removed from the housing 2 by moving the spring 35 from the space 32 using a tool.
[0017]
As Example 2, another part of the elastic body is formed of rubber 36 as shown in FIG. The rubber 36 is packed in the cover 30 and the space 32 of the housing 2 using the elasticity of the rubber itself. When the cover 30 is removed, the rubber 36 is removed using a tool. If the housing 2 is black, it is convenient to distinguish the appearance by making the rubber 36 white, gray or other colors.
[0018]
Regarding the fixing of the cover 30, a screw may be used in addition to the hook portion 31 described above. Further, as a clue when removing the cover 30 from the housing 2, it is convenient to provide a protrusion 33 on the cover 30 as shown in FIGS.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the cover that closes the casing is configured to be hooked and stopped, and the claw is difficult to be removed by another elastic member, so that the sealing of the cover is maintained. The detachability can be improved.
[0020]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the separate part of the elastic body is constituted by the leaf spring and directly attached to the housing, so that the nails can be easily removed and will not be peeled off.
[0021]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, since the separate part of the elastic body is made of rubber and press-fitted between the cover and the casing, it can be attached by its own elasticity. Moreover, the distinction in appearance becomes easy by using a different color from the housing.
[0022]
According to the fourth aspect of the invention, the removal of the cover can be further simplified.
