Description
Claims (8)
- ‐交流電圧電源に結合する入力端子と、
‐前記入力端子に結合され、前記交流電圧電源により供給される交流電圧から直流電圧を発生させる交流‐直流変換器と、
‐ランプ電流を発生する、前記交流‐直流変換器に結合された直流‐交流変換器であって、第1スイッチング手段と、この第1スイッチング手段に結合され、この第1スイッチング手段を導通及び非導通にする第1制御回路と、この第1スイッチング手段に結合されたランプ接続端子及び第1インダクタの直列回路とを有する当該直流‐交流変換器と
を具える放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、
前記第1制御回路は、前記第1インダクタを流れる電流が高周波三角形波形を有し、この電流が各高周波周期中にゼロ値に達するように、前記第1インダクタを流れる電流を臨界不連続モードを用いて制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする放電ランプ駆動用安定器。 - 請求項1に記載の放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、前記交流‐直流変換器が、第2インダクタと、第2スイッチング手段と、この第2スイッチング手段に結合され、この第2スイッチング手段を導通及び非導通とする第2制御回路とを有し、前記第2制御回路は、前記第2インダクタを流れる電流が高周波三角形波形を有し、この電流が各高周波周期中にゼロ値に達するように、前記第2インダクタを流れる電流を臨界不連続モードを用いて制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする放電ランプ駆動用安定器。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、前記第1インダクタを流れる電流の平均値が実質的に方形の波形となるようにした放電ランプ駆動用安定器。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、前記直流‐交流変換器がフィルタを有している放電ランプ駆動用安定器。
- 請求項2に記載の放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、前記第2インダクタを流れる電流の平均値が正弦波形状を有するとともに前記交流電圧電源により供給される交流電圧とほぼ同相となるようにしてある放電ランプ駆動用安定器。
- 請求項5に記載の放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、前記交流‐直流変換器がフィルタを有している放電ランプ駆動用安定器。
- 請求項1に記載の放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、前記直流‐交流変換器が、前記第1インダクタを流れる電流がゼロレベルにある時を測定するのに可飽和変圧器を有している放電ランプ駆動用安定器。
- 請求項2に記載の放電ランプ駆動用安定器において、前記交流‐直流変換器が、前記第2インダクタを流れる電流がゼロレベルにある時を測定するのに可飽和変圧器を有している放電ランプ駆動用安定器。
