Description
Claims (10)
- 第1の通信プロトコルを使用する第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールと、
前記第1の通信プロトコルと異なる第2の通信プロトコルを使用し、前記第2の通信プロトコルの周波数上にある外部信号との干渉を回避するための制御装置を備える第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールと、
前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールと前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールの間に結合され、前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールによるパケットの送信又は受信に応じてブロッキング信号を生成し前記制御装置に提供する仲介装置と、を備え、
前記ブロッキング信号は前記制御装置の受信信号強度表示チャネルに送られ、前記ブロッキング信号は、前記第2の通信プロトコルが用いる周波数範囲に含まれる周波数を有する信号の存在を示唆し、
前記制御装置は、前記ブロッキング信号を受信した場合、前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールからのデータの送信を延期する、電子装置。 - 前記制御装置が衝突回避機能付キャリア感知多重アクセス[carrier sense multiple access - collision avoidance]原理の少なくとも一部分を実施する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールおよび前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールが、物理層の少なくとも一部分を共用する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記仲介装置が、前記使用可能通信の期間に一致する時間間隔中に前記ブロッキング信号を提供するように構成される、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールが、前記第1の通信プロトコルの周波数上にある追加の外部信号との干渉を回避するための追加の制御装置を備え、
前記仲介装置が、前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールを含む追加の使用可能通信に応じて追加のブロッキング信号を前記追加の制御装置に提供するようにさらに構成された、請求項1または4に記載の電子装置。 - 第1の通信プロトコルを使用する第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュール、および前記第1の通信プロトコルと異なる第2の通信プロトコルを使用し前記第2の通信プロトコルが用いる周波数範囲に含まれる周波数を有する信号との干渉を回避するための制御装置を備えた、第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールを備える通信システムを含む通信を制御する方法であって、
前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールによるパケットの送信又は受信を検出するステップと、
前記送信又は受信の検出に応じてブロッキング信号を生成し、前記制御装置に提供するステップと、
前記ブロッキング信号を前記制御装置の受信信号強度表示チャネルに送る段階と、
前記制御装置は、前記ブロッキング信号を受信した場合、前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールからのデータの送信を延期する段階と、を含み、
前記ブロッキング信号は、前記第2の通信プロトコルが用いる周波数範囲に含まれる周波数を有する信号の存在を示唆する、方法。 - 有線ネットワークと、
第1の外部装置と通信するために第1の通信プロトコルを使用し、前記有線ネットワークに結合された第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールと、
第2の外部装置と通信するために前記第1の通信プロトコルと異なる第2の通信プロトコルを使用し、前記有線ネットワークに結合され、前記第2の通信プロトコルが用いる周波数範囲に含まれる周波数を有する信号との干渉を回避するための制御装置を備える第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールと、
前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールによるパケットの送信又は受信に応じてブロッキング信号を生成し、前記制御装置に提供するために、前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールおよび前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールに結合された仲介装置と、を備え、
前記ブロッキング信号は前記制御装置の受信信号強度表示チャネルに送られ、前記ブロッキング信号は、前記第2の通信プロトコルが用いる周波数範囲に含まれる周波数を有する信号の存在を更に示唆し、
前記制御装置は、前記ブロッキング信号を受信した場合、前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールからのデータの送信を延期する、通信システム。 - 前記仲介装置が、前記有線ネットワークを介して前記制御装置に結合されている、請求項7に記載の通信システム。
- 前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールが、前記第1の通信プロトコルの周波数上にある追加の外部信号との干渉を回避するための追加の制御装置を備え、
前記仲介装置が、前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールを含む追加の使用可能通信に応じて追加のブロッキング信号を前記追加の制御装置に提供するように構成される、請求項7または8に記載の通信システム。 - 前記第1の無線トランシーバ・モジュールおよび前記第2の無線トランシーバ・モジュールが、物理層の少なくとも一部分を共用する、請求項7に記載の通信システム。
