BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fuel injection valve used in a common rail system of a diesel engine, and more particularly to a fuel injection valve provided with means for detecting a lift amount of a needle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a common rail fuel injection system of a diesel engine, high pressure fuel is accumulated in a common rail common to each cylinder, and a nozzle needle of a fuel injection valve is lifted at a predetermined timing according to the operating state of the engine to inject fuel. Yes. The fuel injection valve has a control chamber that applies a back pressure to the nozzle needle, and is configured to control the lift of the nozzle needle by increasing or decreasing the pressure in the control chamber with an electronic control valve. A control unit that opens and closes the electronic control valve calculates an optimum fuel injection amount based on the engine speed, the accelerator opening, and the like so that the fuel injection valve is opened for a predetermined time at a predetermined fuel injection timing. In addition, a command signal is output to the electronic control valve.
[0003]
In recent years, in order to further improve the accuracy of this fuel injection control, it has been studied to directly detect the lift amount of the nozzle needle. As a conventional technique, for example, an induction coil is disposed around a nozzle needle or a member that interlocks with the nozzle needle, and a lift amount is measured from an inductance change of the induction coil. Since the induction coil is provided, there is a problem with the fuel seal when the conductor is drawn out.
[0004]
On the other hand, a distance piece is provided so as to surround the nozzle needle in order to isolate it from the high-pressure fuel, a coil for detecting the amount of lift is arranged inside the distance piece that does not contact the high-pressure fuel, and a permanent magnet is provided on the inner periphery of the distance piece. And the lift amount is detected from the resistance value of a magnetic circuit composed of a distance piece, a nozzle body, a nozzle needle, a permanent magnet, and the like. In this way, even if the entire nozzle needle is located in the high-pressure fuel, only the permanent magnet is disposed in the high-pressure fuel section, and the coil can be kept out of contact with the high-pressure fuel. Absent.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, this technique uses the fact that when the nozzle needle is lifted, the gap between the members constituting the magnetic circuit changes and the magnetic circuit resistance through which the magnetic flux from the permanent magnet changes changes. There is a problem that the response of detection is limited by the magnetic response of the constituent members.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and can detect the lift amount of the nozzle needle with high response in a configuration in which the entire nozzle needle is located in high-pressure fuel, such as a fuel injection valve of a back pressure control system. An object is to obtain a fuel injection valve.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A fuel injection valve according to a first aspect of the present invention includes a control chamber that applies hydraulic pressure to a nozzle needle that opens and closes a nozzle hole, and a control valve that increases and decreases the hydraulic pressure of the control chamber, and the control valve is driven by an actuator. The nozzle needle is lifted by controlling the pressure in the control chamber. A magnet and a detection coil are provided opposite to each other in the lift direction of the nozzle needle, and one of the magnet and the detection coil is the nozzle needle. And the other is a lift amount detection unit fixed to a body member that defines and forms the control chamber on the nozzle needle side . The lift amount detection unit detects the lift amount of the nozzle needle from a change in the amount of magnetic flux generated by the magnet and applied to the detection coil.
The lift amount detection unit is configured such that the magnet is integrally provided at an end portion of the nozzle needle facing the body member, the body member is made of a ferromagnetic material, and the detection coil is wound around an outer periphery. The bobbin member is formed in a cylindrical shape, the detection coil is embedded and fixed together with the bobbin member on the side opposite to the control chamber of the body member, and the inside of the bobbin member is made of a ferromagnetic material. It is characterized by doing so .
[0008]
In the above configuration, when one of the magnet and the detection coil is displaced integrally with the nozzle needle, the relative distance between the magnet and the detection coil changes, so that the magnetic flux exits the magnet and passes through the detection coil. The amount changes. This amount of magnetic flux changes with a high response due to a change in the relative distance between the magnet and the detection coil. Therefore, compared with the conventional configuration in which the magnetic circuit resistance that greatly depends on the magnetic response of the magnetic circuit component is measured. High response can be detected. In addition, the configuration is simple, and it is excellent in economy and practicality.
Specifically, the magnet is integrally provided at the end of the nozzle needle, the detection coil is embedded and fixed in the body member made of a ferromagnetic material, and the bobbin around which the detection coil is wound around the outer periphery When the member is formed in a cylindrical shape, the detection coil and the high-pressure fuel can be easily separated, and the magnetic flux generated by the magnet can easily pass through the detection coil. In addition, the strength is improved.
