Claims (16)
- 自動車に動力を供給し、複数のセルを含むバッテリーを管理するバッテリー管理システムにおいて、
前記複数のセルのセル電圧を測定するセンシング部と、
前記センシング部で測定された複数のセル電圧を各々正常範囲と比較して、前記複数のセルの中から前記第1セルを検出するセルバランシング判断部と、
前記自動車の運行モードが一時停車モードまたは走行モードの場合、前記第1セルの電圧を放電させるように制御するセルバランシング制御部と、
前記セルバランシング制御部の制御により前記第1セルの電圧を放電させるセルバランシング部と、
を含み、
前記センシング部で測定された複数のセル電圧に応じてセルバランシングを要する少なくとも一つの第1セルを検出して、前記自動車の運行モードに応じて異なる方法で前記少なくとも一つの第1セルのセルバランシングを遂行し、
前記自動車の運行モードが停車モードの場合、前記セルバランシング判断部は前記複数のセルの中から過充電セルまたは過放電セルを検出して、
前記セルバランシング部は、前記過充電セルからエネルギーを受けて、前記過放電セルに前記過充電セルから受けたエネルギーを伝達することを特徴とするバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記セルバランシング部は、
前記複数のセルに各々第1端が接続されており、第1出力端に第2端が接続された複数の第1セルバランシングスイッチと、
前記複数のセルに各々第1端が接続されており、第2出力端に第2端が接続された複数の第2セルバランシングスイッチと、
前記自動車の運行モードが一時停車モードまたは走行モードの場合、前記第1セルを放電させる第1セルバランシング駆動部と、
前記自動車の運行モードが停車モードの場合、前記過充電セルから受けたエネルギーを前記過放電セルに伝達する第2セルバランシング駆動部と、
前記第1セルバランシング駆動部と前記第1出力端及び前記第2出力端を接続する第1リレーと、
前記第2セルバランシング駆動部と前記第1出力端及び第2出力端を接続する第2リレーと、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記セルバランシング制御部は、前記自動車の運行モードが一時停車モードまたは走行モードの場合、前記第1リレーを導通させて、前記複数のセルバランシングスイッチの中から前記第1セルに対応する第1セルバランシングスイッチ及び第2セルバランシングスイッチを導通させることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記第1セルバランシング駆動部は、
前記第1リレーの一端にその一端が接続された第1抵抗と、
前記第1リレーの一端及び前記第1抵抗の一端にその一端が接続された第2抵抗と、
前記第2抵抗の他端に第1電極が接続され、前記第1リレーの他端に第2電極が接続されている第1トランジスタと、
前記第1抵抗の他端に第1電極が接続された第2トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの制御電極と第2電極との間に接続され、前記第2トランジスタの第2電極に接続されている第3抵抗と、
前記第2トランジスタとフォトカプラーを構成するフォトダイオードと、
前記フォトダイオードのアノード電極に接続されている第1電源と、
前記フォトダイオードのカソード電極に一端が接続されている第4抵抗と、
前記第4抵抗の一端及び前記フォトダイオードのカソード電極にその一端が接続されている第5抵抗と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記セルバランシング制御部は、前記第4抵抗の他端に放電制御信号を印加し、前記放電制御信号によって前記フォトダイオードに駆動電流が流れることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記駆動電流に応じて前記第2トランジスタにバイアス電流が流れて、前記バイアス電流と前記第3抵抗によって前記第1トランジスタの制御電極と第2電極に印加されるバイアス電圧によって前記第1トランジスタが導通されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記第1トランジスタが導通されると、前記第2抵抗と前記第1トランジスタを含む放電経路によって前記第1セルの電荷が放電されて、前記第1セルの電圧が減少することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記セルバランシング制御部は、前記自動車の運行モードが停車モードの場合に前記第2リレーを導通させ、前記複数のセルバランシングスイッチの中の前記過充電セルに対応する第1及び第2セルバランシングスイッチを導通させ、前記過充電セルが正常範囲に到達すると、前記第1及び第2セルバランシングスイッチを遮断させることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記セルバランシング制御部は、前記第1セルバランシングスイッチ及び第2セルバランシングスイッチが遮断された後に前記複数の第1セルバランシングスイッチの中の前記過放電セルに対応する第3セルバランシングスイッチ及び前記複数の第2セルバランシングスイッチの中の前記過放電セルに対応する第4セルバランシングスイッチを導通させることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記セルバランシング制御部は、前記過放電セルが正常範囲に達すると前記第3セルバランシングスイッチ及び第4セルバランシングスイッチを遮断させることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記第2セルバランシング駆動部は、
前記第2リレーの一端にその一端が接続され、前記第2リレーの他端にその他端が接続されているインダクタを含み、
前記インダクタは導通された前記第1及び第2セルバランシングスイッチ及び導通された前記第2リレーを通して伝えられるエネルギーを貯蔵することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記インダクタに貯蔵されたエネルギーは、導通された前記第3セルバランシングスイッチ及び第4セルバランシングスイッチ並びに導通された前記第2リレーを通して前記過放電セルに伝達することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記第2セルバランシング駆動部は、前記インダクタに電気的に並列接続されているキャパシタをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記複数のセルに各々接続され、前記バッテリー管理システムと前記複数のセルを各々接続する接続ポート部をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 前記バッテリー管理システムは、一つのチップで構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 自動車に動力を供給し、複数のセルを含むバッテリーを管理するバッテリー管理システムの駆動方法において、
a)前記自動車の運行モードを判断する段階と、
b)前記複数のセルの電圧を各々センシングする段階と、
c)前記複数のセルの中からセルバランシングを要するセルを判断する段階と、
d)前記自動車の運行モードに応じて、異なる方法で前記複数のセルの中のセルバランシングが必要であると判断されたセルのセルバランシングを遂行する段階と、
を含み、
前記a)段階において、前記自動車の運行モードが停車モードの場合、
前記c)段階は前記複数のセル中の過充電及び過放電セルを検出する段階を含み、
前記d)段階は前記過充電セルのエネルギーを前記過放電セルに伝達して、前記過充電セル及び過放電セルのセルバランシングを遂行する段階を含み、
前記a)段階において、前記自動車の運行モードが一時停車モードまたは走行モードの場合、
前記c)段階は前記複数のセルの中の過充電セルを検出する段階を検出し、
前記d)段階は前記過充電セルを放電させてセルバランシングを遂行する段階を含むことを特徴とする、バッテリー管理システムの駆動方法。
