Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an air belt device that inflates a belt that restrains an occupant to a seat in a vehicle collision with high-pressure gas supplied from an inflator.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Hei 6-262994 has already known an air belt device in which a bag is housed inside a shoulder belt portion of a webbing of a seat belt and the bag is inflated to restrain a passenger softly when a vehicle collides.
[0003]
In the above conventional air belt device, the webbing is divided into two parts, a shoulder belt part that restrains the chest of the occupant with a bag and a lap belt part that restrains the abdomen of the occupant without a bag. Both the end of the part and the end of the lap belt part are fixed to the tongue device. On the other hand, the webbing of a normal seat belt device is not divided into two, and slidably penetrates a slit provided in the tongue device. The reason why the webbing of the conventional air belt device is divided into two is that the shoulder belt portion incorporating the bag becomes thick and cannot pass through the slit provided in the tongue device.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in a normal seat belt device in which the webbing slidably penetrates the slit provided in the tongue device, the webbing can be performed when the seat belt device is not used by simply providing a retractor at the end of the webbing on the shoulder belt side. It can be wound up so that the whole of it is along the center pillar. This is because the webbing slides freely in the slit of the tongue device, so that the tongue device does not hinder the winding of the webbing.
[0005]
On the other hand, in the conventional air belt device, the end portion of the shoulder belt portion of the webbing and the end portion of the lap belt portion are fixed to the tongue device so as not to be slidable. There is a problem that a retractor that winds the part is required, which increases the number of parts and increases the cost, and requires a large space for mounting the two retractors.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object thereof is to ensure that a webbing can be reliably wound with a single retractor without impeding the occupant restraint performance of the air belt device.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, one end of the invention is supported so as to be able to be wound around the retractor, and the other end is fixed to the vehicle body via an intermediate portion slidable through the tongue device. A webbing, a bag assembly that is slidably supported by the webbing and has one end coupled to the tongue device, a buckle device that is fixed to the vehicle body and is detachably coupled to the tongue device, and a tongue device or a buckle device An inflator provided at the other end of the bag assembly and a webbing restraining member provided at the other end of the bag assembly for restraining relative sliding between the other end of the bag assembly and the webbing during operation and allowing it during non-operation. sometimes in high pressure gas inflator occurs, the air belt instrumentation which is adapted to restrain the occupant by expanding the gas chamber in the bag housed in the bag assembly There is,
In the bag, a gas passage that extends along the longitudinal direction of the bag and into which the high-pressure gas from the inflator is introduced before the gas chamber when a vehicle collides, and the bag at the other end of the bag assembly. A restraining portion that is provided inside and communicates between the gas passage and the gas chamber, and the webbing restraining member is activated in response to the restraint portion being expanded by the high-pressure gas. The gas chamber is provided with a high-pressure gas that is provided at a position corresponding to the restraining portion and is generated by an inflator when a vehicle collides, and the restraining portion expands prior to the gas chamber to operate the webbing restraining member. An air belt device is proposed in which the air belt is inflated .
[0008]
According to the above configuration, when the retractor winds up the webbing when the air belt device is not attached, the bag assembly slides relative to the webbing, so the retractor winds the webbing sufficiently without being obstructed by the bag assembly. Can be taken. As a result, it is not necessary to provide retractors at both ends of the webbing, and the number of parts, the installation space, and the cost can be reduced. Further, when pulling out the webbing from the retractor when the air belt device is mounted, the bag assembly slides with respect to the webbing, so that the webbing is not hindered. When the inflator generates high-pressure gas at the time of a vehicle collision, the bag stored in the bag assembly is inflated, and the occupant can be restrained softly.
[0010]
Also, a webbing restraining member is provided at the other end of the bag assembly, and the high-pressure gas from the inflator is introduced into the bag before the gas chamber in the bag when the vehicle collides. A gas passage, and a restraining portion provided in the bag at the other end of the bag assembly to communicate between the gas passage and the gas chamber. The webbing restraining member is provided so that the restraining portion is inflated with high-pressure gas. In response to the high pressure gas generated by the inflator at the time of a vehicle collision, the restraint portion expands before the gas chamber and operates the webbing restraint member. since gas chamber was made to expand, the bag upon collision of the vehicle (in particular restraining portion) is expanded, the webbing restraint member provided on the other end of the bag assembly in its pressure Restraining the Ebingu, thereby, the distance between the tongue device and the webbing restraining member is contracted with the expansion of the bag (in particular gas chamber), is effective pretensioner giving tension to the webbing, occupant restraining performance Can be increased.
