Description
本実用特許出願は、2005年10月4日に出願された米国仮特許出願第60/723,406号の利益を主張する。この出願の内容全体が、本明細書に組み込まれる。
2)バックグラウンド蛍光の望ましくない量を生じ得るガラススライドの露出された表面を覆うコーティング;
3)バックグラウンド蛍光の望ましくない量を生じる、膜の露出された縁を覆うコーティング;
4)同じく、バックグラウンド蛍光の望ましくない量を生じる、膜の縁に位置する露出された接着材料を覆うコーティング;
5)付着された膜の縁全体を覆い、及び膜をスライド材料へ機械的に付着させて、溶剤、水溶液又は試薬が膜から滲出するのを防ぎ、溶剤、水溶液又は試薬が膜の付着を損なうのを防ぐコーティング;
6)極めて低いタンパク質結合品質を有するネオプレン又は同等なコーティング(これにより、高価な抗体試薬の付着と、その後生じる抗体試薬の喪失が最小限に抑えられる。)。
Claims (31)
- 第一及び第二の主表面を有するスライドを備え、該スライドが前記第一の主表面から前記第二の主表面へと通じる1以上の開口部と、該1以上の開口部上に前記第一の主表面と前記第二の主表面からなる群から選択される前記スライドの主表面に付着された1以上の膜とを有する、タンパク質マイクロアレイスライド。
- 開口部の数が1であり、及び膜の数が1である、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 開口部の数が2以上であり、及び膜の数が1である、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 開口部の数及び膜の数がともに1を越える、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 開口部の数及び膜の数がともに1を越え、開口部の数が膜の数に等しい、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドが、ガラス、セラミック、金属及びプラスチックからなる群から選択される材料で作製されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドが、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボナート、ABS、ナイロン、アクリル樹脂及びポリスルホンからなる群から選択されるプラスチックで作製されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドが、プラスチックで作製されており、及び1以上の蛍光遮断又は吸収材料を含有する、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドが、プラスチックで作製されており、並びにカーボンブラック、木炭、活性炭及び黒鉛からなる群から選択される1以上の蛍光遮断又は吸収材料を含有する、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドがプラスチックで作製されており、並びに1以上の蛍光遮断又は吸収材料を含有する層で被覆された少なくとも第一及び第二の主表面を有する、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドが1つの開口部を有する、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドが1つの開口部を有し、開口部が、前記スライドの主表面の中央に配置されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドが、格子、網、一連のレーン、一連の孔及びこれらの混合からなる群から選択される形態の2以上の開口部を有する、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 膜が、PVDF、ニトロセルロース及びナイロンからなる群から選択される材料で作製される、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 膜の孔径が膜の厚み方向に非対称であり、孔の開放がより大きな側が、膜が付着されている主表面から離れる方向に面するように、前記膜がスライド上に配置されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 膜が非対称PDVF膜であり、孔の開放がより大きな側が、膜が付着されている主表面から離れる方向に面するように、前記膜がスライド上に配置されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドがプラスチックで作製されており、1つの開口部を含有し、膜が非対称PVDF膜であり、孔の開放がより大きな側が、膜が付着されている主表面から離れる方向に面するように、前記膜がスライド上に配置されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- スライドがプラスチックで作製されており、1つの開口部を有し、膜が非対称PVDF膜であり、孔の開放がより大きな側が、膜が付着されている主表面から離れる方向に面するように、前記膜が前記スライド上に配置されており、前記スライドが1以上の蛍光遮断又は吸収材料を含有する、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 接着剤、両面接着テープ及び溶剤結合からなる群から選択される機構によって、膜がスライドの表面に付着されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 膜が、溶剤結合によって、スライドの表面に付着されている、請求項1に記載のスライド。
- 上部カバー、下部カバーから構成され、上部カバー及び下部カバーがスライドを実質的に覆うサイズ及び形状であり、上部カバー又は下部カバーのうち少なくともいずれかが、スライドの膜に対応し且つ一致する1以上の窓を有する、請求項1に記載のタンパク質マイクロアレイスライド用の保持器であって、該タンパク質マイクロアレイスライドを備える前記保持器。
- カバー及び下部カバーの両方が、スライドの1以上の開放部に対応し且つ一致する1以上の開口部を有する、請求項21に記載の保持器。
- 蝶番によって互いに付着されている上部カバー及び下部カバーをさらに備える、請求項21に記載の保持器。
- 蝶番によって互いに付着されている上部カバー及び下部カバーをさらに備え、前記蝶番が、前記上部カバー及び下部カバーを含む連続片の一部として形成されている、請求項21に記載の保持器。
- 保持器が2つ折りデザインである、請求項21に記載の保持器。
