Claims (17)
- 入力側の第1軸と出力側の第2軸との間に第1電動機のロータが配置され、これら第1軸および第2軸ならびにロータが、少なくとも回転方向で一体に連結されている動力伝達装置において、
前記ロータは、その回転中心軸線に沿う円筒部を有するとともにその円筒部が軸受を介して所定の固定部に回転自在に取り付けられ、さらに
前記第1軸と第2軸との少なくとも一方が、前記円筒部に挿入され、かつ前記第1軸が前記ロータに連結されるとともに、その第1軸に前記第2軸が連結されており、
前記円筒部の内周側に前記第2軸が挿入されるとともに、前記円筒部の内周部には、前記第2軸の外周面との間の隙間が、前記ロータの外周面とステータの内周面との間の最小隙間より小さい小径部が形成されることにより前記第2軸が前記ロータの組付けのためのガイド部となっていることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 前記第1軸を出力軸としかつ回転数が電気的に制御される電気駆動装置により変速比を連続的に変化させられる電気的無段変速部と、前記第2軸を入力軸として変速比が変えられる機械的変速部とを更に備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記機械的変速部は、機械的手段で動力の伝達経路が変化させられて変速比が変えられる機構を備えていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記電気的無段変速部は、内燃機関と、第2電動機と、内燃機関が出力した動力を前記第1軸と前記第2電動機とに分配する差動機構とを含むことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 少なくとも前記機械式変速部と前記第1電動機とを収容するケースを備え、
そのケースは、前記機械式変速部を挿入して組み付けた後に該機械式変速部を収容している収容部を閉じかつ前記第2軸を突出させる隔壁部を有し、その隔壁部によって前記円筒部の端部を支持するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2ないし4のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。 - 前記電気的無段変速部と前記第1電動機と前記機械的変速部とを収容するケースを更に備え、前記固定部は前記ケースの内部に設けられた隔壁部によって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記第1軸が前記ロータにスプライン嵌合し、かつその第1軸に前記第2軸がスプライン嵌合していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記小径部は、前記第2軸の先端部よりも中間部寄りの部分に対向する部分に形成され、かつ前記第2軸の先端部外周面にスプラインが形成され、さらに前記円筒部の内周部のうち前記第2軸の先端部寄りの端部の内周部にスプラインが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記第2軸の先端部に形成された前記スプラインと前記円筒部に形成された前記スプラインとは、軸線方向での位置がほぼ一致していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記第1軸と前記ロータとがスプライン嵌合し始める位置と、前記第1軸と前記第2軸とがスプライン嵌合し始める位置とが軸線方向にずれていることを特徴とする請求項7ないし9のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記第2軸は、前記隔壁部を貫通し、かつ前記隔壁部によって回転自在に支持されていることを特徴とする請求項6ないし10のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記隔壁部に対向して前記第1電動機の収容室を区画する他の固定部を更に備え、前記ロータはその円筒部の両端部を前記隔壁部および前記他の固定部によって回転自在に支持されていることを特徴とする請求項6ないし11のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記第1軸の外周面には前記ロータと連結するためのスプラインが形成され、かつ前記第1軸の内周面には前記第2軸と連結するためのスプラインが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項7ないし12のいずれかに記載の動力伝達装置。

前記第2軸をケースの内部に組み付けた後に、前記ロータの回転中心軸線に沿って形成されている円筒部の内部に前記第2軸を相対回転可能に挿入した状態で前記ロータを前記ケースの内部に組み付け、その後に前記第1軸を前記第2軸に連結するとともに前記ロータに連結することを特徴とする動力伝達装置の組立方法。 - 入力側の第1軸と出力側の第2軸との間に電動機のロータが配置され、これら第1軸および第2軸ならびにロータが少なくとも回転方向で一体に連結されている動力伝達装置の組立方法において、
前記第2軸をケース内に組み付けた状態で該第2軸を貫通させるように隔壁部を前記ケース内に組み付けかつその隔壁部によって前記第2軸を回転自在に支持し、ついで前記ロータを前記第2軸の外周側に嵌合させて軸線方向に移動させることにより前記第2軸をガイド部として前記ロータを組み付けかつ前記隔壁部によって前記ロータの一端部を回転自在に支持し、ついで前記第1軸を前記第2軸に連結するとともに前記ロータに連結することを特徴とする動力伝達装置の組立方法。 - 前記ロータを挟んで前記隔壁部と対向するように他の隔壁部を前記ケースの内部に組み付けることにより前記ロータの他方の端部を該他の隔壁部によって回転自在に支持することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の動力伝達装置の組立方法。
- 前記他の隔壁部を貫通して前記第1軸を前記ロータの内部に挿入することにより前記第1軸と前記ロータとを連結するとともに前記第1軸と前記第2軸を連結することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の動力伝達装置の組立方法。
