Description
本発明は、無線通信に関するものであり、より詳しくは、高速共有チャネル用の無線リソース管理に関するものである。
広帯域符号分割多元アクセス(WCDMA)の無線アクセスに基づいている、第3世代(3G)のユニバーサル移動電話通信システム(UMTS)は、高速データレートの無線アクセスを提供するとともに、第1及び第2世代移動通信システムでは実際には対応できない拡張ベアラーサービスをサポートしている。UMTS地上無線アクセスネットワーク(Terrestrial Radio Access Network)(UTRAN)のような、WCDMA無線アクセスネットワークも、基地局/基地局セクタ間の環境及びトランスペアレント(ソフト/ソフト的)ハンドオーバのフェーディング(減退:fading)時の耐性動作を提供することによって、サービス品質を向上させている。例えば、悪影響を与える(deleterious)マルチパスフェーディングは、RAKE受信機を用いて受信信号品質を改善するために使用され、また、信号処理技術で改善されている。
以下の説明は、説明のためのものであり、制限を目的とするものではなく、本発明の全体理解を提供するために、特定の実施形態、処理、技術等の特定詳細説明を説明するものである。しかしながら、本発明がこれらの特定詳細説明から逸脱しないで他の実施形態で実施され得ることは、当業者には明らかであろう。例えば、本発明は、高速ダウンリンクチャネルを使用するCDMAベースのセルラーシステムに対する適用例で説明されるが、本発明は、様々なタイプのチャネルを有する任意のセルラーシステムに適用することができる。
Claims (8)
- 第1の無線チャネル及び高速共有無線チャネルを含む、無線基地局(24)に関係付けられている複数の無線チャネルを使用する移動無線通信をサポートする移動通信ネットワーク(10)の無線リソースコントローラ22における方法であって、
前記高速共有無線チャネル及び前記無線チャネルに対して割当られている、現在使用している無線リソースを示す1つ以上の測定されたパラメータを、前記無線基地局(24)から受信し、
前記高速共有無線チャネルあるいは他のチャネルによって、前記無線リソースの使用を調整するために、接続許可及び輻輳動作を実行するために、前記測定されたパラメータを使用する
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記無線リソースコントローラ(22)は、前記チャネルを介して送信される信号に対する送信電力測定の基地局測定を使用して、1つ以上の前記第1の無線チャネルあるいは前記高速共有無線チャネルに関係付けられている電力レベルを調整する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記通信は、符号分割多元アクセス(CDMA)ベースであり、前記無線リソースコントローラ(22)は、所定時間期間中の前記高速共有無線チャネルに対する、前記CDMA符号使用の基地局測定の受信において、前記第1の無線チャネル及び前記高速共有無線チャネルの少なくとも一方に対するCDMA符号割当を調整する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記所定時間期間は、複数の送信時間期間(TTI)を含み、前記方法は、更に、
前記所定時間期間中に前記高速共有無線チャネルに対してCDMA符号が使用されるTTIの数、あるいは前記所定時間期間中に前記高速共有無線チャネルに対して前記CDMA符号のセットが使用されるTTIの数を測定する
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記無線リソースコントローラ(22)は、所定時間期間中に前記高速共有無線チャネルに対するトランスポートフォーマット使用の受信された基地局測定に基づいて、前記第1の無線チャネル及び前記高速共有無線チャネルの少なくとも一方に対するCDMA符号割当を調整する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記無線リソースコントローラ(22)は、前記高速共有チャネルに対するデータ送信スケジューリング時に基地局バッファ内の前記高速共有チャネルを介して送信するデータを現在有する移動無線機ユーザ(34)の数の基地局測定から受信される動的付加測定を使用することによって、前記無線基地局(24)を制御する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 第1の無線チャネル及び高速共有無線チャネルを含む無線基地局(24)に関係付けられている、複数の無線チャネルを使用する移動無線通信をサポートする移動通信ネットワーク(10)内の無線リソースコントローラユニット(22)であって、
前記高速共有無線チャネル及び前記無線チャネルに対して割当られている、現在使用している無線リソースを示す1つ以上の測定されたパラメータを、前記無線基地局(24)から受信する手段と、
前記高速共有無線チャネルあるいは他のチャネルによって、前記無線リソースの使用を調整するために、前記測定されたパラメータに基づいて、接続許可及び輻輳動作を実行する手段と
を備えることを特徴とする無線リソースコントローラユニット。 - 第1無線チャネル及び高速共有無線チャネルを含む複数の無線チャネルを使用して、移動無線通信をサポートする移動通信ネットワーク(10)であって、
請求項7に従う無線リソースコントローラユニット(22)と、
前記無線チャネルに関係付けられている無線基地局(24)と備え
前記無線基地局(24)は、前記高速共有無線チャネルの測定に影響を与える1つ以上のパラメータを測定する検出器手段と、前記無線リソースコントローラ(22)へ前記1つ以上の測定されたパラメータを通知する手段を備える
ことを特徴とする移動通信ネットワーク。
