BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle control device having a fail-safe function using a multiple communication line (LAN) provided in a vehicle, and is suitable for application to a vehicle wiper device, a vehicle lighting device, and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a vehicle control device having a fail-safe function using multiple communication lines (LAN) in a vehicle, there are a vehicle wiper device, a vehicle lighting device, and the like. The circuit configurations of these conventional vehicle wiper devices and vehicle lighting devices are shown in FIGS.
[0003]
In the vehicle wiper device shown in FIG. 5, when a wiper drive request is transmitted from the driver through the wiper switch J1, the microcomputer J2 outputs a control signal corresponding to the request. When the control signal is sent to the microcomputer J6 via the communication interface J3, the multiple communication line J4, and the communication interface J5, a voltage having a level corresponding to the input control signal is output from each output port of the microcomputer J6. As a result, the semiconductor switch J7 is turned on, the switch contact of the relay switch J8 is switched, and power is supplied from the power source IG to the wiper motor J9 through the path indicated by the arrow in the figure.
[0004]
In consideration of a case where a communication failure occurs in the vehicle wiper device and the microcomputer J6 cannot generate an output that meets the driver's request, the non-multiplexed line J11 connected to the wiper switch J1 via the diode J10. Is provided. In such a configuration, when a communication failure occurs during the wiper operation, a current flows through a path passing through the diode J10 and the wiper switch J1, and the contact position of the relay switch J8 is maintained. Supply is maintained. Further, when a communication failure occurs when the wiper operation is not performed, the path passing through the diode J10 and the wiper switch J1 is in a cut-off state, so that the power supply to the wiper motor J9 is not performed.
[0005]
As described above, in the vehicle wiper device, when a failure occurs such that the control signal from the microcomputer J2 cannot be transmitted, the wiper drive is controlled to maintain the same operation as before the failure. In other words, it is not preferable to stop the wiper operation when the wiper is already driven as in rainy weather, so the wiper is kept moving and the wiper is not driven as in fine weather Since it is not necessary to operate the wiper, the wiper is not moved.
[0006]
In the vehicle lighting device shown in FIG. 6, when a lamp lighting request is transmitted from the driver through the lamp switch J21, the microcomputer J22 outputs a control signal corresponding to the request. When the control signal is sent to the microcomputer J26 via the communication interface J23, the multiple communication line J24, and the communication interface J25, a voltage having a level corresponding to the input control signal is output from the output port of the microcomputer J26. As a result, the semiconductor switch J27 is turned on and each relay switch J28 is turned on, so that the voltage supply from the power supply IG is performed to the lamp J29.
[0007]
In such a vehicle lighting device, when a failure occurs such that the control signal from the microcomputer J22 cannot be transmitted, the output from the microcomputer J26 becomes indefinite, so that the non-multiplex line is separated from the multiplex communication line J24. J30 is provided, and the semiconductor switch J31 is turned on so that the relay switch J28 is turned on even in the event of a failure so that the lamp J29 remains lit.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the fail-safe function is obtained by providing the non-multiplexed lines J11 and J30 as in the conventional configuration, the reduction of the wire harness, which is the main purpose of using the multiplexed communication lines J4 and J24, is sufficiently achieved. I can't.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to enable a fail-safe function to be exhibited in the event of a communication failure without separately mounting a non-multiplexed line in addition to a multiplexed communication line.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, when a control request is received, a first control device (2, 22) that outputs a control signal corresponding to the control request, and a first control device from the first control device. A second control device (6, 26) for receiving a control signal and generating a predetermined output signal; a multiplex communication line (4, 24) for transmitting a control signal from the first control device to the second control device; And at least one relay switch (8, 9, 31) for switching a path for supplying power from the power source (IG) to the load (10, 32) based on an output signal from the second control device. The one relay switch is composed of a switch (8b, 9b) and one coil (8a, 9a), and the second control device has at least two output ports for at least one switch. Be prepared Is energized said one coil by the output logic from the at least two output ports, so that the switching of the at least one switch is performedIn addition, a combination in which the output logics from at least two output ports in the second control device are all the same is used as an output when the second control device is abnormal. It is characterized by that.
[0011]
ThisThus, at least one relay switch composed of a switch and one coil.If the switch is switched based on the output logic of at least two output ports, the load in the vehicle control device can be driven based on the output logic of the two output ports. Therefore, the fail-safe function can be exhibited at the time of communication failure without separately mounting a non-multiplex line in addition to the multiple communication line.
A combination in which the output logics from at least two output ports in the second control device are all the same can be used as an output when the second control device is abnormal.
[0012]
Also,Claim5As shown in FIG. 2, a combination of different output logics from at least two output ports in the second control device can be used as an output when the second control device is normally driven..
[0014]
Claims2 or 3As shown in FIG. 2, when the output logic from at least two output ports in the second control device is the same combination, the switching state of the switch is controlled so as to drive the load. You can also. As such a vehicle control device, for example, a claim4As shown in FIG. 4, a vehicle lighting device for driving the vehicle lamp (32) can be mentioned.
[0015]
In addition, the code | symbol in the bracket | parenthesis of each said means shows the correspondence with the specific means as described in embodiment mentioned later.
